GS70 STEALTH powerful tool "Hotkey Config"

Hey guys,
I've noticed that there are some people like me who only owns the previous GS70. (I feel quiet disappointed when I found out that SteelSeries Engine don’t work my GS70 Stealth:( )
Anyway, I've found one post from other forum and there is a guy sharing this tool called "Hotkey Config", it's like a SSE on GS70 Stealth.  http://benyouhui.it168.com/thread-5012260-1-1.html
Had it tested on my GS70 and it works better than I thought, so think might be a good idea to share with you guys.
It needs a special version of EC and Hotkey Config.
EC: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1qW0inRu
Hotkey Config: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1sjrYDI1
I've used it in LOL also Street Fighter 4 and have to say it works quiet good.
The delay between each key can be adjusted so I can gives combos easily in Street Fighter.
I’m still trying out on different games, will keep you guys update if I have any news.
PS: Anyone is also a fan of Street Fighter

So can i say this software "Hotkey Config" is equal to SSE?
or it's just for macro key setting?
SSE also provide 4 profiles which can be set with different macro key and backlight combination for users to use their NB depands on different scenario.
Does "hotkey Config" include this function too?
Except the keyboard backlight color is controlled by Keyboard LED Manager.
You can create profiles with different macro keys and use them in different scenarios like SSE does.

  • Slow boot after format on GS70 Stealth Pro

    Hi,
i reinstalled Windows 8.1 and now the boot time is notoriulsy longer, from almost instantaneously to 5-6 seconds. I know isn't too long, but annoyed me coming from 1-2 seconds.
Fast Boot is activated in Bios and same for fast startup in Windows...
All drivers, SCM and firmwares are updated.
    Any ideas?
    thx
    GS70 Stealth Pro
    2x128gb ssd Raid from Factory.

actually fast boot is not cache system but windows 8/8.1 has support for fast boot which means it doesent take long to load but if laptop powers it self off after a while when it has been in sleep mode then it goes into mode where it cache your data in RAM or something so when you power laptop back on it will say Please wait. or Resuming Windows. thats when cache system was used but if you power laptop 100% off then it does not cache anything.

GS70 Stealth get "Top Product" award from PC Games Hardware Magazine in Germany. (Date: Dec, 2013)
"Powerful, flat, light as a feather": PC Games Hardware does in its latest edition compete against each other 12/2013 five extra-compact gaming notebook. The clear winner from the comparison of the MSI GS70 is clear.
    [Conclusion]
With the GS70 MSI definitely offers the best Gaming Notebook with compact housing. Therefore we’re awarding the Notebook with our Top-Product-Award.
The GS70 offers 16 GByte DDR3-RAM which makes the Notebook perfect also for RAM dependent applications. Also the mass memory is optimized for highest performance: Two SSDs with 128 GByte each in Raid 0 and a 1 TByte HDD are integrated into the housing of the GS70. [...] the SSD systems shows a transfer rate of 1.017,5 MB/s for reading.
You can play the newest Games with this Notebook without any limitation. We're also surprised by the great Sound of the Speaker System which is integrated into the very thin body.

It's true that GTX970M is some nice graphics, which has pretty high C/P value.
during the gameplay of BF4 or Far Cry 4, it's all smooth with ultra high setting!
not to mention it's been embedded inside this slim portable notebook!

