GT60 0NC-004US Disassembly Guide, please..

Hi folks,
I have a problem with my GT60 0NC-004US. The power plug in it's broken so i have to keep pushing up the power cable to keep charging my battery.
Anyone has the guide to disassemble this laptop?

I’m Brazilian and I own a MSI GT60, I bought it at EUA in August 2012.
I’ve searched a lot about GPU upgrades and I’d like to try.
However I’d like to talk with one of the best in BIOS mod, and this guy are you.
I’d like to update my currently GTX 670M to a 970M.
It’s not sure, First I need to buy this card here in Brazil, since there’s a probability that the card fail.
But in parallel I’m talking with you about the BIOS update that I’ll need anyway.
Current BIOS: E16F3IMS.10U
Current EC: 16F3EMS1.414
My GT60 came with Windows 7 pre-installed
Is this BIOS the latest available for it?
Is there any safe way to update the BIOS to the Windows 8 Version?
Because I’ve heard about the BIOS version E16F3IMS.51X and its compatibility seems to be better.
Do I need to update the firmware? Which version?
Is there any way to personalize the temperature x fan speed curve?
I’d like to set FAN speed to max above 75°C.
How much will this cost me?

yes for Win7 based bios, but if you want to add 970M card , 5.xx, 7.xx will be required

GT60 0nc poor performance on battery

Hello, I just got a new gt60 0nc 204ne Friday but it seems to that some kind of engine called ECO engine stops the pc from using maximum power on battery, is there any possible way to get around that so it's possible to play games just as optimised as if it was connected to the adapter?
I do already know that this will reduce the power on the battery to live not as long as the possible 4 hours battery time it have now. But it is mostly to be able to do so.

Small Fast Guide:
1. Downloaded the NON-Beta driver from my product support page (http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT60-0NC.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7 64)
= NVIDIA Geforce GT670M Graphic Card (Version: 8.17.12.9562, Release Date: 2012-04-20)
2. Then disconnected the internet
2.1. I used Driver Fusion - and removed my driver (http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion)
3. Rebooted
4. Installed the Driver downloaded at MSI
5. Profit
- I got 120-250 FPS now, using the "OLD" Driver
No changes besides that - I'm surely NOT going to update my drivers!
I did NOT use Turbo for the testing to get these FPS
NOTE!
A thing to remember,
1. go to nividia control panel
2. Manage 3D settings
3. Find your game
4. Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
Gives about 20-50 FPS
NOTE2!
Some games may have issues with older drivers
Beathazard won't work with the 670M if using the old driver, luckily we got the integrated (at least).

Unlocked and IRST updated mod request : GT60 0NC-011NE

Can I please request an unlocked Bios, with latest RST orom for the GT60 0NC-011NE ?
Since I am currently running Win7, I understand that the .10U bios should be the best option. But if I want to run UEFI mode mainly, for Win8 and Win10 preview, would the .50X bios be the better option ?
If so, by donating twice what I initially planned, would it be possible to get both versions unlocked and updated ?

Yes please, both of them . I''ll use the 10U currently while I am on Win7, and switch to the 51X when I install the retail Win8, or test Win10 Preview, as they are better run under UEFI mode, than CSM mode.

I would also not recommend removing and opening the notebook by yourself if you have no enough experience. You could damage some parts instead of repairing ;)
Every notebook technician could do this job for some bucks. so asks someone in your area.

CONSIDER UPGRADING HARD DISK OF MSI GT60-0NC

I had bought my new MSI GT60-0NC recently in Malaysia. My com is equipped with 750GB 7200rpm hdd, probably sata maybe.
So far I am satisfied and indeed quite impressed with its performance. Who knows maybe after few years my specs will soon outdated and cant cope with my requirements for performance?
I would like to seek for some guidance for upgrading hdd to other type of hard disk drives like ssd or raid-II.
Is any kind of SSD hard drive can be installed on the laptop? Any brand recommendations for ssd or hybrid hard disk drives?

It's really hit or miss with most SSD's for some reason.
I've seen a few people who got Samsung 840 non-PRO/PRO drives have problems, and some who had no problems.
Personally, I've got the super raid adapter and have 2 x Mushkin Atlas Deluxe mSATA 240GB drives in my laptop, and it work great.
I've had a few people with Intel 520 based drives have problems as well.
Personally, I would find what you want and try it out. If it doesn't work, you may have to return it though. Everything SHOULD work, but it's not always the case unfortunately.

Since I don't have a Zen X-Fi, and thus don't have or use Centrale, I can't atest to its accuracy or completeness. But at least someone took a stab at it. There also appears to be a stand-alone video converter application available in the Zen X-Fi download area.
Regarding your "format" question, that isn't easy to answer without involving the jargon you asked be avoided. Modern video "formats" aren't simple. They are basically containers that hold other things (namely the video stream and the audio stream). The video stream and audio stream are encoded separately using completely unrelated techniques. They are then bundled together under a "wrapper" like AVI, M4V, etc. Thus you need to know specifically what coder-decoders (codecs) were used to create the internal streams and what codecs the player itself supports.
An analogy can be found in chinese "buns". Externally they all look alike, but in one case the filling could be a sweet rice paste and in another it could be octopus. Knowing what's inside can make all the difference.
