Grrrr....browser that fully supports flash/java?????

when will the default browser FULLY support java and flash? many sites i've come across wont work and say "download java" or flash? shipping a product without a fully functional browser is unacceptable! Also its highly annoying when mobile sites keep loading! this is a laptop replacement....why would they ship it with a stupid mobile browser??? ebay absolutely wont work properly, many gaming sites like pogo just wont work because of poor java/flash support. also on a side note, editing text is attrocious! why no **bleep** arrow keys???? another note, firefox and opera are at best in alpha stage and are much, much worse! im very disappointed in toshiba for making their customers guinea pigs...no properly working browser? SOD problems? Force Closes on that stupid ltdolservice thingy? What is up with you guys....REALLY?

Don't like it the browser on mobile? Why not change the settings to desktop? Want a keyboard with arrows? Why not download one from the market? Flash not showing up? Have you bothered to check for the Flash update?

It is the other way as it is Kaspersky that supports Firefox. You cannot expect any Firefox version to just support the thousand of extensions out there.
Unlike the vast majority of extensions which if compatible with Firefox 10.0 or even 4.0 they should usually still work fine. Extensions like these by Kaspersky needs to be compiled for each new Firefox version due to binary.

Browser Not Fully Supporting App

I tried to use an app for the nhs eportfolio which I use for work, but it comes up showing my browser doesn't fully support it so it doesn't work very well.
Is there any update i can use to allow it to run better?

Adobe never made a version of Flash for iOS and closed their mobile flash division a couple of years ago. You can get Flash on other personal devices but you will be using a 2 year old version that has not been patched for security vulnerabilities.
When the original iPhone was released Mr. Jobs said it would never run Java as it was old technology and a security risk. Nothing has changed since.

Hi im trying to view a simple report , this report have some parameters from a MS Access database.I configure everything, The ODBCJDBC bridge, the dns System on Windows, etc... and the problem its like this, I connect the database, but the schema its empty , i cant map, the dinamic parameters of my report, with my access database.I have this errors : at same time 1. Thanks for your feed back. I could see Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel.dll to add as reference to my project. Actually I can open generated rdlc in designer, at run time I get error. I could not make out where is the exact mistake out of three
options flashed.

or contain content that is not well-formed or not valid based on Reporting Services schemas
Details: Data at the root level is invalid
My web config has following references

Hi im trying to view a simple report , this report have some parameters from a MS Access database.I configure everything, The ODBCJDBC bridge, the dns System on Windows, etc... and the problem its like this, I connect the database, but the schema its empty , i cant map, the dinamic parameters of my report, with my access database.I have this errors : at same time 1. This report uses a data connection that isn't fully supported by this version of the Crystal Reports designer. You can modify the report in the designer, but the following actions that access this connection will fail: Browse data, verify database, and report preview. We recommend you set the datasource location to a JDBC or Java Result Set data source. 2. There are some other solutions possible.
1. Get another driver. The only one known is java only so it wont crash. But is not not free.
2. Use a proxy driver. That means that another app actually does the database work. If it crashes you just start it again (which you can do in your main code.) That way it won't take down your server. There are commercial jdbc drivers that claim MS Access but are are really just proxy implementations as an option in this area.

You can't use Flash in AWT or Swing, if that was what "support" meant in that question. Flash is only a browser plug-in as far as I know.

Try using FireFox. IE will only run on a Mac if you run Windows on the Mac.
Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows 7 or Windows 8. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
VM Fusion and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. Not to sounds rude, but this issue has been covered so much in the media that I find it hard to believe that people still don't know. However all iOS devices, never and will never support flash natively. Google "apple adobe flash war". There are some alternatives, try skyfire browser in the app store. Not perfect but might help. None the less, most sites these days support html5 video which runs on iPad. I am actually having hard time running across a site which doesn't support iPad. however that is my personal experience based on my personal interests.

Some sites may be mistakenly identifying Firefox 20 as Firefox 2, which is a very old version they probably no longer support. As a test, you could "lie" to the site about your Firefox version and see whether that little deception works.
This take a minute to set up. Here's how:
(1) Select and copy the following preference name to the clipboard:
general.useragent.override.elance''.''com
(2) In a new tab or window, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(3) In the filter box, type '''override''' and pause while the list is filtered
(4) Make sure '''general.useragent.site_specific_overrides''' is set to its default value of true (or right-click and choose Reset if it is not).
(5) Right-click anywhere in the preference list area and choose
New > String
then paste the preference name you copied. Click OK and enter TEMP or asdf or any text as a temporary placeholder. You should see the preference added in bold. Leave about:config open and switch back to this tab.

And my browser (IE 6) cannot go to any java links. They either don't load or they are blank pages. I tried installing java, enabling them on the internet options, and even installed a new browser it is still the same thing!!!

JavaScript is different from Java. Somehow, security has gotten turn on in IE. If you go to tools, internet options, security, then look at Internet (for hotmail anyway), hit the custom level button, you will see that scripting has been disabled.

Grrrr....browser that fully supports flash/java?????
