Group Call Problem (Can't join + more)

Hello!
For a while now I have not been able to join a group call while it is going on. I would have to get the host of the call to reset, and call back so I could answer from the beginning.
As of recently (Problem started for me around 6/27/14) I am not able to join at the beginning of the call. Tonight I had the host restart the call, and instead of getting the popup notification for an incoming call, my skype application froze and force quit, bringing me back to the Xbox One menu.

We are experiencing a similar problem. We are unable to use the group chat or the group call function at the moment (and even person-to-person calls are unstable). Weare an experienced Skype user group and have regular conference calls on Skype, and we are stymied why the group call function does not seem to work. I ran the test (/get name), and our call is listed as being in the cloud (starting with "19"), so I don't know what the problem is. We'd appreciate if this problem was resolved as soon as possible. Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
This sound like a firewall issue. I would start by disabling the firewall and seeing if you can connect. If this works then you know where the problem is,

If you're trying to join 20 tables I would check:
- Are all the joins necessary. It's easy sometimes to just join to another table because you're unsure as to whether it's required.
- What sort of application is it? 20 joins seems a lot to me. Are you trying to achieve too much with one query? Is it possible to break the problem down?
- If it is necessary to join so many tables then force the use of hash joins in the query, especially if you're processing a lot of data and want the best throughput. If you want a quicker response, this will not be a appropriate.

Group Call Problem

Hello, for a while now we have been having problems with group calls. Anyone that tries to join our group call from an Xbox One can not join. They have to be on the skype app and accept from the notification to even have a shot at joining. Now that not the end of the problem, if a call has already been started and they try to join mid call they have no chance at joining. Also if they somehow succeed in joining the call they still can get randomly dropped from the call, thus being unable to join back. We have tried all of the solutions I have seen on this site, this includes adding everyone in the call, and making sure the host of the call has the most up to date skype version. I would apprecaite help on this topic as it has been really annoying to deal with. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate any help.

I should have mentioned I was able to connect with the guy individually on Skype, but couldn't get him in the group. He ended up getting blocked out of Skype for too many wrong log-ins, so we're hoping to go back in about 40 minutes and try again.

When in group call some can hear me and some can't

Recently since the update to 7.9 for mac when joining group calls my voice sounds scratchy and unclear to certain users in the group call while some cant hear me at all when in a one on one call the call quality is fine. Please help this is impeding my work

I'm having the same issue.
I can make/receive a call and can't hear the other person unless I use an external mic or the speaker.
I haven't had any other troubles, and haved loved the phone so far, but this is a big problem for me because I travel a lot for work.
I need a fix soon. Gonna contact Apple soon or drive about 100 miles to go to the nearest Apple store.
Any help would be appreciated.

Normally when a JOIN between two database tables is made then following steps occur:-
1) The control goes to database. Based on the JOINING and WHERE condition, an internal table is created in the DATABASE only which is filled. So here the computation is done at DATABASE level.
2) Once the internal table is filled at database level, it is sent back to the application level.
A Join operation normally minimizes the round trips to the database as most of the computation is done at database level only and results sent back to the Application layer.
<b>Thus for a simple JOIN OPERATION makes a single DATABASE call.</b>

Skype group call problem

So I was in a group today and hanged up, I come back and now I can't hear anyone. when I make one on one calls I can hear people. I don't understand whats going on I need help

Ipod Touch-WIFI Problems-Can't Connect More than One at Same time

I'm not an Ipod Touch user yet, but three family members are. Unfortunately, only one will connect to the Internet on our home wifi at a time. Each one works just fine on its own and will make the connection, but if one is already turned on it blocks the others. I have a laptop and it connects fine regardless of the Ipod Touch issues. I'm using a Linksys router if that matters. Looked everywhere but can't find someone experiencing similar issues. Thanks for any ideas/thoughts/help!

Take a look at your router's settings for DHCP. Normally there is range associated for the allocation of IP addresses for wireless devices. For example, you would set DHCP to on, IP address range from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.128. The normal defaults on the router should have given you an adequate range of address but you may have inadvertently changed something.

Can I add a caller DURING a group call?