  • Premiere Titler - a Powerful Tool

The Titler in Premiere is basically a sub-application, within Premiere. It is a little bit word processor, has some of the attributes of Photoshop and Illustrator, with a tiny bit of InDesign, built in, and is very useful. It’s a very powerful tool, and is handy for adding Text, usually, but also Shapes and Lines to a Video.
Premiere comes with several templates for Titles, and though pre-made, can be altered in an almost limitless fashion, with the Tools in Titler.
Starting back a bit, Titles, created with Titler are not really images, though they have some attributes of a Still Image. For instance, their Duration can be set globally in Edit>Preferences>General>Still Duration, but can also be adjusted, by click+dragging on the Head, or the Tail of the Title, just like with a Still Image. Also, they are really synthetic video, so when added to the Premiere Timeline, will have a red line above them, indicating that they need to be Rendered (hitting the Enter/Return key) for smoothest playback. If they are placed over a Still Image, or Video, the same red line will appear, because they are basically an overlay, and their pixels will have to be blended with the pixels from the Asset underlying the Title. If the Title is the only Asset on the Timeline, at that point, then playback is probably not an issue, unless one animates the Title, with either Keyframing, or by applying an animation Preset. Then, to see that animation in the smoothest manner, Rendering might well be needed. For more information on Rendering, see this article: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3484339#3484339
When one creates a Title with Titler, they do not exist as physical Assets, like a Video Clip, or Still Image. Instead, they are just XML code in the Premiere Project file (PREL for PrE, or PRPROJ for PrPro). That means that they are forever editable, unlike a Title created as a Still Image, in say Photoshop, and Imported into Premiere.
When a Title is created, it appears in Premiere’s Project Panel. It can be used many times, as an Instance of that Title is what is placed onto the Timeline. That means, however, that if one uses multiple Instances of a Title, any change made to any of those, or the Title in the Project Panel, will be made to ALL Instances.
Often, one will create a Title, and then wish to create others, based on that first Title. The method is to create a New Title, but base it on an existing Title. The exact steps differ between Premiere versions. In Premiere Elements, one would go to that Title in the Project Panel, Rt-click on it, and choose Duplicate. This will do just that - duplicate the Title, but instead of being an Instance of it, it will be a separate, unique Title. It can then be edited, as is needed. Titler will require that this Duplicate be named. In Premiere Pro, there is an icon in Titler, New Title Based on Current, that does the same thing, and the user will be required to name that new Title. Again, it can be edited, as necessary.
In Titler, everything that one sees is an Object, whether it is a Type Object, or a Shape Object (which can be a Line, as well). The Objects can be Selected (the Selection Tool is the “arrow” in the Titler Toolbar), Deleted, Moved, Copied and Pasted, or adjusted, say altering a Stroke, or a Fill, and with Text, the font, color and Styles.
One can also add Clip Art, or Images, into a Title. Those will be Objects too, and can be moved about, or deleted, as is required.
With a Type Object, one can also Select Text with the Type Tool. That can be used to Select and alter one character, or entire lines of text, by click+dragging.
As text can be either Point Type, or Paragraph Type. On the surface, they look the same, but behave in a slightly different manner. They are also created differently. With Point Type, one selects the Type Tool, clicks in the Title, and begins typing. To wrap Point Type, one needs to add a line break. With Paragraph Type, one selects the Type Tool, then click+drags in the Title, to create a Type Block. As they type in the text, or perhaps Paste it from a word processing document, the Type will Wrap, at the boundaries of the Type Block.
Now, various versions of Premiere offer some animation Presets, for Titles. However, those can be limiting, such as being limited to only one line of Text in PrE. One can create the same animations, but with much more control, if they Keyframe the Fixed Effect>Motion>Position (one can create Rolls and Crawls with this one Fixed Effect), and maybe others, depending on what one wants. Many, if not most, of the added Effects can also be added to Titles, and can also be Keyframed, to change things, over time.
One can also create Titles in Photoshop, and Import those into Premiere. In PrPro, there is an extra benefit from this, in that the Photoshop PSD can be created and then Imported, with the full Layer structure. In PrPro, this Import would be “As a Sequence,” where each individual Layer is Imported as a Clip (each can be animated separately), in a new Sequence.
The Premiere Titler is a very useful and versatile tool, and one’s use of it, plus Keyframed Effects, will only be limited by one’s imagination.

There are several tutorials on Adobe TV, regarding Titles. While they were created in Premiere Pro, most of the material applies to Premiere Elements too:

And I have one problem, when I play, use laptop, it doesn't use Nvidia Graphic Card as recommended.
When I go to Nvidia Control Panel, Global Settings> And I change to use automatically Nvidia Card, instead of Intel Integrated> than I click Apply, Control Panel get stuck for 2 sec, Not respondig for 1 sec, and return. Now it shows Nvidia Card as recommended, and when I close Nvidia Control Panel, and Open it again, it shows Intel Integrated as recommend, So why it Doesn't remember the settings. Anybody knows the issue? It's annoying in gaming laptop with GTX870 I can't use it.

  • GS70 Stealth Noob Question. Help?

I kinda have a noobish question. It has to do with the GS70 Stealth. So my laptop is old and I decided to buy a new one. I cam by an offer at this computer store close to me.
    Heres the offer
     http://www.mediamarkt.at/mcs/product/MSI-MSI-GS70---Gaming-Notebook,10255,252053,1051161.html
A little bit pricey, but oh well. So I'm not that much of a gamer, but I do usually play bf4 or bop2 or cod ghosts. Running them in medium graphics works for me. So I saw the GS70 has a GTX 765M, which is said to run games i stated above fine at High Graphics. Then I notice it was the core i7 with the clock speed of 2.4 Ghz.
Now, back to my noobish question, The offer nor the MSI official website say anything about "Intel Turbo Boost"
So my question is: Does the GS70's processor have Turbo Boost? OR has it been disabled by MSI ( if it can ). OR did they just not state it at all.

It has Turbo Boost. It just doesn't say it on the webpage.

  • GS70 Stealth Intel Rapid Raid Problems

    Hi everybody,
I bought my GS70 a year ago, and last month I decided to try the super raid that they talked about in the website. I already had an SSD almost since I bought it (actually I won a contest in the spanish forum about posting a review of a game using the GS70 :P) but I didn't have enough money to buy the second one.
I have configured the raid 0. Windows recognise it and I have tested it speed:
The pic shows my HDD speed, my first SSD alone and the Raid 0.
My problem is that since I have done it, Intel Rapid says that there is an error and it doesn't recognize the raid
Sorry about the spanish, but the Spanish forum doesn't exist anymore. I can translate the text if someone needs to understand clearly what it says.
    Thank you in advance

No, here is not the right board for your post. It should belongs to Gaming Notebooks.
Which GS70 model do you have? The GS70 Stealth?
Here is a tutorial made by MSI which you can have a look:
Make sure you didn't lost any set ups while creating the RAID 0 volume.
If your GS70 originally has the pre-installed system, then create the recovery media for the system restore after you installed the new SSD.
If you're using the windows installation disk, make sure you use the official drivers downloaded from MSI website.

