@Newbie121  There are 2  Hawk  revisions  SSID 2600 and SSID 2601, so I'll add that for you (please look below)
@plaapa : Nibitor never showed me a green light ever as I mentioned  above. All the original bioses gave a red dot but so far that is my 6th time that I flashed  bioses. All were without problem. If you get any problems just revert to your  backed up BIOS.
Edit : Newbie121 here is you card's revision of bios :
    MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk r2 (SSID 2601) : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49863600/MSI%20GTX%20560%20TI%20HAWKr2.rom
How do i know which hawk revisions is mine,?
I currently have Bios 70.24.11.00.00 .does the newer bios help BF3 crashing to desktop in multiplayer mode, works well in single player mode in ultra settings but crashes to desktop in multiplayer even in low settings.
    The temperature also reaches 79° C with a room temperature of 23° C to 24° C.
Also how is Live update 5 which says there is a new version MS-V260 112 and my current version is MS-V260 111

I am using Nvidia 275.33 with the MSI Twin Frozr GTX 560 Ti II & keep getting kernel driver errors, cant run any games the screen goes black & the system locks up
Already tried multiple re installs of the driver & all the tweaks suggested

How do I update the bios?
    My current version is 70.24.11.00.00

Hey I had similar problem, try installing the MSI drivers http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-Ti-Twin-Frozr-II.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7%2032 , try the 266 ones, if they dont work try the 280, for me personally the 280.26 driver worked. Even when i had already tried the 280.26 driver from the official nvidia website. Hope this works for you too

  • MSI Twin Frozr Gtx 770 4gb uefi bios

    Hey guys.
    First time posting here.
Does my graphics card come with a uefi bios? If not, how do I get one and how do I flash it? I'm experiencing black screen hangups on startup, on a new build and people say a bios flash may be the solution.
    Thanks.
    My current bios: ht tp://ww w.2sh ared.co m/file/qpo5L9 My/GK104.ht ml
please delete spaces (says I'm not allowed to post external links, sorry)

A few weeks ago, I built my own pc and installed Windows 8.1. I've installed just basic drivers from vendors websites and avast, malwarebytes, some benchmarking utilities and games. I'm getting really sluggish startup speeds, and my pc stops at a black screen after the windows logo but before the logo. The way I would describe the black screen is, it happens after the windows logo but before the welcome screen - a black screen from 8-15 seconds. I cannot move my cursor or see anything. Some research from the likes of eightforums etc suggests its my gpu drivers, so I decided to post here.
    What I've tried:
Reinstalled video card drivers to see if it stops black screening
    Full virus scan
Made startup programs and services minimal
Checked event viewer for anything peculiar - nothing came up, besides a driver related to my asus motherboard - AMDA00 Interface. I have since disabled it, as its not needed. Still no difference.
Reinstalled windows 8.1. Still the same.
When I boot in safe mode, I also get the "hanging" black screen, although it doesn't last as long.
    My specs:
CPU: Intel i5 4670K (Stock Speeds)
    Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP - 2x4GB @ 1866Mhz
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 770 4GB - CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Cooler
    PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750W
    Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Windowed (with Red AKASA Led Strips)
    Display: Benq GL2460HM 24" Monitor
Keyboard/Mouse: Basic sumvision keyboard and tecknet mouse - both USB. No other peripherals connected.
Any help is appreciated and feel free to ask for any more info.
    Thanks

  • MSI twin frozr 4 GTX 670

    Hello
Having a slight problem with my gpu, maybe it is not a problem though.
My MSI twin frozr 4 GTX 670 is idling at a great temp of 28 Celsius.
When I play battlefield 3 or future soldier my card temps hit 80 degrees, I also hit 82 degrees in fur mark.
Is this high temps for this card
    thanks

Well I guess your card is a GTX 670 Power Edition because that uses Twin Frozr 4. 80 or 82°C is by far no problem especially not in Furmark. Besides the Twin Frozr 4 has more potential and gets my (much overclocked) GTX 680 Lightning to stay at 60°C under load but I have a very decent ventilation in my bigtower case. So with better airflow you'd have better temps but none the less the current temps are still far from problematic.

  • UEFI BIOS Request for MSI Twin Frozr GTX 770 4GB

    Hello,
    My S/N is 602-V282-22SB1308028712
I have a Twin Frozr GTX 770 with 4GB of memory.
    Thank You!

    Use the attached.
Decompress the provided .rar archive with Winrar: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Then flash the included file with Nvflash for dos: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvflash_download.html
To do so rename the included file to .rom and create a dos bootstick (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=165175.0)
Put nvflash and the vbios file on it and boot from the stick. Then type nvflash -4 -5 -6 gop.rom (if renamed vbios that way) and hit enter. Confirm the questions and let the tool flash.

