They both have to be free floating objects ie an image/shape/table/chart/textbox not inserted in the text.

How to protect image and text from page break

Hi
I have set on a smartform a single row which contains two columns. The first column has an image, and the second has some text. I want the program to send the whole row to the next page if it does not fit the page, instead of breaking it up in separate portions. I already set the line break protection in Table > Details, but that did not work. Also, if i go to the output options in the text, the option to protect from break is not enabled. How can I do this?

How do I reformat the size of images and text on page to fit in normal full screen?

Recently my computer crashed due to age. I can reboot the system and have done so reinstalling all programs using Windows. I have Firefox that I use but my homepage is set to aol as this is my email address. IT was on Sunday evening Dec. 26th that my computer was rebooted after having been out of commission for a month. I just did not have time to do it sooner due to holidays. My problem is that when I got my homepage, which was the Mozilla Get Started introductory page, the images were absolutely huge. I can see what I am supposed to, however, it looks like the images have been zoomed in so many times. I don't like this. I want my pages to display images as normal size for full screen mode. I have tried using the View tab and choosing the zoom option, but it does virtually no good-if I zoom out you can still see things like images but print is too tiny and blurry. Again, never have I enlarged the font, pics, or anything else for the matter. I like my settings on fonts to be standard (10-14) depending on what I am seeing. I don't understand why this happened. This is the first time I am seeing this issue ever and need help. If I want to see all of my page I have to scroll horizontally and vertically in order to see it all. I want to see it all at one time. I have never encountered this problem before. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate someone contacting me soon via email of [email protected] denoting to me an appointment time I can log on and get live chat help for this. Please let me know if this can be done or if I need to just try to live with it. Thank you for you help in this in advance and I look forward to hearing from my pals at Firefox because the staff have always been very helpful in past issues needing help on my end. Have a Happy New Year of 2011. By the way, I know that the box below has options of stating when this has happened and how many times, but I can say it has happened only once being now. When I drag the item off of the trifold that I am creating, it just disappears but I still want to use it. I just need to move it out of the way to modify other portions of the document.

Add another page below the current one to use as a storage area. You can't use the grey area around the page for storing items you want to use later.
Go to the Pages Menu>Provide Pages Feedback if you would like to request this feature be added in future versions.

Why Are My Text Align Buttons Grayed Out?

My users are unable to center text when edited pages in CS3 and CS4. The standard paragraph alignment buttons are grayed out.
All the users of my site have Admin role, and I have set up the role to allow unrestricted editing. And "Allow Users to Apply Styles"... At screenshot of some of my settings is attached. I don't see why Contribute is not allowing this basic element to work.

I experienced the very same issue, but found an interesting quick-fix that worked for us.
Several of my webpage content managers reported that they could not change the text alignment in pages created using Dreamweaver nested templates. We use nested editable regions in order to restrict portions of the pages (i.e. banners and navigation menus) from being edited.
I found that Contribute CS4 could realign text in some parts of the affected pages, but not others.
Further exam revealed that Contribute could change the alignment on any text that was inside a table on those pages. If I inserted a table and then cut-n-pasted the problem text into the table, the text lost its style/formatting, but it could then have its alignment changed.
Any text not inside a table could not have the alignment changed by Contribute and changing its style/formatting made no difference.
One note though: It was interesting that after pasting the text into a table, if I selected a chunk of text, the alignment buttons grayed out again. However, if I simply clicked on the line of text (did not select it), the buttons remained active and the text alignment could be changed.
I don't know why it is happening. The nested regions were working fine, or so I thought, until recently.
The above is a quick-fix and got my page content managers back online, but I'm still searching for a long-term solution if anyone has one.

Combining image and text in accordion content panel

Hello,
I'm having difficulty displaying image and text together within an accordion content panel. What I need is a thumbnail photo of a staff member plus a short bio. I've put a panel together so it displays as needed in Live View, but not in IE8, Foxfire8, or Chrome. I'm using Dreamweaver 5.5, Spry 1.6.1, Windows 7.
Here's the code for the panel that includes an image not displaying:

This is the markup from your document <img src="/images/StanSwiercz.jpg"/> which means that the image is located in the images folder which is located in the root directory.
Hence the image cannot be found by your document.
The following are possible solutions, please choose one only
change the location of the images folder to reside in the root directory
delete the leading slash from the link as in <img src="images/StanSwiercz.jpg"/>
change the link to an absolute value as in <img src="http://cet-training.org/Test%20folder/images/StanSwiercz.jpg"/>

How do I save image and text as a single image in InDesign CS5.0?

