Group and Merge Delimited List
Hi All
Is there a way we can sort the result of Group and Merge processor->Delimited list values ?
I see none in the options and it seems sorting them in alphabetical order.

Hi Sid,
Yes, the "Delimited List" selection function in Group and Merge sorts the results into ascending alphabetical order. This was a deliberate decision so that the results of the processor are deterministic and agnostic of the order of the records entering the processor. It is not possible to change this sort order inside the processor but if required you can perform downstream post-processing of the data if you need to change the order.

When I use Thunderbird with Yahoo Groups, Google groups, and other email lists, I don't get a copy of my own emails back from the list. I *do* when I use Mail, so it seems like a Thunderbird thing. I'd really like to see my own emails come back to me in the conversation so that I know where my remarks fall in the discussion; it's very disorienting when you can't tell if your email has arrived at the list, or not. It's both gmail and mac.com email accounts, and it's all email lists -- including some privately hosted on servers, that are not Google groups, not Yahoo groups.
I'm not sure what you mean by "saving a copy of your messages yourself" in Mail -- if I email to the lists with Mail on my laptop or iPad, I can see it on my desktop computer too, right in line with other email messages in the thread, after the list resends the message I've submitted. It's only Thunderbird that this "invisible posts" behavior happens, and it didn't use to happen this way. I used to get my emails posting right in the thread. -
Problems with grouped and merging layers
Sometimes when I combine layered .pdf files (by dragging pages in or doing Merge Files Into a Single PDF), the layers come in grouped (by file name) and other times they do not. Why is that? Also, is there a way to ungroup layers in Acrobat?
Any help is much appreciated!
For those interested in the background, I have a bunch of layered .pdf files that I want to combine. They were created from a single large Photoshop image sliced into page-sized pieces so the files all have the same layers and the layers are arranged and named the same in every file. I want the combined PDF book to maintain these layers so the user can, with one click, turn on or off a given layer across all pages of the PDF. Clicking on a layer on every page just isn't going to cut it.
I figured I would just combine all of the single PDF pages and then merge all of the layers of a given name so that I end up with just one layer for each type. The problem is that the merging works sometimes and not others. I can't figure out why, but it works far more often when the files combine without the layers grouped. It still doesn't work all of the time, but it NEVER works if the layers come in grouped - so I figure I would start there.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. I used the method outlined below to turn my layered Photoshop (CS5) files in layered PDF files:

If I drop a file in after all existing pages, then the layers are grouped by file name.

If there are layer groups then merging fails. The names of the merged layers disappear from the layer list but the conent is left permanently visible.
If the layers are not divided into groups, then merging works most of the time. I haven't figure out why it occassionaly fails this way too, but so far it's been easy to work around.
This is Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 so no chance of it being fixed - so amybe this will help someone else in the same boat. -
Retrieving User groups and email for all users in a group
Hi Everyone,
I need to create an ADF application to retrieve all the groups in OID, the user would select a group and it should list down all the email addresses in that group.
Can you suggest what is the best way to achieve this. My main concern is how to retrieve groups and email addresses from OID. I was unable to find APIs for it.

Is there a way that administrator install the extension and make this extension available for other users in multi-user environment(e.g. the Windows 7)
Dreamweaver had this capability many releases ago, but it has been dropped, so it's no longer available.

i have one requirement . I have give internal number range to the task list. so my need to to create task list with one group and several group counter. But what is happening is when i run LSMW for that. seperate group numbers has been generated for each task list. is there any way to get the same group number with different counters using LSMW>hi
since you have given internal number range for task list system will try to create task list with different group numbers .if you want the same group number with different group counter then i think you have to use the task list with external number and use the number created before

Use the function module "CLAF_OBJECTS_OF_CLASS". Pass following paramters
CLASS : <Site Group>
CLASSTEXT : 'X'
CLASSTYPE : 030
Output internal table structure T_OBJECTS will have the list of Sites assigned to this site group.

You can use the "commadmin group search" command to list the ldap groups (if you have Delegated Administration installed/configured), otherwise you can use a directory ldapsearch to find the groups.

How do I remove Facebook contacts from my Contacts list on my 4S??? I've already gone into iCloud settings and Facebook is not even an option to turn off and I've gone into "Groups" in my contact list and Facebook is not there either. How do I stop this??
Hmmmm...maybe try deleting them again (I know it's a pain) and then doing a manual icloud backup (unless you already did this). Icloud may be putting them back on there. I never allowed FB to put the contacts on my phone lol. Also try going into Privacy and Contacts...make sure FB isn't on in there. Might be a few other spots to check under settings to make sure too. And...you might want to try deleting the FB app, do a icloud backup, and then reinstall FB

Thank You!I don't recall PowerShell V3 introducing anything new to handle local users and groups. You need to use PowerShell V1 methods, using the [ADSI] accelerator and the WinNT: provider. The scripts linked above show this. No need to use WMI (which would probably
be slower).

2. Utility Actions: It contains many actions, such as ‘Extract Substring from Index of String’ and ‘Find substring in String’.

We need to loop through the string returned from the look up column and look for commas. There are three
scenarios:
1. No comma but string is non-empty so there is only one country.
2. At least one comma so there is at least two or more countries to loop.
3. In the loop we have consumed all the commas so we have found the last country.

1. "Find string in string (output to Variable:index)" will return -1 if doesn't find
the searched for string.

Create a custom list named Lookup2, add column: Destinations (Lookup; Get information from: Lookup1 in Title column).
Create a custom list named Lookup3, add column: Country (Single line of text).
Create a workflow associated to Lookup2.

Start the workflow automatically when an item is created.
Add item to Lookup2, then workflow will be started automatically and create multiple items to lookup3.

Failed to revert logical volume group while merging partition
Hi All,
Previously, on my macbook pro, I partitioned my disk for win7 for my dual operation system and only left 120 GB for OS, now I want to delete win7 and return disk space to OS. Currently my OS is yosemite.
I have already deleted disk space for win7 and merged it back to disk0s3. And, I had a problem to merge disk0s2 with disk0s3.
I was told it is because I need to revet my Logical Volume Group. I am blocked at reverting it.

Hello , On a report page, I've created a button item SEARCH, which has "Button Request" set to value : 'SEARCH'. However, after hiting this button, v('REQUEST') returns null, not 'SEARCH' (as I expected) Anybody knows why ? Thank you,