I am aware that if someone calls me with Skype during a group call, I can bring them into the group right away by simply accepting their call. However, how does one make it work in the other direction? When I am on a group call, and the group decides it would like to bring a non-group member in, how is that done? Steve112

While on a call you can use the "add call" or "Contacts" buttons to get to the Contacts app. You can then add a new contact or add or edit numbers in existing contacts. (If the keypad is showing, press "hide" to see the other buttons.) Press the green bar at the top of the screen to return to the phone screen. If you are not using the headset, you can switch to speakerphone first, so you can talk while doing this.
If you want to use another app while on the phone, press the home button, then choose the app. It won't disconnect the call. If you have a CDMA carrier (Sprint, Verizon) you won't be able to use cellular data while on a call.

Group call crashes

It's been so long since I experienced this problem,
Everytime I join a group call it would just crash and turn off.
And when I try to rejoin and click "join call" it would basically turn off everytime.
The one initiating the call would share her screen with us, so we can talk about it and stuff.
There's about 4 people in the group call, which is not much.
But I really want to know why it isn't working.
Because when I ask the others, they would always respond that the call worked perfectly,
And I would always be the one experiencing this problem.
I've tried logging out, and signing back in, restart the computer, even reinstall it.
I tried using my account on a different computers as well but it never workd.
I would update Skype everytime there is a new update.
So currently, it is on the very recent update.
Please help.

Skype weird group call

everytime i get added in a group call, whenever i press join. Everyone is quiet and i never connect to the call... it just ends and i have to click join call every single time and nothing happens until like 15 minutes till it connects...
(This happens to everyone such as my friends too, not just me)

We had similar experience this week namely October 07, 2014. My family had a group call between 3 continents on a birthday occasion. All 3 parties of this group call had the latest Skype version as of October 7, 2014. During the call, there were several interruptions and from time to time one or another family member's skype left the group call but then re-appeared, so the call continued and we were able to see each other and talk.
A few days after the call, by chance I looked at the call history and saw some strange names. So, I clicked on the history of that group call - and found to my amazement that 6 (six!) other parties were in that group call! One of them was from my contact list, 3 others from my family member's contact list and 2 other contacts were COMPLETE STRANGERS!!!
It feels awfully creepy and insecure that somebody was listening in to our fmaily conversation, without us knowing it. Skype should correct this problem immediately. Until then, I decided NOT TO USE group calls at all, it is unsafe and dangerous considering we can talk about our homes, money matters etc.

No sound from group call

So when I join a group call, I can't hear anything at all. Sound test and audio settings both work just fine, but the regular call doesn't. Everything else seems to work.

What phone do you have?
Here's a quick way to test if the reciever is working:
Open the Voice Memos app on the device.
Record a short message, press the Done button, and press Save when the app asks to name the recording.
If the speaker on the top right of the screen is blue, tap it so that it turns dark grey. This will make the recording go out the reciever.
Tap the recording on the bottom of the screen, and tap the play button. If you can hear the recording, the reciever works fine. If not, you should take the phone to an Apple Store, or call Apple Support.

Can't Join Group Call

So with the new update 6.16 I no longer can join to group calls. Always when i click join call it just shows the persons who are in the call and then the call ends. I tried everything i found at forums none of them helped (I tried to download older versions etc.) So Please im getting really angry about this so could some1 please help me?

Can't join group calls, please help.

The subject, whenever I try to join group calls I get my friends' names, profile pictures, and a loading/connecting sort of animation shown in the attachment, and then I don't even join the call, it just closes and skype stops showing the people in the call. I can call my friends individually just fine, but whenever I try to join the group call, it doesn't even let me in for a second.

AND YOU DIDN'T MOVE A FINGER TO FIX THIS FU CKING ANNOYING BUG.
As I've said in that post, your ridiculous fix didn't work, and I have to ask call creator to close call for everyone and create a new one everytime I need to rejoin it.
Do the work you're paid for, please.

Joining group call can't hear other people

I have looked over my setting multiple times and I can hear everything else on my computer but I join a group call and I can not hear the other people in it and it happens with other people as in like when other people join after a certain point I guess you just cant hear it anymore and we end up having to restart call like 5 times until everyone is finally able to hear again if anyone has any ideas on how to fix please tell

I am having this issue too. When I initially join the call, everything is fine but if I need to drop out for any reason, when I return, I cannot hear their voices. They can hear me, but it takes a total restart of my computer - not just the Skype application - before I can hear anything on their end.
