GTX680-Mac_What are the Correct Drivers for 10.8.5?

GTX680 on MacPro5, mid 2010.... and having issues. What are the correct drivers for Mac GeForce GTX680? And is there another driver for the OS as well? Or not in use when using GTX?
I can not export without my system completely shutting down....many attempts...AME and direct. Using CUDA.

3min seq...5760x864...I know large. Edit clips...mostly mp4 with lots of repo and scaling but no other FX. Export to h284 or mp4 crashes system...tried OpenCL...CUDA...AME and Direct...but some success (vry slow) with softwr only. Can not export. Did cineform in 30sec chunk and struggle thru it.
Tried different CUDA versions...reinstalled CC2014_2
Any ideas?

Yes, the driver file at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1398 allowed me to finally install my printer, but does Apple have _any idea_ how long it takes to download a 1.08GB file over a 1.5mbps DSL connection?
Never mind how much of my pricey new SSD is being consumed by the resulting 1.80GB of driver files all for _one_ printer driver that should maybe occupy 200K?
Or that the primary article on OS X printer drivers (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669) -- which does indicate that the Artisan 830 is supported -- does not mention or link to the driver file that's needed to make it work?
Or what a complete violation of Apple's "it just works" gestalt it is to be confronted with the above Catch-22 and to have to search the web and then go through all of the above to make a new laptop talk to a two-year-old printer?
Yes, my printer now works, and yes, Apple's Support Communities were instrumental in getting to this point. But spending all morning (plus download time) getting a printer driver installed tastes way too much like I paid for Apple and got Microsquish.

I will give just hints rest you have to think and act not about Interview quotations but SAP MM career.
There are couple of guys and all of them has got job, first as a SAP testing, as SAP freshers in HCL/HP India etc.
Later on they have learnt all the business process in project and all the E2E cycles in MM/SD/FICO etc.
Now they are working on support projects and roll out projects.
I think there are ways and we need to understand how to explore all the job possibilities.
Please have good knowledge and definitely you will succeed. Short cuts are not always the way to success.

I am shooting full HD at 23s97 fps.. tried making a preset for the Canon but when I import fils FCP always wants to change to appropriate settings for this file type but doesn't tell me what that is...

And also, why doesn't the camera show up on the desktop/in the menus when attached to the mac? I have ro use EOS utility every time I want to get anything off of the camera... and FCP doesn't see it either. That's just not right - FCP MUST recognise my camera!! : (

Not sure what you mean with the following, looks like a word dropped?
I have ro use EOS utility every time I want to get anything off of the camera...
Anyway, some more specs on your system could help point where the issue is. With the new Plug-In by Canon you can Log & Transfer from the Flash Card (not sure how you connected the camera.) Alternatively you could just drag the files in (but make sure to keep all files such as THM in case you use Log and Transfer later.)
Generally it is best to transcode to Pro Res to be able to work with the files in Final Cut. (Log & Transfer should do that, or using Compressor/Mpeg Streamclip.)
It (Final Cut) is probably changing the timeline to match the codec, or depending on your last preset used, just switching things around. In other words if you were editing in DV and had a set up for that, new sequences would default to that and if you try to ad anything else you will get the message.
Take a look at the search over there -> to look for the Canon 5D threads for some more info.
What I would do is just pull one of the clips in to start and look at what the sequence settings are aftr Final Cut changes them for you - they should be fine generally, though you will want to change Codecs to Pro Res.
I like just batch conversion of all my clips from the 5D Markk II and then work from there. (I do not hook up the camera to the computer, just use a card reader.)

There are no good or bad drivers. Maybe you do something wrong.

I can't use a normal gamepad or a mouse because it keeps disconnecting/connecting after random times, and I can't use them.
(HID-Compliant Game Controller keeps showing that warning sign like the driver's not installed when it's disconnecting - on device manager)

Where are the Vista drivers for the WoW Wireless headset?

I just got the World of Warcraft wireless headset - but the link in the quick start (http://www.soundblaster.com/WorldofW...irelessHeadset) does not direct me to a VALID Windows driver web site.
It has two links - one for Windows (which explicitly states that it supports Vista), one for Mac. Both take me to the Mac driver package.
When I use the "Software AutoUpdate" to find the right drivers, it tells me that "Windows Vista is currently not supported"
How do I get the Vista (64bit) drivers for this thing?
I want to use it, but if I can't get drivers - I'll have to return it.

