Guessing this is a battery problem. Any help?
I've had my 3G iPod for a little over 2 years now, and the battery life has dimished significantly. Recently, after a few hours of playing, it'll just crap out without the 'Low Battery. Please Recharge' message, it goes out just like I reset it. When it turns back on and I try to play a song, it dies again right as I select the song, but if I try long enough, I can usually get a song to play. My guess is that the battery's too weak to spin the drive, but any help you have would be much appreciated.
Extra question: If I ended up having to pay the 249 for a replacement, would it be another 3G or would it be a video?
It does sound to me like its a dead battery, but on the other hand im not ipod tech. as jeff said you can replace it on your own if you desire.. if you are not comfortable with trying to replace it on your own you could send it in to a ipod repair company and have them do it..

I had this issue. I went to c:\program files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\
I renamed my plugins folder to plugins.old.
It recreated the Plugins folder and all was good again. I have since reinstalled the plugins I've been prompted to install. -

A liquid damaged iPhone 4 can be replaced by Apple for $149.
By the way... and electrical short can be dangerous, creating a fire or explosion hazard. You can see the short that's affecting the flash... It's the short you may not see that's affecting the battery and/or charging circuitry that's the problem.

I have had to replace a faulty hard-drive on my imac. Some applications (incl iphoto) are telling me that my OSX (10.82?) isnt recent enough to use the application. I need 10.9. I have upgraded to Maverick but this remains the case. Any help?

Just upgraded to Lion, how can I use my microsoft office especially excel. I'm getting messages that it's no longer supported. This is a BIG problem. Help, please.
Apple has made a serious error not advising people when the Lion upgrade occurs that their present software may/will not be compatible and advise the user of such before and allow a opt out.
All you can do (besides upgrading all your software) is backup your data off the machine (not to TimeMachine) and disconnect all drives.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk and erase your makers hard drive on the far left, (that's the entire drive of everything)
Partition tab: Option: GUID, format OS X extended and click apply so you get a new GUID (replacing the Lion one or trouble occurs later)
Quit and install 10.6, then go through setup and use the same name as before, then update to 10.6.8
Then c boot off the 10.6 disk again and use Disk Utility to Repair the disk the 10.6.8 update messed up.
Then install all your programs again from fresh sources and lastly your user files in the same main user folders as before (music, pictures, documents etc.)
Done as described will get you back just like it was before as close as possible, make SURE to use the same username or else your iTunes and other files get all messed up. Password and drive name can be different though if you wish.
Note: if you've upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6, then you don't get the free iLife as it's not on the 10.6.3 white disks, only on the disks that came with your machine. So that will have to be purchased and reinstalled or use Pacifist to extract it from the 10.5 disks.

After importing a small group of photo's I noticed that aperture didn't create a project for them as usual. The only place I could see them was in last imported. While last importwas open I selected the photo's and told aperture to creat a new project using the selected one's. I named the project with the date using all cap's so I would know which one it was. What I have now is my whole library showing up in this one project. If I import more pictures It does two things. A new project is created as it normally does. These new thumbnails also show up in the problem project. I tested to see what would happen if I deleted one old picture while the problem project was open. It went to the trash. It was also removed from its original project. If I ignore this what seems to happen when importing at this time is that a new project is created that you can open, it acts normal. The file only contains the correct amount pictures. If I then go to the problem project the thrumbnails show here also.
About 6 mos ago I switch to Aperture from iphoto. I never combined the two libraries. I have around twelve thousand photo's. December 1st I backed up my imac with Time Machine. I don't want to back up again until I get this problem in check.

I'm using Mac OSX 10.7.5
No the one with the caps seems to be working normally.This project with the caps now has four files. Originally I created it with about fifteen. I deleted eleven of them and edited the remaining four. The four files each have one version and its original. It wasn't until after I completed this work that I noticed the privious project when opened and scrolled had the entire library in it.
The test I did went like this. With the problem opened I deleted one file that I new existed prior to this problem. I than opened that project that I new it was from to see if it got deleted and found it gone and moved to trash. I think that tells me that if I delete all the files in the problem project I'll be in trouble. I also have inported to projects each with one file that I edited. They are working fine. I took a look in the problem project and this last
two imports show the thumdnails in it.
Currently on my Hard Drive I have 275 GB free space. My photo's take up 138 GB. As I said on Dec. 1st I backed up the system using time machine. So all of Dec. and part of Jan. inports won't be on it. I could work around the problem project and move those file to a safe place. I think it best not to back up the system with Time Machine until I'm confident the Aperture is runing properly. I'm happy that I control these system backups manually.
I'll need to find out how to copy the Aperture library to another place. I'm sure I can poke around and fined out the process.