  • GS70 Stealth - grainy screen?

    Hi,
I just received my new GS70 Stealth and, while I love everything about it, I can't help but notice that the screen is very grainy or dirty. I know this is the nature of most matte screens but I would like to make sure if it's normal in the MSI GS70? The graininess is mostly visible on white surfaces. Also, if it's normal, is there anything I can do to "tweak" it? I admit I'm still in the process of installing drivers etc. Haven't done any calibration yet, so I suppose that might help?
    Adam

I don't know. I'm not sure how to describe it. It looks like there's a film of water over the display. The "white" surface is slightly "rainbowy". It's subtle, but kinda irritating. Apart from this, or maybe because of this, the screen seems to be causing a lot of eye strain to me. The text seems kinda not sharp. Might be because I switched to Windows 8 also, I suppose.
Also, my space key is squeaking horribly -_- I have until monday to return the laptop or take a replacement. Any suggestions?

  • GS70 STEALTH Ram Upgrade

    Hi everyone
I am planing to buy the GS70 STEALTH and i understand from the specification that the device have 16 GB ram , now if i remove the two 8 GB chipset and install two 16 GB ram will it work ?? I know it was mentioned in the specification page that the device have 2 ram slots and support 16 GB but i am confused , does it mean the total maximum memory supported is 16 GB or maximum memory supported for each slot is 16 GB  ??
    Many thanks

Just checked the specs of it and it does say 16gb max.
Therefore, two 8gb ram sticks are the limit.

  • GS70 Stealth RAM issue

    i have add a kingston 1.5V 8GB 1600 RAM for my GS70 stealth.
but i saw from CPU-ID the original RAM by MSI is 1.3V only.
so will any problem if i use kingston RAM 1.5V at slot 2 running dual channel with MSI original 1.3V RAM?
Slot 1 original RAM from MSI
Slot 2 Kingston add by self

I assume you have hasswell CPU inside which officially support only 1.35V RAM. You can google "Haswell notebook 1.5V RAM" and will see possible problems.
I personally think that at first you will not have problems BUT I have no idea if you will in a long-term period.

  • GS70 Stealth Pro 2QE Crimson Red Edition Questions

    Hello all!
Well I'm looking to get myself a belated birthday present(was waiting on my tax return money) and am looking at the GS70 Stealth Pro-096 Crimson Red model and I have some questions for those of you that own the Crimson Red edition models and some questions as far as the Stealth Pro models in general.   My current system is a GE70 with 12GB DDR3, 1 TB Samsung SSHD drive(my own install) and a Crucial M500 120GB MSata drive running Windows 8.1.   I like to play several games like World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships(currently one of the beta-testers), but I also use the laptop for various Windows/Windows Phone app development and testing and I also use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit my personal photography and design the images I need for my apps as well as play around with a few things.   While this laptop is decent and holding it's own at doing all of those things, it's definitely not a master at anyone of those things as I average 35fps in WOT and it's not necessarily the best development machine.   What I'm wanting to do is take my gaming and my graphics/photography work and do that on the Stealth Pro and make the GE70 my development only machine, but I have some questions prior to pulling the trigger on this purchase.   As I will still use both for any email, office documents, music, and general everyday computing activity(browsing the web) as well.
    1.   Does the crimson red finish act as a fingerprint magnet?
    2.   Has anyone had any issues with running Lightroom and Photoshop on their GS70?
    3.   Has anyone had any issues with the screen arriving with 1 or more dead pixels on their GS70 that MSI refused to fix?
I'm sure I have more questions but those are the only ones that I can think of at this point.   Any and all feedback and assistance y'all can offer me will be greatly appreciated.
    CGD

    I don't have crimson red GS70, but I have a normal one.
    So I can't answer the question 1.
However, as for question 2, it's definitely no problem because I'm always using PS on a GS70 sample, but I never used Lightroom.
And as for question 3, you can refer to this webpage: http://www.msi.com/page/NB_LCDPanel/

  • GS70 Stealth multi touch gestures Windows 8

I currently own the GS70 Stealth. It was working fine for the first 4-5 months.
However, recently the touchpad stopped responding.
I reinstalled the drivers from the MSI website and it helped in making the touchpad respond.
However, the two finger scrolling multi-touch gesture still does not work.
Could anyone help me please? Do I need to update the BIOS? I do not wish to resort to updating the BIOS as then I will have to take it back to the shop.
    Thank you!

This sounds more like a hardware problem to be honest. I'd contact MSI for an RMA.
