GS70-2PE - All video outputs are on damn intel gpu. :((((

Is there any chance to disable intel GPU? My friend takes 4k@60hz output over a simple HDMI cable with his ASUS N56vz computer. Because HDMI port is on the nvidia gpu. But with this very expensive computer I can only see 3 options in the nvidia control panel. I cant even see stereoscopic 3d options. Do you have any suggestion? Can I take hdmi output through nvidia GPU?

if you want a laptop to fully use Nvidia then try finding a dual gpu laptop like Y510P from lenovo that has GT750M SLI which disables intel gpu and puts 1 of them as main gpu and other 1 as sli gpu or you can maybe go for Nvidia GT80 that has 2 gpu's if i understood so then it should act like Y510P from lenovo to be nvidia as main only and not using optimus switch.

Adobe Media Encoder All Video Output 'White'

Hi all,
I am attempting to use Adobe Media Encoder to export a QT h264 optimized for upload to facebook from a QT file exported 'Same as Source' from Avid MC 5.0.3, whic would be 1080i60 1920x1080. The source file playsback correctly in QT player or VLC, but even the output preview screen in AME shows only a white image.
I've also tried converting a completely different QT file created in Premiere Pro, with the same white video output issue. I've tried opening/closing AME with no luck, but hte last time I used it I didn't have any problems and was able to produce the desired end result.
Thoughts?

Yes you are correct in assuming the two software packages are on different machines. I am using Premire Pro CS5 5.0 and Avid Nitris DX MC 5.0.3 And no, I do not believe I have installed any Avid Codecs. I just followed your link, will download and do so now. I'm assuming this will fix the bug, but if not I will let you know.

Why does Firefox not respond to any commands (it wouldn't even want to close) when I try to watch a stremline video from a webpage although all video-plugins are updated? The problem occured spontaneously, no changes were made to the system/settings.

Firefox does not crash but it 'freezes'. I cannot do anything with it then (it may be closed only from the task manager). Upon each subsequent opening the problem reappears (the fourth day in a row).

Haroon mentions two solutions. I used the easier one, which is to start the Apache webserver already in Mountain Lion and to enable the php already in Mountain Lion. It worked. I see the file correctly displayed with html, css, and php. I see the page by using Firefox. I enter an address in the address bar. For example, the address might be "localhost/example/example.php". I cannot see the page by using Firefox's "Open File ..." menu option or by dragging the file's icon onto Firefox's icon. I tried using your solution also but was unable to find the specific preference to modify. I found the page of preferences which may be modified but I could not find the one I need. I found a list of descriptions of the preferences at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_About:config_Entries
but I could not find the specific preference which I need.
By the way, to enable loading the php module, one uncomments a line of code by deleting the initial "#" character, and one does that by pressing control key and "P" key while the cursor is over the "#" character.
Also by the way, when I use Firefox or Safari to look at the Apache web directory in which my files are, the files are listed case sensitively. For example, the files are listed: Ace, Zygote, bar. This is because lower case follows upper case. THis annoys me. I prefer case insensitive listing. When I llok directly athe directory without using a browser, the files are listed case insensitively. For example, they are listed: Ace, bar, Zygote. I guess taht Apache is doing this.

The video controls on all videos are missing at hte bottom

Perhaps someone can help me with my problem - for the past few weeks, all video controls are missing from the bottom of all videos - You Tube, Comedy Central, NBC - I've upgraded to the latest Adobe Player, upgraded my video card and checked off the hardware accelorator button. Nothing happens. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Several smartform outputs are included in an output request

In SAP help there is an example :
SF_EXAMPLE_03 whereby several customers are selected in the application program; the form is called for each customer and all form outputs are included in an output request. But there is no print-program given.
Wrt the above eg. I am facing the same problem to print the payslips for all the employees under single print request.
The smartform made is in a loop called for each employee, but it is required that the print button once pressed shall print the O/P of all the forms for all the selected employees (in the loop).
The control_parameters and output_options in the stmnt:
CALL FUNCTION /1BCDWB/SF00000233 is concerned with the O/P criteria of the smartform being called in that loop pass; whereas I want to bunch all of the smartforms called in the loop in one print command.
Can u pl provide the help as to how to proceed in my case to print for all the employees.

There is a parameter TDNEWID (OUTPUT_OPTIONS I think), if this is set to X, it will trigger a new spool request for every time you are executing the smart form. Else, it will bundle all the request coming out of one program in to one spool id.
So, just set that to X and your problem should be solved.

Inspiron 3847 losing video output to HP w2207h via HDMI and Analog upon Restart

I recently purchased an Inspiron 3847 and hooked it up to an HP w2207h monitor by VGA and HDMI. Twice I have installed new software and upon restart I lose all video output. The computer is running, but I am unable to get video to my monitor to use it.
I am not sure where to go from here, as I have hooked up my laptop to the monitor also by VGA and HDMI and the monitor works fine?

