Do you check in debugging whether the body.htm is not getting excuted? if not pls do check it and can u tell me what are you using is it a page with flowlogic or with MVC concept.

BSP HAP_DOCUMENT in 6.0 not returning body of Appraisal document.

We have just upgraded to SAP 6.0. We had previously copied SAP BSP "HAP_DOCUMENT" to ZHR_HAP_DOC and made some minor changes. We have two custom Apprasial templates that we use. With this upgrade, The BSP is working for one template but only display header data for the other one. It seems like it is not executing the Body.htm view for this template. All of this same functionality works fine with SAP 5.0. It is after the upgrade we are having this issue.
I have tried everything I could and no sure where to go from here. Any help is appreciated.

Error in BSP HAP_DOCUMENT

Hello All,
I have to disply the data of appraisal as appraisee on ess .For this i useed page documents_recieved of bsp HAP_DOCUMENT and attached it to Iview on the ESS portal .but once i am clicking on the ivew i am getting following error :
The following error text was processed in the system:
BSP Exception: the Application Name BSP-Application in URL /sap/bc/bsp/sap/BSP-Application/BSP-Page?sap-syscmd=nocookie&sap-client=600&sap-language=EN&style_sheet=http%3A%2F%2Fsap-portal%3A50000%2Firj%2Fportalapps%2Fcom.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata%2Fthemes%2Fportal%2Fth_ThomasCook%2Fcontrols%2Fcontrols_ie6 is invalid.

I dont think that is possible.
ESS is based on netweaver platform, and we can show a BSP page in that.
But the structure of HAP document is completely different where in there are many documents and also there is a controller which also plays a crutial role.

I browsed through some threads and found out the code for this, but wanted to know which page/controller method I should write in my code. This functionality is required in both Manager page and in Employee page.. Could someone help me on this, it would be very helpful...

MSS - Performance Management Document (BSP HAP_DOCUMENT)

Hello everyone,
For some reason, when I click on MSS -> TEAM, and navigate to the Performance Management Document, nothing is showing on the browser.
Only the pale blue color, nothing else.
As a assigned manager role, I have 2 document to evaluate, and I click on the number 2. But as I said, only a new windows with the title "Performance Management Document" and pale blue color opens.
I know this uses the BSP HAP_DOCUMENT, it is activated.
What is missing?

L9 - GUi customization minor changes

Some good new about L9. The customization of the GUI by replacing specific image files inside app's Package Content is still working.
If you feel that Logic Pro requires at least some decent dB scales and LED metering on the Channel Strip Fader to be called a ProApp, just do it yourself.
L9 however changed the folder structure of it's Framework directories a little bit. So here is a quick link to a zip file with the images. I placed the images into two folders with their name reflecting the directory path to the final folder where to put the images. You open the treasure door (like any other OSX app) by right clicking on the Logic app and selecting "Show Package Content"
I will update the data on my Manuals page (http://rothermich.com/Manuals/) in the next couple of days, but that zip file here will have all the images that you need.

For those of you who haven't seen what is possible, here is a screenshot with the modified GUI. And please, if you have a different color preference, don't ***** around, either ignore it or create your own, it is pretty simple.

No that was not necessary.
Logic 8 finally introduced a dB scale in the mixer. However only one at the left side and not for each fader. So if you have a small screen or a lot of track s, that dB scale is out of sight anyway.
I just imported a screenshot of that scale into Photoshop and used it as a reference.
You have to make sure that you select linear dB scale (right click on Logic's scale), because I changed only that one.

Delegated Admin GUI customization

The Delegated Admin GUI is not always very convenient in its default settings.
For a couple of short examples that annoy me while I'm installing and migrating to this server:
1) the user list is split by 10's of users per page or all users on one page, and 10 accounts per page is the default;
2) I can search for users by their email addresses (and that's often more convenient than guessing/remembering what form of the name was entered), but I always have to select that option from a dropdown list, and be careful to type in the partial address before (or between) the wildcard asterisks, etc.
Is it possible to provide some customization to the GUI - i.e. pre-selected value for "All users on one page", or perhaps better - an increased amount (100 instead of 10); preselect "Search by email" and enter two asterisks as the search field value to easily search for partial addresses (and process a double-asterisk as a single-asterisk - search for everyone - for reverse compatibility), etc?
I believe these types of customizations should be easy to do, is that somehow supported/configured.
The harder types of customizations i thought of (which may include coding) would be:
1) extend/configure the list of attributes to search for (i.e. email doesn't seem to include aliases), and
2) adding another default option - "Search by all of these attributes"

From memory they were planning on addressing this limitation at some stage but it appears to have dropped off the developers "radar".

Print Problem in Appraisal BSP HAP_DOCUMENT

Hi,
I'am using HAP_DOCUMNET Biving SP's for appraisal.I created BSP iviews in EP and i'am using them.
There is a problem i'am facing in this BSP's,when i click on PRINT after creating Appraisal,it will ask me to either open or save in pdf.
But when i open or save it and open it is giving me this message in Adobe
"Acrobat could not open u2018webforms.pdfu2019 because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasnu2019t correctly decoded).
To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document to Adobe PDF."
Any body please guide me with a solution.

