Is that a TV or monitor?
I have 2 monitors dell u2311h and benq xl2411t (in the option of the monitors is on full).
However the problem is on bios vga or bios mb because just change one setting (csm on or csm off) and it work or don't work in fullscreen.

  • Injustice!!! MSI Charging me for replace my Twin Frozr III under warranty...

They says it is because it is oxidized. I have my PC since 2009. I bought this video card as part of an upgrade in December, 2011. Only 20 months have passed. My PC is not oxidized in any part or component. Nothing have failed by oxidation or other fact, all working like a charm. My older (EGA NVIDIA 275 GTX) Video Card is still working in another PC in the same house with no oxidation or whatever.
Two weeks ago, my MSI Twin Frozr III stopped working and I sent it to the warranty (RMA: RRD13022836).
Now MSI are charging me a replacement fee of $55.00 because oxidation. The only part oxidized that I see is the faceplate where are the connectors at the back. My PC is two years older than the MSI Twin Frozr III and it is not oxidized. The oxidation on the video card is because MSI used cheap materials. Why do I have to pay for that? Do MSI test their products on other normal environments?
Here in my Country the air is normally damp but not at the grade that my electronics fail for that.
If here is anyone that can help me with this injustice please reply.
Here is a picture that they sent me of my card:
Here are some pictures of my PC with another video card, dusty maybe but not oxidized:

I install hardwood floors for a living here in Florida.  One of the things I look for before I install a floor is moisture.  I test the subfloor for it and look around the room for it.  I might suggest in this case that you closely inspect the area where this computer has been kept for high moisture content.  Moisture that is too high can cause mold growth which is bad and it's better to catch a problem early than deal with a big expensive repair to your house later on.
When I bought my first MSI graphics card it was because of the quality level.  The attention to detail when designing their cards and motherboards is very high.   I've used the other popular manufacturers for things and I have not felt the same about their attention to detail.  I have heard stories about people sending their items out for RMA only to get them sent right back with nothing fixed and no explanation why.  Well I agree $55.00 isn't the best news, at least they took the time to look your card over and make a determination that they felt was fair and then present their findings and your options to you.  This all instead of just sending the card straight back to you.  If it was me I would just pay the $55.00 for the nice clean working card.
You may consider about once a month too every two months, taking your PC outside the house and blowing the dust out of it.  I personally use this http://www.metrovacworld.com/DataVac%20Electric%20Duster.  This is not a vacuum it is a blower and works well and keeps you from having to buy those cans of compressed air all the time.

  • Geforce GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC and BSOD

    Hi,
I have an MSI Geforce GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC which appears to be causing system instability (graphical corruption upon boot i.e before windows), and BSOD. It typically occurs from a cold boot resulting in BSOD after the Windows logo. This will occur 2-3 times. The system then runs stably.
I have tracked this problem down to this card when running at x16 mode in my primary PCIe slot (slot 2, x16_1) on my motherboard. It does not occur if the card is in slot 5 (x16_2) where it only runs at x8 speed (2.5Gb/s rather than 5Gb/s). This does not occur if I place a borrowed Geforce GTX 260 in the primary PCIe slot (it runs at x16 fine and causes no such system instability).
I have tried out various mobo BIOS updates, checked all my system files, updated (and rolled back) my NVIDIA drivers, and checked my memory for errors with Memtest 86+. I cannot find any updates to my video card BIOS.
Can I assume the card is faulty, or does anyone have any other possible solutions?
    Spec is:
    Windows 7 64-bit
    Intel I5-2500K
    Asus P8Z68V-Gen 3 mobo
    8Gb Corsair DDR3 1800 mem
MSI Geforce GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC
    Cheers!