What are the correct steps for installing SP1 over Sharepoint 2010

Hi,
I have SharePoint 2010 (Release To Manufacturing) environment and am planning to to upgrade it to SP1. May I please know the correct steps
to install SP1 on to my environment(2WFE + 2APP servers & 64 bit OS).

SP2 provides key updates and fixes across our servers, services and applications including security,
stability, and performance enhancements and provides better compatibility with Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10, Office 2013, and SharePoint 2013.
also your Sharepoint is upto date version, you will get all the functionality which
you will losing since you are prior to SP1.
i.e Site Recycle bin,
Content Deployment fixes, . you can go throw all the kB articles which will tell you what fixes in it.

What Vaio Models Are The Updated Drivers For Windows 10 Going To Be Compatible With?

I have a Sony Vaio (Model Number: VPCEJ16FX) and am wondering what models of Vaio will be supported by the updated drivers?

I understand that Sony is not to support endless models of the computers that have been placed by them out on the open market, however Microsoft itself has found a need to include windows 7 computers within their list of computers eligible for a free upgrade. As such, when Sony tells us that they will not participate in the upgrade, they essentially tell me that if they create a product that fails, that they will not support it at all, and leave all their loyal customers to fend for themselves. I have been a long time supporter of Sony and have unbelieveably been an ambassador for their company, for years since I was a child, I owned Sony Walkmen, minidisc players, DVD players, televisions, ALL OF MY COMPUTERS EVER WERE SONY, sony rewards, sony wheelers (wheel of fortune) club, Countless car stereos, home stereos, Sony dream machine alarm clocks in every room, playstation, PS2, PS3, periferals, cases, Imagestation, Sony eMarker, many of which have failed, and we accepted those failures in fact and still continued on supporting your innovation and knowhow because you continued support or somehow some way still found a way to make things right, KEEPING OUR LOYALTY!!!! And now we find ourselves here, a company that's failing little by little, when I see that they do not support drivers for computers they built NOT THAT LONG AGO, and which Microsoft themselves will support, it makes me wonder. Why should I continue with a brand that keeps facing triumphant failures and doesn't seem to care anymore about the people reliying on what products the company has put out on the market? Is this the beginning of a trend we will see from now on? I REALLY REALLY hope not. You make great products but when something goes wrong if you do not support it and make it right, you're worthless. Why? Because something eventually goes wrong with even the best of things, and you need to learn again how to make things right. Windows 10 has been in the works for some time now, and I know that Sony still had access to developer models for almost a year now, and yet still we have to wait another month. I expect nothing but the best from this company, because they set the standard so high. Glass half full, you built me a fantastic computer that still works great everyday! You need to support and recognise that, use it as a testament, an advertisement that you build great things, keep your flame alive, keep supporting, improving, developing and innovating, and you will find your numbers will turn around. I hope to see some Win 10 drivers, patches, SOMETHING available in the not too distant future that somewhat mirrors what microsoft is ready to support. Thank you.

What are the correct permissions for the Home folder?

Since buying my first mac (G4 iMac) I've since bought 2 other macs & transferred my home folder from the older computer each time. Since then I've messed around with the permissions of the Home folder a few times to try share files & folders between my Windows PCs. So the permissions of the Home folder on all computers could be messed up a little.
I want to set up permissions how they should be set up as default.
I created another user account with admin priveliges & it looks like the Home folder should be set up as follows:
Owner: 'my name'
Access: Read & Write
Group: admin or 'my name'
Access: Read only
Others: Read only
And the sub folders (Documents, Pictures etc.) should be set up as follows:
Owner: 'my name'
Access: Read & Write
Group: admin or 'my name'
Access: No access
Others: No accesss
Is this correct, & if so shall I just set permissions on my Home folder exactly the same as the new account I set up?
Or is there some way of resetting permissions for the Home folder?
(I know repairing permissions with Disk Utility doesn't do this).

Mac OS X does not have a built-in way of doing this, but you can make one yourself. Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and enter the following:
