Searching for a server that does not exist on boot up
Hi all,
I keep getting the following box pop up on start up, every time, I was wondering how I could stop the MacBook from looking for 192.168.0.8. I does not need to connect to this address anymore - it is currently my PC though this changes depending on the order things have been switched on or off.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/tom1502/ScreenShot2014-03-27at153523_zpsc 810bdd2.pngHello Tom,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your MacBook Pro trying to automatically connect with the server. Have you checked to see if this server is listed in your Login Items in System Preferences?
I recommend removing this item if you see it listed in Login Items using these steps:
Add or remove automatic items
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.
Select your user account, then click Login Items.
Select the name of the item you want to prevent from opening automatically, then click Delete "-" below the list on the right.
Find the article here:

Boot image does not exist and cannot read disk label errors.
Hi - I'm having a problem with installing Solaris 9 4/04 on a Netra T1. The Netra already has Solaris 7. I need to get this set up as a jumpstart server but it can't find the boot image. I'm using a brand new bonafide installation disk - not a copy. The system won't let me install/upgrade to Solaris 9 either. I get an error stating that disk label can't be read. I've tried swapping out the CDROM but I still get the same errors. Does anyone know what or why this may be happening? (Oh - and another strange thing - like I said the CDs are the original but there doesn't appear to be a cdrom/cdrom0/s0 directory. The directory I see is cdrom/cdrom0/sol_9_404_sparc/Solaris_9/Tools)
ERROR: Install boot image /cdrom/sol_9_404_sparc/Solaris_9/Tools/Boot does not exist

I appreciate any help at all - is there anyone out there who can tell me what I may be doing wrong?
ThanksHi check that you are booting of the right cd. Make sure it is soalris 9 software 1/2 if that fails then it may well be that your cd is buggered. most likely it is buggered it it cant find the boot image.

[Solved]Unable to boot /sbin/init does not exist.
When I boot, I get this message: ERROR: Root device mounted successfully, but /shin/init does not exist. This is an installation that was working fine for me before. I went into Windows to free up disk space, and when I booted Arch later, this is what came up. I have already tried using the live disk as a rescue, but I am unable to chroot into it. I have checked my partitions with a live disk and my files are still there. Is there any way that I can fix this without reinstalling Arch? I have a lot of things that I cannot reinstall right now as I don't have access to the internet currently, and I am using my phone to access the forum.

Error while creating folder: Path is invalid because folder does not exist
Hi,
I am having an issue while creating Folders in ID, when I create folder Structure like EDI -> VENDOR -> DELL I am getting the error as below:
Path /EDI/VENDOR/DELL/ is invalid because folder VENDOR does not exist
So first 2 levels of folder structure is fine and when I create third level (DELL) I get the above error. Any idea how to resolve this or is this the limitation?
We have
Service Pack:06

Thanks,
LaxmanHi Laxman,
Kindly try to refresh the SLD cache by going to Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache. Make sure that the Cache Status are all in green.
Hope this would help.

Seeing this error in the apache log:
File does not exist: /export/home/oracle/orahtml/marvel/images/spacer.gif
I know there are spacer.gif files under the theme folders but why is it looking for a spacer.gif file in the images folder? Is this a bug?Hello,
Yes I just checked it's a problem with theme 9 there are a couple of places where the theme calls #IMAGE_PREFIX#spacer.gif when it should call #IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_9/spacer.gif
There are two ways for you to fix this
1. Copy themes/theme_9/spacer.gif to the top level images directory, I recommend this one because then if someone creates the theme from the repository again it wont' come up agian.
2. Change all #IMAGE_PREFIX#spacer.gif to #IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_9/spacer.gif in theme 9, if you export the theme you can just us a search and replace the export to do this and then reapply the theme.
This as been bugged and will get fixed in future version.