* Turn the Inspiron 3847 and the W2207H off
* Disconnect the VGA cable from both the Inspiron 3847 and the W2207H
* This leaves only the HDMI cable connecting the Inspiron 3847 to the W2207H
* Turn the Inspiron 3847 and the W2207H on. Does anything appear on the W2207H? If yes, allow it to boot all the way into windows
* When done, restart the Inspiron 3847. What happens?

Using both video outputs

I am using both video outputs on the back of the mini, VGA and HDMI. Thes VGA is running to a projector and the HDMI is running to a computer monitor. I am also running Bootcamp WINDOWS 7. When I power up the Mac, the computer monitor goes to sleep and defaults to the projector as the main monitor. If I power on the projector first, before powering the computer on and then power the MAC on, it recongnizes the computer monitor as the default monitor. Why can't the MAC mini recognize the computer monitor(HDMI) as the default when both video outputs are connected? HELP!

Try putting the setup in Extended Desktop Mode (Mirroring off) and make the Monitor the main or primary display as shown in the following article's

GS70 2PE Stealth Pro Direct 3D Problem

Hi guys, I just got my GS70 less than 24 hrs ago. I updated windows, installed Elder Scrolls Online and i couldnt launch it. Screen got stucked at during intro and has huge pixels all over the screen. Sometimes, the message Kernel Driver Display Error comes out at the bottom.
Updated graphics driver. Run game, still the same.
Restore factory settings. Run game, still the same.
Restore factory, update direct x, windows, and driver. Run game, still the same. Installed Bioshoch Infinite, run benchmark, tells me Direct 3D error. Im convinced something is wrong between the graphics card (870m) and the Direct X11 is the problem.
Anyone had this problem before?

MSI GE70 2PE: How to turn off onboard Intel GPU?

Hi everybody,
According to the system specifications my notebook must have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphic device. However, after installing Linux Mint 17 i noticed that the only video device available is an Intel GPU (integrated Intel GPU). When i enter my BIOS, i cannot find any option to disable the onboard Intel GPU, maybe i missed it somewhere. Can anyone tell me how i can disable the onboard (integrated) Intel GPU so i can utilize the NVIDIA graphic device.
All help/hint/tips will be very much appreciated!

I don't think this is the solution. If i want to use my NVidia graphic device, the Intel GPU must be disabled. Linux doesn't see the Nvidia graphic device at all right now and installs the driver for the Intel GPU as this is set as the default graphic device.

Ok, here goes - I hope you guys can help me...
I built a new setup last night, using the following components:

K9N2 SLI Platinum
OCZ Reaper HPC 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (2 x 2GB)
eVGA GeForce 9800 GTX (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready
Seagate IDE Hard Drive 120GB (not sure of model)
Windows XP Home Edition SP2 installed

I build the board, mount all components, then power on - board LEDs cycle through pattern, then land on all green. There is no video output at all during this process. I tried the PCI-E card, the onboard DVI, the onboard DVI without the video card installed.
During boot, I hear a beep that may be a long (sounds like a faint "power on" beep), and then two fainter beeps in quick succession. They don't seem to be in connection with one another.
During the boot, there is also little to no activity from the hard drive. The board reaches all green, then I hear the CPU fan spin faster, and the hard drive activates, then the board flashes to all red, and the reboot sequence begins again.
I've tried removing memory, seating just one stick, and swapping out for a second stick. The fact that the board reaches all green makes me think that everything is seated properly and functioning, but the fact that there is no video output (hence no way to access BIOS) is obviously troubling, plus the incapability of booting.
Questions - the 8-pin ATX power connection had a cover over four of the eight pins - why is that there? I connected an eight pin to the connector, should I have left the cover in place and just used a four?
I realize that using an older hard drive from a previous build is not the best idea, but I'm hoping it shouldn't be a factor this early in the boot process.
I have not flashed the CMOS yet - would that have any effect on the boot process? Again, getting to all green is promising, but the subsequent return to all red is... not.
I've looked through the forum as best I could, but didn't see any issue where the board got to all green, and then backtracked when starting up.
Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated...

Don't worry about the hard disk for now. You will need a new installation of Windows, but that would be next step.

Use the MSI forum tool. https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=116721.0 Impossible of course! Ask the store to update BIOS for you, or find an earlier, simpler compatible processor friend.
The single beep is a power-good signal. The two fainter ones are probably USB things attached.

Well blow me down & keelhaul me! I've solved my own problem. The issue appears to be that Apple won't sync Smart Groups from Address Book to the iPhone. I created a test group with a few dud contacts in Address Book; iTunes sync'ed then OK & as soon as I went into Contacts on iPhone, there suddenly was the Groups button appearing with 2 Groups - my Test Group + all Other contacts. Nice one apple - another undocumented feature! Looks like I have to do away with the Smart Groups feature & convert them all to normal Groups in Address book - bugga!

I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

It also takes time for the photos to be transferred out of your iPhone and into Photo stream on Apple's iCloud servers.
Note that this can't happen if your iPhone is not connected to a WiFi network:
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
iOS devices: New photos you take are automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
Macs: Any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