I've got a problem with our WLC 4402.
We have a big network with only Cisco devices (routers, switches, wlc's ....). every thing is running fantastic a part from the following issue:
I've a lot of Vlans, one of them called AVlan. if I connect devices anywhere in the building (pcs, laptops,.....) to this Vlan "using wired connections /cat5 cables" , all devices can see each other and transfare files, documents among them, but if I connect the same devices using the same Vlan (Avlan) but through wireless system, non of the devices can see anyother "connected" device (every pc can see only it's shared folders)!!!!. I've checked everything on the wireless controller (4402-25) but can't find the reason for this issue. It is very important for us to get all devices connected to this Vlan to be able to "talk to eachother" because we have a file server in the same Vlan,which we use for transfering files from / to this server and among the devices on the same Vlan ( as I mentioned before it workes perfectly on wired network on the same Vlan).

Iphone 4s battery problems PLEASE HELP
I got my 4s about a week ago. The first couple of days i noticed the battery would go down pretty quick. So i looked online and seen all these different ways to save battery life by switching the settings around. I did all of the recommended changes ( location, brightness, etc.) i had already charged the phone the same way i would charge any phone before i read the full discharge full recharge. I did that two nights in a row and since then i let it get to atleast 2% before i charge it. Last night i put it on the charger around 20% maybe a little more and it definatley overcharged for an hour or two before i took it off. When i go to work i leave it in my locker and go on it during breaks. Normally it would never change the % while on standby and it would go down 1 maybe 2% while i use it. Today by the time it was lunch break it was down to 80%. As i type this my battery is at 64% with 2 hours and 31 minutes usage and 16 hours, 5 minutes of standby.
What happened to it? It bothers me so much cause i love the phone and it was doing good until today.
I JUST NOTICED that there is a new software update iOS 5.1.1. Could this sudden battery problem have occured because i am running older software??!!You've probabaly just installed and left running more applications. Applications dont entirely close when you hit the home screen. You've probabaly notice when you turn on your phone you have to wait through the loading screen for many applications. After that they sit on the memory of the phone, and the phone uses some battery retaining the state of each application. In Stand-By and still when powered down, your battery will slowly drain (less so when powered down).
You may want to start force closing apps or occasionally powering down your iPhone. Additionally, the battery is not a NiCad battery where you can't charge it when it's at 80% or you'll risk causing the "battery memory" to max at 80%. The iPhone batteries are fine to be charged when they're at 95%. That said, Apple does recommend dispersing the battery to 0% atleast once a month. These batteries do have a battery charge cycle, ie: after so many charges the drain will begin to occur, but it's alot better than say your R/C car battery, or your typical rechargable triple 'A' battery.
On another note, I do recommend you run the latest updates, if there ever is a battery issue and they know about it, they'll try to address the issue. -
I was relieved and not at all surprised to find out that Apple was recalling certain iPhone 5s for battery replacement. I was sure mine was one affected. (My battery doesn't last more than 4-5 hours after a full charge at normal use.)
Having entered my serial number on this page: https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/ I was told that my phone wasn't eligible.
I sincerely think my phone has a defective battery and that the range of serial numbers should be broadened beyond what Apple calls a "very small percentage of iPhone 5 devices."
Anyone know how I can get Apple to help here?I have the same problem with a iPhone 5c which was purchased last fall (2013) after the Replacement Program time frame. It drains with minimal use.
We have several iPhone4's, 2-3 years old, which have never had this issue.
From reading all of these responses/questions, Apple really needs to address this issue for all 5's. This is a big problem, when the phone is completely unreliable. -

I updated Itunes a while ago from 9. something to 10.3
When i did this my computer usage went to 100% and basically froze. The only way to get computer working was to end tasks and processes in task manager.
I uninstalled itunes and then reinstalled it. since doing this i cannot even get itunes to open???

You may have to find the download folder for the browser you are using and launch the installer from there. Another option you may want to try is using another browser to download and install iTunes. That could be the reason if you have a weak cellular data signal. -
What is this noise, and battery problem on Iphone 4S
There was a battery problem on Iphone 4s so i was worried to buy it, but once I heard that Apple published new ios 5.0.1, I went down to the Apple store near to my house, and I bought Iphone 4S. To Reset, hold both the Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts itself, ignore the "slide to power off", let the iPhone restart itself. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. If not better, try tap Settings App > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. The set up your iPhone again. If not better, you may need to Restore the iPhone Firmware, I would perform this with iTunes on your computer.
