no crash ids since this is version 3.6, the only version that doesn't crash, and I have to use Firefox for work stuff.
I have submitted over a hundred crash reports and included my email, but no one has ever contacted me with any help. This has been going on for weeks. I have been forced to use an outdated version of FF because no one has bother to get back to me. I would be happy to update to 14 and start the crash cycle again if someone wants to give me some suggestions I haven't tried already.
BTW, no font conflicts or RAM problems, (someone else's issue)Maybe you did't understand my previous statement. There are no crashes in FF 3.6, There is no previous evidence FF 14 was ever here, I completely uninstalled all trace of Firefox, no app data, no preferences, no cache. I will upgrade to FF14 so I can send IDs,
so here ya go.

I am not able to add or remove bookmarks. The bookmarks library is empty. I can't restore to any back up bookmarks. I restarted in safe mode. No bookmarks. I reset Firefox. No bookmarks. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No bookmarks. I did a Revo Uninstall and cleared the registry. No bookmarks. I deleted the localstore.rdf. No bookmarks. This is kinda a deal breaker for me. I might have to go to Chrome or IE.
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

How can I completely remove and/or disable the Private Browsing feature in 3.6?
I want to run my browser without the Private Browsing feature even usable. Is there a way to not only remove the feature, but also to remove it from the Tools menu?
There is no built-in way to remove or disable the feature. You can hide the menu options but the keyboard shortcut to start private browsing will still work. For details see this thread - [https://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_offset=0&comments_threadId=0&comments_parentId=576657&comments_threshold=0&thread_sort_mode=commentDate_asc&forumId=1&time_control=3600#threadId576657 How do i block the private browsing option from my children?]
Even with the menu options hidden it is still possible to delete browsing history. If you want to keep track of all sites visited you will need an external option. If this is to keep track of children using the internet, one option is the [http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ K9 Web Protection - Free Internet Filter and Parental Control Software]. -
I noticed this a couple of days ago but my firefox appears 'distorted' almost like everything is scribbled. The text isn't smooth or distinct, all borders don't appear even and it persists through all menus, sub-menus, every website, etc.
No other software on my system is experiencing this, and my laptop install of Firefox is just fine. I have a screenshot to compare between FF7.0.1 and the most recent build of Chrome.
While this only started a few days ago I did recently install a new video card, ATI HD 6750, however no other software is affected in the same way.
I've attempted to run a full removal of Firefox and reinstall but the problem persists after reinstallation.
Any help would be greatly appreciatedAdditional:
I ran FF in safe mode and that corrected the visual corruption but there were no differences in add-ons etc so still no idea what the fundamental cause of the issue is. Please see attached screenshot for clarity -
How to completely remove safari and all its files?
I have Windows Vista and I need to COMPLETELY remove Safari and ALL its files. It is important that it is completely removed, and I've already tried simply uninstalling (from "uninstall a program" in the control panel)it but it doesn't get rid of EVERYTHING safari. I think some of the files are damaged or something because Safari won't open. How would I do this?
Message was edited by: Friends of AppleJust go into Control panel and Uninstall programs. Select Safari and select uninstall.

I have had Itunes on my pc for years. Worked fine last night. Today it gave me a message missing MSVCR80.dll, tried reinstalling, didn't work. Removed Itunes completely, reinstalled. Didn't work. Same message. Any fix ideas?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I am totally new to APPLE products and have for years avoided getting anything APPLE due to interface issues with other operations systems. I have unwanted apps and want to completely remove them from my IPhone 3GS with IOS 5.0... I seems that in the past (prior to the IOS 5.0 upgrade) I was able to do this, and now I can't.
Another issue; attempted to download the manual for the IOS 5.0 upgrade, system states that it has downloaded however it's nowhere to be found, hmmmm?First of all where do you want to delete your apps from, your iPhone or iTunes? If you delete your games from iTunes and keep them on your phone, when you connect your iDevice it'll sync, if you delete it from your iPhone and leave it on your iTunes, it'll still sync. So if you want to delete all apps, 1 Delete all apps on your iPhone and 2 delete all apps on iTunes as well. Also when you download apps on your iPhone or computer, iCloud automatically puts them on your devices. About the second issue, to be honest I don't know

How to completely remove mac os and install windows 7 on macbook pro with retina display 15 inch
how to completely remove mac os and install windows 7 on macbook pro with retina display 15 inch
There's not much sense in purchasing a Mac to run only Windows on it. Keep in mind that drivers for Windows are a secondary concern for Apple. While Windows will typicall run fine, things like power managment are not optimized under Windows (you'll get less time on battery while running Windows). You will also not be able to install firmware updates. Firmware updates might be necessary whether you run Windows or OS X as they are updates to the code in your hardware and are not OS-specific. You must be running OS X in order to install a firmware update. You can do this even if you boot off of an external drive with OS X installed on it. At the very least, you should keep just a small partition for OS X on your internal drive.

How do I completely crop a PDF so that the cropped data is removed and the total file size is reduced?
When I use the "Crop" function, the cropped data still remains in the file and there is no reduction in file size. I need a way to truly crop a PDF using Acrobat software. When you export, try to get the full file path or else you will have to do a lot of manual searching.
If you downloaded the picture from Messages, the picture is stored in your User Library/Messages. to make your User Library visible, hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command. Enter ~/Library/Messages/Attachments.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.4. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -
Complete removal of iTunes and QuickTime
If I completely remove iTunes and QuickTime, will all the songs from my music library in iTunes be deleted too? Will they be there when I install iTunes again?
Windows XP ProHi Mihail,
When you delete your installation files (like through Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel, or if you use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility), your song files should be saved.
As long as you don't delete the folder called "iTunes Music" (which is inside another folder above that, called "iTunes"), then your songs will be fine.
By default, I believe iTunes saves its library in your My Documents/My Music folder, although it may be stored elsewhere. You can always go to the "Start" menu on your computer, and chose "Search" to search for your "itunes music" folder.
Regardless, the installation files/folders are separate from your iTunes library files, so they should be safe.
