Guest Configuration after provisioning

Hi forum
I'm running Oracle VM 3.1 and I have a business requirement,as follows :
As soon as the guest is up (or part of its cloning) I need to setup some configuration parameters.
I am using a template as the source of my VM's.
The template includes some in-house software that needs to be configured per VM guest (the software requires guest IP for the configuration).
Any ideas how to achieve this?

We're using Version 11.1.1.3. I'm not sure if there are any patches to apply but I'll run it by our technician.
For now, I've found a workaround. I deprovision access to the server to that user, refresh security in Essbase, reprovision with Server access, refresh again, and then the user appears in my list. It's tedious, but at least it works!

Hello all,
Is it possible to make in CUP additional approver step after provisioning new user (via CUA)?
The goal is to have a manual step in SAP HR to assign structural authorization based on request comments after new user is created in HR system with approved roles. HR employee should do this step and close a CUP request only after that.

Hi,
As Alpesh mentioned it is not possible in CUP/AE.
Once the CUP workflow completed all the stages approvals, the userid is created in target systems and an email will be sent out to the corresponding user (if auto-user provisioning enabled in CUP configuration)(notifications to other people too depending on the CUP configuration).
You could try forwarding the successful userid creation email notification to HRgroup email id, HR will assign structural profile and then forward the email to the corresponding user. ( I never tried this scenario - just a thought).

That's usually a sign that your phone was hacked/jailbroken, and iTunes has detected such, errored out, preventing your phone from activating. Since Apple does not support hacking/jailbreaking, that's what happens, by design.
We can't help you here, as Apple owns this forum. You'll have to go elsewhere.

Can I restore to a backup made in iTunes? You can back up an iPad that was set up in iTunes in Configurator and use that as back up in Configurator.

Cannot save the configuration after zone changing.

The customer is trying to save the configuration after a Zone changing. The error message is the following:

The root cause is the compact flash card. There was a software fix attempted in 3.0.2 but is not 100%. If the problem shows up again, the reload will clear it, but the ultimate fix is to replace the compact flash card with a new one. In some instances, based on your service provider, this may be a complete chassis replacement. This requires license re-homing as licenses are tied to the chassis serial number. I believe it has to do with the number of writes to the CF card. At some point, the card goes into a read only state and reload is the only option to clear it.

SF300-24 is not saving configuration after reboot

I have a couple of SF300-24 switches. When I made needed configurations using CLI or GUI and then saved all configurations. The problem is that switches do not save configurations after reboot. Please assist.

I guess you have performed the function to copy the running configuration to the startup configuration as per the screen capture below.
The current released version of code does not have a supported CLI only a menu accessable via console, SSH or telnet. New code coming out this month supports a CLI, so I am surprised by your comments regarding CLI.
If you have a early beta release of software version 1.1 with CLI, I would suggest you call into the Small Business Support Center to get the problem looked at.
I am using the beta code on my ten port SG300 and 48 port SF300 , but had no difficulty saving configurations in old or beta versions of firmware.

Cisco 2611 loosing configuration after router restart

Hello,
I have a router at a customer that looses its configuration after a restart.
I of course made a write mem, and it looks like this has been before.
Is there anything to check (hard/soft) befoire changing the router?

Check to see the configuration register value. You can do that by issuing the command 'show version'. At the bottom of the output of the command you will see the config-register value. Under normal circumstances this value should be 0x2102. If you see something like 0x2142 it means that the router is going to ignore the start-up configuration.
If the config-register value is indeed incorrect then you need to change it to 0x2102 by:
Router# copy start run
Router# config t
Router(config)# config-register 0x2102
Router(config)# exit
Router# wr mem
Router# reload
After the reload it should come up with the right config; that is if the problem was indeed with the configuration register.

if that was a bug report, then Apple might or might not see it here. There's a Provide Server Feedback in the menus of Server.app, if you'd like to let the Server.app folks know about the upgrade problems I've encountered.
If you're looking for help resetting the web sites (I'm not clear if you're reporting a bug or looking for help with this), then check Server.app for where the files should be (the default location is under /Library/Server/Web/Data directory) and see where your current sites are stored in the file system, establish the Site via Server.app (usually with a directory under the /Library/Server/Web/Data path) and move the contents over to the new location.
As for the Outlook comment in your footer, Microsoft Outlook also generally needs to have the FQDN requirements removed in the SMTP HELO processing. Outlook doesn't send that, and the default Postfix configuration will reject those connections as spam. Here's a discussion of how to do this. (I don't see a path to the HELO processing via sudo serveradmin settings mail:postfix commands.)