  • MSI Twin Frozr II GeForce GTX 465 - N465GTX: Won't Display Video

My computer had been working perfectly fine up until a few hours ago when I tried starting it up from a hibernation state. Any attempts to power down and power back up again has been met with the same issue. No picture. The display will flash though. And on bootup, it looks like it's trying to display the intro screen for my motherboard, but I can't really tell. It's just a split second of color and light periodically flashing on the screen.
Just this morning, I had upgraded the Nvidia drivers to I believe the latest (296.10). So I'm wondering if that caused the issue. Again, my computer had been running perfectly for months.

Are you mixing 2 different brands of RAM, Corsair and Mushkin?
If you are don't do it, remove the Mushkin and try again with just one stick of the Corsair in DIMM1 slot for testing to see if you get the video back.
As far as MB BIOS goes if you've never flashed it you can find what the original is on the sticker on the BIOS chip, location shown by the red square.

  • [Request] UEFI Bios for Radeon HD7850 Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC

Hello folks, new member here. I'd like to open by thanking this community for the great level of education and support provided here. I have always been an EVGA guy, and I have been quite impressed with my MSI experience so far and this forum just validates that experience...It's going to be a tough choice where my dollars go moving forward and that's saying a lot about how good MSI has been!!
Onward and upward, I need a UEFI/SECUREBOOT/GOP/VBIOS for my card.
    S/N: 602-V273-050B1301146609
Also, once I receive this bios, can someone please clarify the proper procedure for flashing it to the card, I have searched and I have seen a few different methods referenced, I just wanted to know what the officially accepted way of doing it is.  I assume it's good practice to backup the current vbios that is on the card just in case as well and if there is a procedure for that as well.
Finally being new to all this UEFI stuff, after flashing the card, if I decide to pull it and place it in a non UEFI system, will I have to flash back to the old BIOS or will it be backwards compatible with non-uefi systems?
I'm new to the whole UEFI environment and am still figuring this all out, thanks for the patience and help.
    Nate

  • MSI Twin Frozr Gaming Geforce GTX 770

    Dear MSI,
Recently I bought myself an ASUS PG278Q Gaming Monitor with 144hz & 2K Resolution.
Now my game no longer plays smooth and nice. & my FPS is between 70 & 100 and drops to 30/50 in teamfights..
1.5 year ago I purchased the MSI Geforce GTX 770 Twin Frozr & I really expected this card to be strong enough for the monitor.
( I play League of Legends, soon hoping competitively. Also I got to know from some people that this card would be strong enough for the monitor. )
All my drivers are up to date in the Nvidia Geforce Expierence. Can someone help me & How to solve this?
    Kind Regards,

  • MSI Twin Frozr 560 Ti problem

So I've had my 560 ti for about a month or so and I've been having trouble with it during the past few weeks.  Basically I have artifact tearing in any game I try to play (wow, sc2, etc).  It gets really bad at times even has lead to a few crashes.  I had it o/c for about two weeks but then started having problems so since I've set it back to the default but the problems persist.  Anytime that I've ran Kombustor I've never had any problems but anytime I'm in a game I will start to see artifact tearing.  I don't have any heating problems.  I've checked to ensure that it is secure in my case as well making sure the wires are all in tight.   I've searched the forums for a while on here trying to see if I could fix it myself but I wasn't successful.

I intend to do so asap.  Anything you'd recommend for testing it while in another machine?  I only ask because if I restart my computer after having artifact tearing the problem goes away for a while.  Just figured I'd ask if there is anything you'd suggest doing to test it rather than have to sit there for a while waiting
if you can test with different and more powerfull PSU

is the bios related to temp or not
no the new vbios is not related to the temp.

i have before same card but not oc and high temps can't over 75
but when i have the oc edition now the temps in high load between 80 and 90
is that safe or not sorry my bad english
some units are running hotter than another.
you can try to reseat the VGA heatsink and to reapply the new thermal paste,
to check if this will help to drop it a bit.

  • Requesting New BIOS for N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II

Hello, forgive me if i'm a bit slow, but this stuff is all a bit new to me. I've read that a lot of crash issues with this card (the ones i seem to be having) are video BIOS related?
So I figured I'd give this a try.

    GPUZ info:
My current BIOS i have a mediafire link, but it wont allow me to post it, if you have another way for me to do so I'll get right on it.
EDIT: nvm i found it here when i tried to upload it from GPUZ: http: //www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/120003/msi-gtx560ti-1024-120222.html

how do you know that's your vbios?
opposite. in very rare cases the vbios can help with such.
is this a new card? or used one? if yes does it worked before?
what are your computer specifications? list full PC specifications , see >>Posting Guide<<
I only mention that i thought it was a vbios thing because i read a thread that had multiple people having problems with the same card (although it really does seem to have problems with the nvidia drivers). I have tried all number of different freshly installed driver versions, but to no avail.
I know its my vbios because when i tried to upload it to the GPUZ database it said it already existed and gave me that exact name.
the card was new when i got it about a year ago, these problems have been occuring since then (mostly with the driver updates) and I've permitted it up till now, I'm sick of my pc rebooting and getting no video output.

Does this sometimes happen or should both fans be on at the same time?
