GRN Date or MB1C date should be considered for batch

Dear All,
Our customer wants to include GRN date (MIGO) and Goods posting date (MB1C) as a Characteristic for a batch.
And he wants the system to pick up these dates automatically for batch.
So in batches will be sorted out based on GRN (MIGO) or Goods posting (MB1C) date.
How to achieve this functionality.

What Mac Pro specs should I consider for photography?

After years of putting up with various pc configurations, I've decided to take the plunge and go over to a Mac Pro system.
I have up to £4000 to invest on a system to use primarily for my work as a photographer. But which areas should I concentrate on when configuring my set-up? Given that Photoshop seems happy to suck up as much memory and processing power as one can throw at it, a sizeable amount of RAM and a decent speed of processor appears obvious. But how much RAM and what size processor, bearing in mind that my image file sizes are usually around the 300Mb mark and often go as high as 700Mb when containing unflattened layers? These file sizes have rendered my supposed powerful Dell to performing at a snails pace. Also, what else should I consider in my configuration?
My image library is stored on a separate drive, so I could probably live with a reduced hard drive capacity if necessary.
Incidentally, I am far from being a computer boffin, so I'd appreciate advice which isn't overly technical.

I'm in the UK and I use my Mac Pro for Video and Photography and I've had a few Mac Pro's getting to my ideal solution. If you are only using it for Photography I think you would be fine with 8Gb of RAM but if you fill out all 8 slots with 2Gb modules from Crucial it's not too bad to go to 16Gb. My advice would be to run the Mac Pro on a large Western Digital Caviar Black (their quickest) such as the 2Tb model. Then, I'd invest in a Tempo SATA card so you can purchase either a Drobo or a Hive for your Vault for Aperture so you have total peace of mind with your data. Display wise, just buy an Apple 30" Cinema before they replace it with a glossy version. They are absolutely superb for Video and Photography but beware, if they go wrong and they are in the bin, so buy AppleCare immediately. I've listed my setup below with where to buy and costs in UK pounds. Good luck and enjoy.

All the prices are inclusive of the dreaded VAT so if you are VAT registered you can save. I would say that with Aperture 3 you need full Photoshop less than ever, I'd consider Elements to start with to save some cash. You could also look at a Drobo instead of the Hive but we bought both in our office and the Drobo is painfully slow in comparison to the Hive and the Hive uses a dedicated Hardware RAID where the Drobos use a software version and I've heard some horror stories from Drobo owners.

What methodogies should i consider for making a game?

Im at the begining of making a game. I was wondering what design methodoligies i should use for constructing the game. The game will be in the form of a classic arcade stlye shoot-em up.

In my workplace, we have identified five general methodologies; the waterfall, the v-shaped, the prototyping, the incremental and the spiral development patterns.
For you, I would suggest doing the incremental (iterative) or the spiral pattern. What they have in common is that you start with a very basic, very rudimentary working system and add increasingly sophisticated functionality.
Incremental (iterative) makes you add components. For example, a graphics framework, then sound code, then the ability to save games and so on. Presumably other components include support for joysticks and gamepads.
Spiral on the other hand has you make a complete, rudimentary package from the start and you consider the risks involved in adding the next layer of sophistication. "Is it worth swapping out my sprite based 2D graphics system for a 3D model-based system?"
But keep in mind that "design methodologies" are really nothing more than a way for you to organize your work such that you can offer a reasonable accurate schedule and a cost for implementing the project. For example, you could say it would take you about X number of days to switch from 2D to 3D and you can then determine if your game is going to be that much better for the work you put in.
However, I suspect you're really done this for the fun of it, you just want to dabble in Java and have a bit of fun with it. In which case, I would not bother with a design method any more elaborate than a program logic flowchart and a crude schedule of what to code first.
Hint: threads containing rudimentary controls and a basic 2D graphics framework that can move an image around the screen are probably the first thing you should code.

Req. delivery date and Delivery date should be same in a sales order

We need a customization for getting Requested delivery date, Material Availability date and Delivery date should be same.
Example if I keep request delivery date as 12/12/2012, system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity.

What you are going to achieve by this? Hope you know the concept of MAD and confirmed quantity fields. Let us assume, if stock is not there for a material for which sale order is created, can you let me know, you want the system still to confirm the quantity? You can post the goods issue only if system confirms the quantity in schedule line which is possible, only if stock is made available. If client asks something which is not possible in SAP, think in a logical way how SAP works and convince them accordingly.

How to change the date considered for taxing purposes?

Hello All,
In the preparation for the new tax rate in Québec, I need to configure the system to consider two dates in order to proporly select the TVQ rate. The change date as well as the current and the next rate were already set in FTXP. But when I try to make a payment the rate is taken according to the invoice date.
The regulation requires it to be the earliest of (Due Date) and (Payment Date). How can I configure that?

I had a wrong assumption... Invoice date is good for this purpose.

Billing date in sales order should not be modifiable to backwards dates

hi gurus
I have a requirement where in few users while creating a sales order , they should not be able to modify the billing dates to previous dates . So that particular field shd not be modifiable . Could use some help here .

While creating the billing document in VF01 the billing date will be changed manually by the user.
This change will not applicable in sales order.
Once you save the billing document you can't change the billing date in sales order ,it will be graded out.
Before saving the billing document only the date can be changed in sales order.

VAT should post based on PO date or GR date not based on MIRO posting date

Based on posting date in Invoice(MIRO) & condition record validity period, VAT is calculated & posting on invoice posting.
Condition record for VAT condition type with tax code(T9):
01.01.2011 to 31.01.2011-------> 4%
01.02.2011 to 28.02.2011------->12%
01.03.2011 to 31.03.2011------->14.5%
PO created and GR done on February & invoive done on March and syatem calculated VAT amount perfactly based on validity period maintained in condition recod and invoice posted.
But requirement is system should post invoice VAT amount as mentioned in the PO ( based on PO date) or GR date to post during Invoice posting in MIRO

SD Master data includes:
- Customer Master data
- Material Master data
- Customer-Material Info records
- Enterprise Structure info (Dist Channels,Divisions etc)
- Condition Master Data in Pricing.
I believe, all these need to be uploaded during GO Live.

You need to upgrade to the next OS 10.6 Snow Leopard by purchasing the DVD online.

and once installed, use Software Update
- to update to 10.6.8
- and update your iTunes.

Increment the number with date/time string. when ever the next date come's it should reset again with initial number

i want to store the number of records in a file. Every time when ever i run the program the record will be incremented well i using forloop with count value 1 as a constant .in the for loop i am using autoincrement with the feedback node . to view the number i have attached the indicatator .the number will be increment every time . i am using number to time time stamp that is connected to get date/time string. from that we can view the date string and time string . so , my issue is when ever i close the code again it is coming with intial value . i should get from that number only where ever i close the code . after the date completed again it should come from intial value . i am attaching the code so that u guys can solve my problem.

That usually means that iPhoto can't find a clip or a shot that you're using in the Slideshow.

Please provide an example for tax details. Make note on these,
1. Whenever copy GRPO to AP invoice, posting and document date is system date. This is default design system
2. If you change these dates in AP invoice, your payment to vendor leads to confusion.
For example:
You have received items on 25-03-2014. But vendor raised invoice on 03/04/2014.

I have an entity that has several dates. The dates are stored in a table separate from the entity, each entity date has a date type (open, close, interview, etc) associated with it. The DBAs idea (who else of course!) was to have the flexibility to add new types of dates for entities when needed.
So you have tables like this -
Table: EntityTable
Columns: EntityId, EntityName
Table: DatesTable
Columns: EntityId, Date, DateTypeCd
I need to display an editable ADF form where I can update the entity and the entity dates
The ADF form would contain something like this -------
Entity Name: []
Opening Date: []
Closing Date: []
Interview Date: []
What kind of view object would I need to create to achieve this?

That would be a master-detail relation 1-* between 'entity' and 'entity dates'. If your dba has set up the foreign key association in the db and you use the wizard to create the business objects, jdev pick up the relation and create the correct master detail relation in the vo layer for you.
By the way naming a table 'entity' is not a good idea when working with ADFbc. We all talk about entities when we relate to a business object (in this case a row of a table or entity object or EO). So it's hard to distinguish the two, your specific table 'entiyt' and the common term entity or EO which can be a row of any table.