Are you saying that each time you restart Elements the files are shown missing again? This is strange, you can try Catalog Recover by selecting File->Catalog->Recover option and see if that helps.

How to use custom pipeline dlls in Biztalk Projects so that they appear in the send/receive pipeline configuration after deployment?

I have a existing Biztalk application that uses custom pipelines for receiving excel files. I have the dll of that custom pipeline. Now i created another BT application that needs to use that same custom pipeline. But after i deploy the application in
Biztalk, i can't see the pipeline available in Receive pipeline configuration combo box during configuration. I have referenced the custom pipeline dll in my project before deploying, but that doesn't help. I also copied the dll in the C:\Program Files
(x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\Pipeline Components folder and C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 folder, but that doesn't make the pipelines appear during configuration too.
Can anyone give any idea on how can i use these custom pipeline dlls in project so that they appear in configuration after deployment?

If you plan on using the deployed pipeline across multiple applications in BizTalk, the BizTalk Application (using the BizTalk Server Administration Console) should have the other application [where the pipeline is deployed] as reference.
For e.g.: Custom Pipeline (myCustomPipeline) part of a BizTalk Project (dll - myCustomProject.dll) deployed under Application [Some Application] also to be used in another BizTalk Application [Some Other Applicaiton] then using BizTalk Server Administartor
right click the "Some Other Application" and select "Properties"
on the "Properties" page, left hand side, select "References"
on the right-hand side, use "Add" to add the "Some Project" as a reference.
Doing so will ensure that ALL resources (maps, schemas, orchestrations, send ports, receive locations, rules, etc.) deployed for "Some Application" are available/referensible in "Some Other Application".

Guest configuration with WLC

i am using WLC 4402 with firmware 5.1 and 1252 Access Point.
i am in trouble to configure guest access with the WLC.
i have configured interface in WLC under CONTROLLER->INTERFACES->GUEST.
WHEN I SELECT THIS INTERFACE AS GUEST IT DOESN'T TAKE IP ADDRESS INFORMATION. IN THIS CASE I HAVE TO UNCHECK GUEST SELECTION BOX.
AND I GOT DYNAMIC INTERFACE WITHOUT IP ADDRESS.
AFTER DOING THIS I CREATE WLAN NAMED GUEST AND ENABLED IT.
i have put guest interface as a ingress interface and management as egress interface and applied web auth successfully but still it is not showing me guest SSID when i try to search it.
help me

Cannot ping SPA 8800 after provisioning with BE3000

If you are unable to ping the IP address of the SPA 8800 (when connected to a Cisco SMB switch) after it had already been provisioned with the BE3000, it is likely that you are hitting a known issue with the SPA 8800/BE3000. To resolve the issue enable CDP by doing the following
- Connect your PC directly to the Aux port on the SPA 8800. It will provide you an IP address.
- Look up the default gateway of your PC. Plug the IP into a browser and access the SPA 8800. Click on Admin User and Advanced ( Top right had corner of screen)
- Disable the TFTP provisoning for SPA 8800 (Voice-> Provisioning) and enable CDP (Network-> WAN Status-> Enable CDP).
After you save and exit, you should now be able to ping the SPA 8800. This bug is likely to be resolved in the next version of the BE3K (8.6.5).

For Internet issue first question, is it working from directly from router?
For Internet issue couple of suggestions
1)NAT configuration is not looking fine. Please add below.

ip nat outside

ip nat inside
2) I hope your default route should be pointing to ISP router..So ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.2.0 is correct? Try changing this as below
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Gi0/1