Web Dynpro image not found: The requested resource does not exist
Hi everybody,
I'm experiencing a strange Poltergeist, so I would like to cry out the issue and hope any kind sould could help me
In my WebDynpro application, I show a JPG picture which is located in the own project, that means in "src/mimes/Components/metromadrid.net.formacion.Cursos". The image appears correctly in my Development environment, but when the activity is moved to the Consolidation System (I'm using JDI), the image doesn't appear. If I try to access it directly, via URL, the messagen shown is "404 Not found: The requested resource does not exist.." (the URL accessed is http://hostname:port/webdynpro/resources/metromadrid.es/formacionapp/Components/metromadrid.net.formacion.Cursos/foto_vacia.jpg)
The point is that in the same Consolidation environment I have already some applications with images, which are found and loaded without any problem.
I have checked if the image appears in the corresponding active repository and everything seems alright (I mean I can see the file there).
Any idea? It would be really appreciated, since my time to solve the problem expires in few days...
Thank you very much in advance!!
Isidro LopezHi Isidro,
your mime files were most probably not added to your NWDI activities when developing your Web Dynpro DC. This means when adding these mime files to the src/mimes/<comp package>.<Comp name> folder the Web Dynpro Tools have most probably not detected the new mime files. When testing your application on in your local development environment all images appear as they exist on your local file system. As missing mimes do not cause a CBS build failure you won't encounter a designtime error.
Please check whether the corresponding mimes are listed as 'local only' (house symbol) in your DTR perspective. In case they are listed as 'local only' you must explicitly add them to an activity.
I have also encountered this missing mime problem before but I have not started any investigation to really determine the reason for it.
Best regards, Bertram -
Design Studio - Display a dummy image when searched photo does not exist
hello,
I would like to display an employee photo, which should be searched on the server folder with URL.
Each photo name in my folder is : "employeeId.png".
But some employees do not have a photo, and in this case I try to display a dummy photo, which I have in the same folder with employee id 00000000.
My variables are :
- URLlink variable is global variable type URL, which gives a path to my folder with employees photos
- empnb variable is filled with employee id through getSelectedMember on cross table
- filename variable to search a photo on the server
- filename0 variable for those employees for which photo does not existe
I tried to test the existence of an employee photo with getHeigh() method or getImage() method, to check if a photo filename set in Image1 is a real
one. Cause if a photo does not exist, the Design studio put by default a small black cube inside Image.
Unfortunatelly these tests are not working .
My script:
var filename = URLlink + empnb + ".png"; // existing employee photo
var filename0 = URLlink + "00000000" + ".png"; // dummy profile photo
IMAGE_1.setImage(filename); //Try to put a photo found on the server
var height = IMAGE_1.getHeight();
if (height == -1)
{ IMAGE_1.setImage(filename0); }
else {IMAGE_1.setImage(filename);}
Does anyone have other idea how to test if a photo exist or not in my folder.
Many thanks!
BeaI do not think it is possible today (at least not via checking of the image size). Such function would require
* code extension in image component -> boolean IMAGE.exists()
or
* could be made by custom image implementation via design studio SDK. This custom image would send a request via Ajax and check response status. in case not existing some dummy images would be placed.
for both options there are no plans as of today.
the only option I see today is to generate in the folder "dummy" images for all employes who do not have any real image. -

HI,
I am working on oracle 10g multimaster replication.

I more problum i am facing is when i stopped ( quiesced ) the replication activity.
my stored procedures on the master site start giving error like
sqlcode =*-23326* sqlerrm=*ORA-23326: object group "PUBLIC"."MYREPGRP" is quiesced*it means if i stop replication my database will not work while i am using asynchronous
replication.
i want my master database to work in any situation either replication is working or not.
ThnaksMake sure the replication object you want to drop really exists.
check dba_repobject and dba_objects views.
select sname, oname, type, status, gname
from dba_repobject
where oname='AC_CHECK'
[pre]select owner, object_name, object_type
from dba_objects
where object_name='AC_CHECK'
Regarding ORA-23326.
This error occurs if the replication status is QUIESCED and you want to execute DML transaction against a replicated object.
While the replication status is QUIESCED no DML transactions are allowed against the replication objects.
Usually you want to stop the replication (suspend the master activity) if you want to perform maintenance activities (drop/add rep objects). This should be done in off hours and should be planned. You should be aware that no DML transactions are allowed while the master activity is suspended.
Also be aware that when you try to suspend the activity, the database will try to push and apply all the pending transactions. This may take some time (depends on the size of the transactions). So it is good practice to make sure there are no transactions that are waiting in DEFTRANDEST queue.
If you want to read more how the QUIESCED state affects the database activity, please refer to the following link:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14226/repmaster.htm#sthref260

Invalid refnum. object id does not exist
I've found that when a channel is created without signal data, then the 'ID to refnum.vi' cannot find that channel and gives the following error:
Error -2569
LabVIEW: LabVIEW cannot convert the object ID into a valid refnum. An object with this ID does not exist in the data storage file.
However, the 'Read Data.vi' and 'Get Properties.vi' and everything else works fine. Interestingly, if a channel is made with signal data, then the channel is overwritten without signal data, then 'ID to refnum.vi' works fine, even though the ID remains persistent in both cases.
I've included a simplified example of code that produces this error. 'Refnum to ID.vi' produces a valid ID but 'ID to refnum.vi' can't find it in the file.
Am I assuming something wrong here?
thanks,
Louis

storage error.vi 99 KBHi..
I dnt get anything when i see the error, its like somewhere standard error. And are you trying to scroll horizontal or vertical scroll?
Any way, we can achieve scrolling through one application parameter called wdtablenavigation and its value is SCROLLBAR.
then you will get scroll bar for all tables in your component.
Once you double click on appplication, you will find parameters tab, there pass the above values.

PowerOn Failed Error: Domain Does Not Exist
[Simon Thorpe's blog |http://blogs.oracle.com/simonthorpe/2009/07/migrating_a_vmware_server_2_wi.html] I'm new to OracleVM. If this is a linux guest, try running xm create -c vm.cfg from the ECM_Xmonth_2010_vm directory to start the guest with the console immediately attached. You may be able to see a boot/GRUB related error. If this is a Windows guest, you could start it paused with xm create -p vm.cfg and then attach a VNC console. Once you have a VNC session, you can resume the guest and it will begin booting.