Launching GUI transactions from BSP

Dear Gurus,
I have requirement to launch ECC Transaction from CRM Web Client UI. Now, i dont want ITS based version of ECC version but WIn GUI version. I found Wiki link below which suggests the steps however it does not work.
I have exactly same requirement in CRM 7.0 (Support Pack Level 5) and i implemented same steps as desribed in the article. However I am facing issues tha It first asks for the right applicaiton to open object, i choose SAP Applicaiton exe file but later it gives error -
Erro Statusing "C:\Users\windowsloginid\App Data\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\2DG74TFC\win_gui[1].sap'(rc=-2)"
Here win_gui is the name of .HTM page with flow logic. I copied all the code in Page Layout and i am also not able to debug this as breakpoint does not hit.
Please suggest as this is something really urgnet for me.

I am able to launch GUI for Windows though SAPshortcut method. I am also able to pass the Tx type and sales area on VA21 screen and skipping the first screen. However Now I am facing issue to pass customer number on VA21. I am using KUAGV-KUNNR field to populate customer but it never works. KUAGV-KUNNR buffer is emplty even when i am passing this through shortcut.
Please suggest.

Advanced Sort, Filter (color, image size), DUPLICATES, face recognition, GUI customizeability

here are some of my Lightroom Feature Requests (maybe later more):
- Filter based on image size. Example: show me all photos with a resolution of 1600x1200 or less.
- More complex filtering. Example: show me all photos from the Collection A that are tagged with keyword 'k1' and 'k2' but not with keyword 'k3' and that are in the date range d1-d2 and were made with camera model X.
- Automatic portrait/human face recognition
- Sort and filter by color! Example: show me all photos that are mostly green (blue, yellow, red, ...)
- Intelligent recognition and optional deletion of duplicates. Calculate some kind of fingerprint for each photo (file size won't do I guess) so that it will be possible to recognize duplicates EVEN if they are of different image resolution or orientation (landscape, portrait), i.e. really based on CONTENT of the image!
- Make the components in the side panels movable so that the user can arrange his/her own panel with the components he uses most and on that side of the screen where he wants it.
Besides that: I LOVE Lightroom. A GREAT product!! Use it A LOT!

This should be relatively easy to do. Most other DAMs in the market, e.g. ACDSee, do have this feature. It doesn't really becomes a real database until you have this feature.

Another great feature in ACDSee. Somehow it finds duplicates, even if filenames and dates are different, shows the different photos and gives you an option on what to do.

OIM 11g GUI customization

In OIM 11g when we create a request of type Modify provision Resource I can see "Description" filed under Request Details -> Requested Resources tab. Please let me know how to hide this description field for all users?

I have added the action listener and redeployed ear file as well. After all when I click on menu item it saying method not found as mentioned below.

Logic GUI Customization - Example

Hello fellow logicians!
I've been using Logic Pro 8 with a custom skin for some time now. And being quite happy with the looks even after longer exposure I'd like to share my experience. You can find a screenshot here:

JavaScript onKeyUp() not working in a BSP integrated in SAP GUI

hi everybody.
we want to run a bsp application in sap gui using the Javascript based WYMeditor.(http://www.wymeditor.org/) But thought this wysiwyg editor is working fine while testing in a seperate browser window it won't work while integrated in SAP GUI.
It seems that the editor reacts with the Javascript onKeyUp() method to the user's input and that this won't work while running in SAP GUI because the keyboard events are intercepted by the SAP GUI.
The BSP is integrated in the GUI using a cl_gui_custom_container control and its SHOW_URL method.
We would be glad if anyone could help. Thanks in adavance!

hmm... seems that nobody have had such a problem before.
the strange thing is that the editor works fine when the website is loaded the first time. but when any event is triggered due to the click of a button and the site is loaded again, the editor won't work. and the html-code and javascript is exactly the same!
so what happens when the eventing (do_handle_event) of the mvc model of the bsp is triggered? i would be glad if anyone would have some ideas.

HAP_DOCUMENT BSP redirect using the BADI HRHAP00_BSP_TMPL

Hi all,
Below is my issue:
Last year, We have modified the BSP HAP_DOCUMENT by copying it to Y_HAP_DOCUMENT. Now we had to make further changes to the BSP which had to be template specific.
So we used the BADI HRHAP00_BSP_TMPL to redirect the document to a new BSP Y_HAP_DOCUMENT_V1.
The iviews are pointing to the BSP Y_HAP_DOCUMENT, but when the BADI is hit its getting redirected to the V1 BSP.
But the issue is that whenever the redirect BSP is used, the error messages are getting killed.
Please let me know if anyone had a similar issue and if they were able to solve the issue.

Sorry that i got back to you this late. Have you solved the issue?
whenever we redirect using the badi for hap_document the control starts from layout_alternative.htm view instead of the layout_sap_standard.htm. So if you copy paste the code from the sap standard view you will be able to redirect it.