Its a Corsair 750TX V2 (750 watt). I am also running 1 SSD, 2 hard drives and a blue-ray optical drive. You don't think its too much for the PSU do you?
    The PSU its plenty enough
    Quote
No I haven't tried it on another computer and I don't think its very likely I'll get the chance.
there is not much options then, except to RMA the card and to hope the problem to be there.
    [else the problem will remain]

  • SLI between N580 lightning and N580GTX TWIN FROZR III 15D5 POWER EDITION/OC

    Hi,
I am gonna upgrade to a 30 inch monitor and run a resolution beyond FullHD and this will require some potent GPU calculation power!
I already have a MSI N580GTX Lightning edition for a long time now but this card is nowhere to found anymore these days, however the N580GTX TWIN FROZR III 15D5 POWER EDITION/OC is the follow up card of the lightning extreme edition.
Will this SLI setup work between these 2 cards?
The Power edition look like a re-branded variant of the lightning, even the specs are the same (its down clocked a few steps though)
Please only advise if you are certain, it would be a waste of my money if this SLI will not work!
    With kind regards,
    Rick

Quote from: stigma on 06-May-12, 01:06:19
no its the first (non extreme) edition
Btw i edited my earlier post with links and more comment...
Aha, it should be not a problem to work together then.
    Quote
The only differences i can find is the P4 hardware (seperate fases) in the Lightning....so basicly they ARE the same but.....the Power edition would most likely overclock less then the lightning...?
Those are cards features, they are not related to SLI support

  • N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC ----- No Boot / Blue Screen

    Hello all,
I recently purchase a brand new N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC.  Previous to installing the card I had a gt250 with the latest Nvidia drivers installed (285.62).  I installed the n570 and booted up no problems.  I was able to see the new card installed in device manager and also confirmed it in afterburner.  However, I wasn't able to set or view the voltage settings even after enabling in preferences and restarting afterburner.  Although, the remaining settings / stats seemed to work fine.  I was also able to do a full kombuster (ultra settings) benchmark with no problems, receiving a decent score and topping out temps in the high 50's I think.  I also played a few games and turned up settings with no trouble.
When I rebooted my machine as the windows load screen popped up I got a BSOD and an error referencing nvlddmkm.sys.  All reboots there after either failed to the same BSOD error or rebooted the machine.  Booting into safe mode had no problem as did booting into normal mode if I uninstalled all nvidia drivers first.   As long as I boot into safe mode or there's no drivers installed it doesn't fail.
I've tried every version of the nvidia drivers I can find.  286.62, the newest 290 beta drivers, the 266 versions that came on the cd and multiple 270's version that were noted the most stable in internet forums...all produce the same results.  I then updated the bios on my motherboard to the latest.  I also reinstalled a fresh copy of win7 x64, and ran all system updates include service pack 1.  I did all those updates with my 250 installed.  After I had a solid system I put in the n570 and rebooted.  I again had a perfect boot and was able to access the card (not the voltage via afterburned or any info via live update 5).  I was able to run benchmarks etc once again.  Upon a reboot, it failed back to the BSOD again.  I repeated the multiple driver tests, all failed the same.
If anyone could suggest something other than RMA I would be happy to give something else a try.  It seems silly to RMA a card that works so well on first boot until I reboot windows.  But I'm out of ideas...
    System specs:
N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC
    Intel Core i7 950
    6gigs Ram
730 watt power supply (w/ dual pci-e power connectors)
Gigabyte x58a-ud3r rev2 (newest bios - standard clock speeds - default voltage settings for pcie)
Win7 x64 Service pack 1 (all windows updates)
    Thanks for any help.

Also, if it helps to note, on the initial install (both times) the card was stable for hours until I shut down and rebooted.  If it were a power issue wouldn't it be unlikely to be stable for such a long time (even during stress tests) and then not even be able to load windows correct after a reset?  Seems like a driver issue to me, however as I've said I've tried them ALL haha.
    Thanks for the help

  • MSI nVidia GTX 560ti Twin frozr III loss of output

    Hi folks,
I recently needed my monitor to test another rig and upon plugging it back in I discovered my MSI nVidia GTX 560ti Twin frozr III no longer has video output, I have tried different outputs, different cables, different displays and different motherboard slots to no avail. Had a search around and couldn't find any other instances of this. The card is 2 years old now but has always functioned perfectly (apart from the well publicised memory temperature problem). Any ideas what might be causing this issue?
    Regards,
    hotrats

MSI nVidia GTX 560ti Twin frozr III
    Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR3
    Thermatake 750W Evo_blue 2.0
I'm assuming drives and case aren't the issue so not listing them.

