Hi svet, i played Crysis 2, i completet crysis 2 dx 10 everything max 2 weeks ago no crash, but when i play World of warcraft dx 11 it crash i think that is odd because World of warcraft take less GPU power than Crysis 2..
Yep, looks to be other reason like game specified problem..
try latest patch for this game, reintall the game, try different vga drivers.
or contact blizzard support if nothing helps

Geforce GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC and BSOD
Hi,
I have an MSI Geforce GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC which appears to be causing system instability (graphical corruption upon boot i.e before windows), and BSOD. It typically occurs from a cold boot resulting in BSOD after the Windows logo. This will occur 2-3 times. The system then runs stably.
I have tracked this problem down to this card when running at x16 mode in my primary PCIe slot (slot 2, x16_1) on my motherboard. It does not occur if the card is in slot 5 (x16_2) where it only runs at x8 speed (2.5Gb/s rather than 5Gb/s). This does not occur if I place a borrowed Geforce GTX 260 in the primary PCIe slot (it runs at x16 fine and causes no such system instability).
I have tried out various mobo BIOS updates, checked all my system files, updated (and rolled back) my NVIDIA drivers, and checked my memory for errors with Memtest 86+. I cannot find any updates to my video card BIOS.
Can I assume the card is faulty, or does anyone have any other possible solutions?
Spec is:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel I5-2500K
Asus P8Z68V-Gen 3 mobo
8Gb Corsair DDR3 1800 mem

Its a Corsair 750TX V2 (750 watt). I am also running 1 SSD, 2 hard drives and a blue-ray optical drive. You don't think its too much for the PSU do you?
The PSU its plenty enough
Quote
No I haven't tried it on another computer and I don't think its very likely I'll get the chance.
there is not much options then, except to RMA the card and to hope the problem to be there.

Unstable GTX 570 Twin Frozr III OC
My brand new MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III OC is unstable. When under load suddenly the sound hangs and the GTX shuts down for a second and the screen goes black. After this it works again. Some games can handle this, but with others I'm back @ desktop.
My rig:
- Intel i7 2600K
- Asrock P67 Pro3 B3
- Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4GB
- Cooler Master Powersupply Realpower Pro 700W Modular
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit)
Is this problem due to the known stability issues and should I have a VBIOS update? If so which one, because GTX570 Twin Frozr III OC isn't on your BIOS update list.Back again...
Today I installed a new PSU (Corsair GS700 single rail with 56 A over +12V) and started playing Bioshock 2 because the error used to occur the most often playing that game.
I played half an hour feeling more and more relieved when suddenly..... same sh*t happened.
Windows crash report had the following to say:

I think we can rule out that it's a PSU problem. My mobo, processor and RAM are also new so maybe the problem is not the card. I already tested the RAM with memtest with no errors.
I will try to find another PC to test the card in. Can I do something else to maybe test the motherboard or processor? -
The fan on my GTX 570 Twin Frozr II OC is locked in between 40%-85%. I would like to have the full range of 30%-100%. I believe I have the latest bios. I don't want to have follow the process listed by msi for updating my bios, which involves downloading one program so you can configure something so you can use another program......
EVGA has a simple executable file which unlocks the fan speeds. Does MSI have something similar?Quote from: dieukroman on 13-March-11, 21:56:02
i can feel it , i pass my finger near the fan
then it could be your illusion/imagination...
what hapends if you force/apply max FAN speed from AB?
Does the FAN2 will speed up or keep the same state?
And FAN1 will speedup too?
Apply max FAN RPM from AB, then observe and compare both FAN's again -
GTX 570 Twin Frozr III POWER Edition
Hey guys,
i just got the GTX 570 Twin Frozr III POWER Edition and i love the card but it seems to run quite loud at fan speed above 48% so i made a custom fan control in afterburner
and the card runs at 71C - 75C under full load in games(crysis2, witcher 2), are those temperatures too high? if not what is the max safe temp i should be running at?
thank you =]Quote from: Henry on 31-July-11, 05:13:04
Those temps are normal under a heavy load, nothing at all to worry about.
some people said i can lower the fan speed and just let the card run at 80C, so my last question is:
Is 80C under load an acceptable temperature to run this card at for let's say 4 non-stop gaming hours a day?
and thanks for reply ^^ -

GTX 570 Twin FrozR II cold boot noise
I got a MSI GeForce GTX 570 Twin FrozR II OC graphics card. Recently I noticed that one of the fans is making a rattling noise on cold boots. The noise lasts for about 30-40 seconds and then goes away.
The card is just under 3 months old. Should I RMA it? Does MSI do Advanced RMA?you can do query with msi about it here:

Gtx 560 Ti twin frozr II driver crash
Hi, I have a gtx 560 Ti twin frozr II that randomly have driver crashes in windows. The screen would turn black for about 5 seconds and reappear saying the drivers have crashed. I have the latest drivers. This would happen about 2-3 times a day. Is there a way to fix this?
Check this thread and see if problem/possible solution might apply to you.
It possibly will if you're using Firefox and getting get pop-up messages saying something along the lines "nVidia driver crashed and then was restored" -
MSI gtx 570 twin frozr III - Dual Screen Windowed mode issues
Ok, so... I was running a solo monitor 1440x900 resolution, i recently purchased a brand new asus 24 inch 1900x1080 monitor. Basically what is happening is when i play WoW or Battlefield 3 in windowed mode on the 1080p monitor the colors are not perfect. When i go full-screen on the new monitor no issues, but that is not what i want to have to live with. When i say the colors are not perfect what i mean is, for example when i look @ the sky instead of being a smooth transition or blend from one shade of the sky to the next it is bars or stripes of each shade as if i am looking at the sky in 8 bit color instead of 32 bit color. Another thing to note is that when i login to windows 7 the blue screen where i input the password has the same effect. The 1440x900 monitor is running everything just fine. the only issue is with the 1080p monitor.
I am using DVI cabling for both, and have swapped them around to see if that was the issue, and sadly it is not. I am running the updated gpu driver, which i uninstalled and re-downloaded and installed again tonight.
When i use the HDMI cable, that fixes the issue but i need the HDMI for my 42 inch tv.
Also in windows, just to cover my bases with this post, i have the native resolutions properly configured, as well as in the game for the given monitor it is being played on.
Anyone know of a fix for this?
i7 2600k
asus PBZ68-v Pro/Gen3
Msi gtx 570
Samsung syncmaster 953bw (1440x900)
Asus VS248 (1900x1080)
I am more than happy to re-explain anything that may not be as descriptive or clear to you just let me know!
EDIT!
When i run the 24 inch 1080p new monitor as my only monitor on the system, everything runs perfectly...
Edit #2
Ok so i have pin pointed a possible cause
This msi gtx 570 struggles with operating multiple displays with different resolutions, while dual screening with my 1080p television and the 1080p display, everything runs as expected. Having to also render a 1440x900 display is probably the reason i am having the graphic issues. Is there any type of utility, setting, or other fix to this type issue? also this gpu is certainly less than 2 weeks since i purchased i could get a different card to remedy this... any suggestion? if you suggest a different card can you say so with certainty that it will work properly under the condition in which 2 resolutions will be required?Ok, the problem is fixed and Svet i skipped a step or two. I installed the new driver with the clean install to save time for an initial attempt. What is interesting is that with the Geforce driver, only one 1920x1080 resolution was available
The msi driver gave me 2 options, 1920x1080 and 1920x1080 (native). The latter resolution fixed the issue for whatever reason.
The solution to this problem is so easy, when i purchased battlefield 3 it prompted me to download the geforce.com driver and i did not think anything of it at the time, lesson learned. -
MSI Afterburner and GTX 570 Twin Frozr 3
So I recently purchased a gtx570 and see that I cannot even see what voltage I am at with afterburner , no matter what I try I cant change or see voltage , I find it amusing that MSI is advertised on the box for an MSI card yet it doesnt work with my Twin Frozr 3 .
Does anybody have a tweak for afterburner so I can see what voltage I am at , I wish to attempt to lower my voltage and keep stock OC settings .
I do not wish to use 2 programs when afterburner is already the best and from msi .
Also , can lowering voltage slightly @ stock settings cause any harm whatsoever ?Quote from: Svet on 09-July-11, 07:13:19
what exactly?
Probably my suggestion to unlock voltage control and voltage monitoring, like if I know he already try it. Will have helped to give us more information as witch driver he installs with his new card.
EDIT : the OP have another tread about another problem with the same GPU , I will suggest he make the cleaning of the registry as we suggest in the other tread first, one problem at the time -

GTX 570 Twin Frozr III POWER Edition supply issues
Hi there,
I've always been a fan of MSi products, so when the time came for me to start looking for an upgrade to my current graphics card, I started looking to what MSi had in their range. After some research, the GTX 570 TFIII seems a good option for me, as it gives good performance at a reasnoble price.
Unfortunately MSi seems to have fallen off the map in South Africa. I cannot find any retailer or wholesaler to even give me an eta for 570 or 580 chipset cards in the country, and I've tried all of the suppliers listed on your site and a few that arn't listed. Is there some worldwide shortage of these models? Did the ship sink? Have MSi forgotten where South Africa is?
Any help with the procurement of these cards would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to start importing from the U.S/Europe myself, and I'd like to get an MSi card if possible, rather than go for a different make.
regards,
AlWelcome to the forum Alandrix.
None of us work for MSI and as such we cannot answer to the supply shortage reasons.
We are at the mercy of the importers. MSI has no official representation in South Africa and all their products are imported by these distributers who have standing contracts with MSI.
Only these importers can supply you with information as to what is on order by them and as to when thses shipments are expected.
As for bringing this to MSI's attention, I suggest you open a ticket and describe the situation to them. That is the only way that MSI will be aware of any seeming neglect with regards to product availability by their official importers/distributers. >>How to contact MSI.<<
Its unfortunately the way it is and it will remain that way until MSI decides to invest in some official representation on the African Continent.
Check your PM. I posted a local contact that may be able to assist in your query. -

N560GTX Twin Frozr II driver crashes
So, the first one of these cards couldn't stay in windows and would crash because Aero, the windows 7 theme, was too intense for it. So, I RMA'd it and I received my current one, which might actually be the same one but I'm not sure. I thought all was copacetic but I was wrong. All is fine until about 6 hours to 4 days after a reboot, then the drivers crash and refuse to run anything 3d. This is easily resolved by shutting down the PC and letting sit for about 15 seconds then rebooting; also, the issue occurs more often if I play games.
What I've tried - result:
Rebooting - Problem reoccurs
Updating drivers - Problem isn't resolved
Using a different computer with no similar parts - still occurs
Checked the wattage and draw of my power supply with a multimeter - Power supply isn't tax on either system
Reseating the video card - still issues

have you used >>Driver Sweeper<< to remove VGA drivers in "Safe Mode",
before installing the new one?
It was a brand new install of windows 7 on the most recent occasion and i used driver sweeper on the old pc. It doesn't seem to matter what driver i use, how i uninstall it, how i clean up after it, whether its a fresh install of windows 7 or an old one no matter what i'm stuck with this annoying issue.
