deggie is correct. also depending on the urgency and no# of SMS, you can take a sceen shot then print those photos.

I have lost all of my email and texts from my Z10. Furthermore I have lost all my email (Gmail) from 15 November until today period; when I sign into Gmail on my desktop it is gone as well, nothing in the Trash bin even. I have not updated the software recently nor have I added any new apps, I'm really at a loss. The only odd behaviour I noticed happened this morning (which as far as I can tell is when I lost the info), when I woke up I had an Amazon email - as I do every morning - in my hub, the only correspondence to arrive overnight. When I tried to delete it I couldn't, the delete option would appear, I'd select it and then nothing would happen. I tried a couple of times and then gave up figuring I'd take a closer look at it later. When I came back to it a couple of hours later the email was gone along with all of my texts, BBM messages appear unaffected. Any ideas? Obviously the permanent loss of email is a show stopper for me.

It may be a corrupted file, you might try a security wipe.

or... put your photos in "My Pictures" in My Documents, and viola, itunes syncs it to the iphone. only one sentence needed =/

Not receiving texts from iPhone contacts when I'm not connected to wifi or cell data. I can't send and receive regular SMS texts with non iMessage users but iMessage users message are not being converted to text when I don't have internet connect

I can send and receive to any non iPhone user. I can send a message as a text to an iPhone user but if I'm not connected to cellular data or wifi I do not receive messages from iPhone contacts. From what I understand these message should automatically send to me as texts instead of iMessages but since the update it's not functioning properly. Please help. I've tried turning iMessage off and I still don't receive the messages until after I reconnect to wifi.

I have the same problem! Before the upgrade, if I wasn't connected to the internet, any messages sent to me from an iphone would convert automatically to a text message. I have payg tarriff, so I turn cell data off, as it costs too much to use it. I have wifi at home and work, but if I'm out and about, I don't receive texts from iphone users until I'm on wifi. If you have access you your old iPhone, just sign out of Messages. If you do not have access to it, then change your Apple ID password.

Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.

You can use Photo Stream to sync the photos and videos or you can use an app like DropBox: When you open the app in iPhone/iPad you can upload your Camera Roll to your DropBox folder (you need a DropBox Account) and later, in your iPad/iPhone, you can open the app again and download what you need.

ok so i just switched from an iphone after having 2 for 4 years and i got a motorola droid maxx 2 days ago. i am not receiving texts from iphone users and i dont know why. i gave verizon my phone and so i cant turn off imessage but i cleared the phone before i gave it to them. i have also changed my apple i.d. and i have deactivated all my products such as my mac book pro and my two previous iphones. this is exactly why i switched because apple has to be a CULT and make everything so complicated. please help me solve apples stupidity.

That was a asinine and catty response. I and many others have the same problem. turning off imessage is not an effective solution. I have turned off imessage, deactivated the phone with apple and wiped the phone clean. the problem persists.

Well yes, but if you want to update those apps, you'd need to sign in under your old Apple ID to update them. It's really best to just stick to one Apple ID, or you'll run into association complications down the road.

Hi Go to Settings email accounts delete each account then add back again. Text messages are run by your network provider check with them for that problem. Cheers Brian

Bad link spammed my contacts by email and text

I opened a spam link that came in as a text from a bogus number on my iPhone 4. It then propagated itself by immediately sending the same link out to several of my contacts by email AND text. I thought the iPhone was not susceptible to viruses? Do I need to wipe my phone now?

iMessage No texts from iPhones or iPads. I have an 4s with no data plan since wifi is very available where I live. iMessage works fine through Wifi, both sending and getting texts and sends out my messages through SMS if there is no wifi. But it cannot get texts from iPhones or iPads through SMS. The other iPads and iPhones automatically recognize my phone, its Apple ID and get the blue bubble. So they automatically send messages out via iMessage not SMS. When this happens I do not get the texts on my phone unless I amconnected to Wifi. So I will never get any messages sent by other iPhones with Apple Id. I get messages from other phones but not iPhones. When I get into a wifi zone I get all the messages that were sent.
I have spoken to Apple twice and was told the only work around is to get a data plan.
I have tried turning off iMessage, no help, taken my email address off the message send and receive options, I have done a network reset and a reboot all to no avail. So as long as other iPhones get that blue bubble from my iPhone I will never get texts from them because they are sent out as data not SMS.
It seems that the iPhone cannot tell if other iPhones have a data connection available or not.
Anyone else had any experience with this situation?

How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

Turn off iMessage on the old iPhone.
Restore the iPhone as new.
Have the other iPhone users delete the current message thread, and start a new messae to you.
Have the other iPhone users delete your contact, then re-add it.
Go to ww.icloud.com and remove the device from your Find My iPhone.
Go to appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and/or password.
Contact Apple Support at getsupport.apple.com for further assistance if these steps don't work.
Wait about 30 days for the iMessage server to self-correct the issue.