The card is 2 years old, but how long wasn't it used for and did you ever had any problems with it?
First of all, I would reset CMOS >>Clear CMOS Guide<< so all the OC is removed (write down settings of CPU OC if you want to use it later on).
Then (I don't know Asus boards) would look through the BIOS if it recognises the card. Possible you should get rid of the possible dust in PCIe slot?
Also: while card is plugged in, run computer and: try all the video ports, even those on motherboard (maybe board doesn't recognise the card and wants to run integrated gpu if there is any).
Last but not least: ask a friend/colleague if you can test your card in their computer. Best if it would be different brand of motherboard, and power supply. Possibly power supply is screwed up somewhere (broken connection)and doesn't deliver enough power to give output.
Does the card start up when you run the PC (fans of the card)?

  • Driver for N560GTX-448 Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC -l- split

I bought the card about four weeks ago and just now I had the opportunity to test it.
When I installed the video card in my PC, the device manager appears only a standard VGA video card. When I installed the driver, Device Manager showed a yellow exclamation on Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560 Ti saying "Windows has stopped this device becouse encounter some problems (error 43). I tried running some games but I could not open them, and with some drivers the screen was filled with artifacts
I tried various drivers on my two PCs, from one that comes with the video card to the 295.73 driver, and each time the same warning on device manager. Can anyone help solve this or may I do a RMA to MSI?

You sure your PSU has enough amps on the 12V rail and you connected the PCIE power connectors properly ?
Have you checked your Motherboard's BIOS revisions for updates regarding the later video cards ?
Your PCIE Bus interface should be 2.0 X 16. Have you reseated the card properly and disabled the on board graphics in your BIOS ?
My PSU is a SevenTeam 750ZAF with 750W. I used it to do SLI of my 9800GTX+ in the other computer and never had problems with it. I doubt that this could be my problem.
The GA-EP43-DS3L already has the ultimate BIOS and I did the update on the GA-A75M-D2H BIOS. Nothing new, the problem persist.
Anyone of my boards does not support PCI-Express 2.0 but this is not a requisites for  work of the video board like said the MSI page:
    http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-448-Twin-Frozr-III-Power-Edition-OC.html#?div=Feature
"PCI Express 2.0 doubles the bandwidth of previous generations of PCI express up to an astonishing 16Gb/s. This maximizes the performance of current graphics cards in today's most demanding games and applications. PCI Express 2.0 products are fully compatible with mainboards with other versions of PCI Express."

After flashing this bios, fast boot succeeded but running 3dmark (I tried the newest, 11 and vantage) brought my pc sudden power off.

I recently built my first gaming computer and everything worked...... except installation of the MSI GeForce GTX660 Twin Frozr Gaming OC video card. I have an MSI Z87M Gaming motherboard and an Intel i5 4670K processor. Running Windows 7 Professional and 8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM. I've tested the card on an older machine with a first generation PCIe slot and it installed and worked fine. When I install it on my computer everything is fine until I turn the computer off and reboot, and then nothing comes up on the screen. Are there some BIOS settings I'm missing or some conflict I don't know about? - Kennard

Newegg has this card as deactivated, Amazon has it temporarily out of stock, and Tigerdirect used to carry it now it is gone. I ordered mine from Amazon last May 25 and it still has not shipped. What's happening to this card??

    ^same!
    BUMP!
I ordered this card in one online shop on the 30th of June. It was one of the very few shops in Germany where it was listed as available. The next day I got a message that the card would be delivered on the 13th of JULY!
On the 13th of July I received a mail from the shop, that the card won't be shipped until the 27th. In the meantime no online shop had this card listed as available!
I cancelled my order on the 13th and ordered from another place where I was assured that a shipping was underway due 21st. Yesterday I called them only to find out that the shipment has been delayed. It is now expected in 11 days! This means that they are expecting the cards around the 1st of AUGUST! You cannot find an MSI N570 GTX Twin Frozr III PE OC in any online shop in Germany to this day.
I ordered my card on the 30th of June and it will be more than a month before I get it. This card vanished from the market here for the whole month of July. As a passionate fan and potential customer, I'd very much appreciate an explanation.