How do I save an image and text as one image in InDesign CS5.0? NOT 5.5.
I need to save the image as a 72-dpi, jpg file for ePub purposes. I designed a book and am handing it off to someone for ePub.
This is what I've tried:
1) Copied from InDesign, pasted into a PhotoShop doc as a Smart Object. Saved it as 72 dpi jpg, then imported back into ID.
2) Took a screenshot of ID page, placed it in PS, saved as 72 dpi, imported into ID
3) Saved page as a PDF from InDesign, then saved PDF as 72 dpi jpg, then imported into ID.
4) Save page as a PDF from InDesign, placed into Photoshop and saved
as 72 dpi, then imported into ID.
5) Saved as an EPS from InDesign, placed in PS, then imported back to ID.
In all cases, the type looks terrible. It doesn't seem to matter whether I copy or place into Photoshop, though placing is slightly better.

Naturally what you did will result in rasterized text. Did you preview with high quality settings?
Are you sure the people who will handle that downstream need pixel images and do you have the exact pixel dimensions needed?
Why did you place the image back in Indesign, by the way?

How do I get Facebook to show the image and text I want displayed?

When I want to post a link to one of my sites on Facebook it automatically picks up image and text to display. My question is how do I control which image and text are displayed?
I have had a look around the web and there is a lot of infomation about metadata etc, but I just want a nice simple tutorial if that is at all possible.

I just used one of my Muse test pages [test-1] to test this.
It seems to work.

After editing an image in Photoshop it appears grayed out inside the media browser

After editing an image in Photoshop it appears grayed out inside the media browser when I try to import into Facebook (ie.).
What has to be done in order for me to be able to select my edited images from Photoshop whithin any media browser?

I'll answer just this one little question. Try to get your mind around what color management does, I promise it does make sense (outside of unexplained problems on particular computers).
You want to save your web image with the sRGB profile embedded because some Internet browsers are color managed, and with an embedded profile it's more likely someone will see your image colors just as you intended.
The assumption is that a lowly windows user with a cheap monitor and Internet Explorer will be seeing any image you save as "roughly" sRGB anyway. Tagging the image with sRGB only affects those with color-managed browsers.
You're looking for the most possible consistency for the viewing audience.

There is an ignore EXIF setting Preferences. I can't remember if that is Bridge or Photoshop, but IIRC it is for DNG files.
Right. Check Photosho > Preferences > File handling and make sure 'Ignore EXIF tag, is not checked. I think that might do it, so long as it refers to sidecare files, because only RAW files would have one.

Thumbs with Large Image and Text/Links

Hi,
I am running some script on the link below to try and get a look of when you click a thumbnail the large image and text that goes with it changes with each different thumb. I am able to do that right now, but not to the affect that I want.
Ideally I would like all the text to be on the right hand side of the image with spacing and links, but I seem to only be able to get the text to show itself on the bottom of the picture right now. I think I need to approach it in a different way then I am currently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When replying to a discussion, the images and text are being cutted and moved over

Hi, using a community site in SP2013, when you post a discussion (ask and discuss) you have all the text and images displayed correctly. But, when you reply to the post and then, your name is added to the post, the image and text are somehow cutted. I played
with the options like lock ratio and everything, but it doesn't seem to work, I also played with the webpart options, but, it is not working, the idea is to feed the text and images into the whole respond to the post. Have you seen this issue or behavior before?.

Anyone know the replacement class for ImageListModel, or NameandPictureListModel, that show an image and string text description for choices in JList or JComboBox, in v.1.4.1?

The document is part of a job application that is suppose to be digitally signed and submitted soon. I have thought about printing, signing, and redigitizing to submit, however, the cells are statically sized and do not expand to include all of the information when printed.

I am trying to build a site and know little about coding. I
want my pictures and text to line up accordinly with whatever size
window I have open. I heard of a relative percentage code like
image resizes to 75% of the screen but I dont know how this works.
Is there any other way to keep everything on page aligned with the
changing screen size that Im not thinking of and how do I do it?

It's difficult to imagine what type of alignment you are
referring to.
Do you mean to align the top of the image with the first line
of text?
Keep text and images the same distance from each other?
Keep the image and text aligned in the center of the page?
Remember that text will be different sizes depending on the
text setting in
the users browser, but the image will be the same size.
It's virtually impossible to keep text aligned with an image
unless the text
is an image, too. You don't want that though.
You could apply a % to image size, but that usually makes the
image look
terrible, and might not be affected by or be the same ratio
as text size
determined by a browser setting..
Can you post a link to a picture of what you are trying to
do, or a link to
a site that has the same type of alignment you are trying to
have?
