It supports BI administrators in status monitoring and performance optimizing by providing an overview of the objects and processes in BI systems. It provides BI administrators with a central point of access that is focused on critical situations and allows for navigation to more detailed information and error handling and optimization applications
The motivation behind BI Admin Cockpit is Easy administration for complex Enterprise Data Warehouse. It supports the BI Administrator in various things like status tracking, performance optimization etc. It provides single point of entry with cockpits like Real-time monitors, Runtime Statistics and you can also monitor across the systems. There are drill-down to details to in monitors and even processing options are given. In this way the administration task will become easier and faster. Currently there are 3 main parts in BI Admin Cockpit:

Value Based user guided Navigation Using Dashboard Prompt

Hi all Experts,
I have a different dashboard pages and dashboards for each year sales and so on, like 2001,2002etc in OBIEE 11.1.1.5 answers and dashboard.
My requirement is using dashboard prompt for year need to navigate to that particular dashboard.
for example if I select 2001 should navigate to 2001 Dashboard
if I select 2002 should navigate to 2001 Dashboard.
and for another report for Top 10 Products if I select a product name should navigate to detail product report.
I am not getting idea using guided navigation link,
Please suggest me how we can implement this task into our report.

my suggestion, don't that way..do the below things..
1) for year wise sales report.
keep artificial Time Dimension and try map Date column into all othe fact table and try to use time.date column in the dashboard prompt that prompt will list out all the year like (2001,2002..2020..etc) make this propmpt column should be is prompted in that Answres report --> date column
2) let Product wise report,
report 1 :Product Summary ( call u child report in the column properties -->Interaction--> value Primary interaction--> action link--> select bi content --select it u r report and save it run it.
report 2 :Product Detailed (this report navigation column make sure should be is prompted )

Using Guided Nav. Link to realize requeats swapping in dashboard

I faced a problem when I use the Guided Nav. Link in dashboard,
I want to realize requeats swapping in dashboard.
I have a prompt, there are two values, 'SALES' and 'BUDGET', and I have set a presentation variable named 'pv'.
I have create two request, and each request has included three columns, the 'request1' is including 'YEAR', 'SALES', 'TYPE'.
The 'TYPE' value is 'SALES', and I had set a filter in this request, is equal to 'pv' .
The 'request2' including 'YEAR', 'BUDGET', 'TYPE', The 'TYPE' value is 'BUDGET', and I also had set a filter in this request, is equal to 'pv' .
Now I put the prompt in dashboard, and set two Guided Nav. Link,
one is point to 'request1', specify ‘Reference from Source request’ as ‘Yes’, source request as ‘request1’ , show section as ‘if request returns rows’,
'Request or Dashboard' was point to 'request1'.
Another is point to 'request2', specify ‘Reference from Source request’ as ‘Yes’, source request as ‘request2’ , show section as ‘if request returns rows’,
'Request or Dashboard' was point to 'request2'.
now when I select 'SALES' in prompt, it will show link to 'request1', when I select 'BUDGET', it will show link to 'requeat2'.
I want to ask how can I show the table/chart directly, not only show a link.
How to do it?

Don't use Guided Navigation Link Dashboard object here. Instead use 2 section with Guided Navigation Conditional Section to show the section which inturn will show the reports embedded into it (add these two reports to two different sections) and not the link. Click on section and the conditional navigation option will be there.

Dashboard link is working fine from the Apps Server Machine. But the link is not working from other machines. Do I need to setup machine.domain:<port_number> any where.

B1ic Dashboard Error (500 - Internal Server Error)

Hi all experts,
I was using 9.0 PL 05 and after upgrade to 9.1 PL05 I have got an error message when opening the dashboard: SAP B1iP detected an error:
Emitted HTTP-Code
500 - Internal Server Error
Internal reason
Did not supply an appropriate user-ID integer (Param6)
The integration services is running fine and connected I already checked the connectivity of B1DI and JDBC in SLD and both of them are ok.
May anyone help to tickle this?? Thanks

Getting Dashboard Error

Dear Sir,
I used SAP Addon that is "Dashboard Packaging Wizard".
When i select my own Dashboard then i getting the error like.
The requested dashboard does not exist.
Dashboard:/com.sap.b1.dashboards/0010000106.XXX_Top_10_BPs.DAS0001/default.html
If this dashboard is newly imported, ensure that the SAP Business One EventSender Service
has been started; then wait for several minutes and try again.

Display CRM 2013 Dashboard in SharePoint 2010 Page Viewer web part

Hello,
I am trying to add a simple CRM 2013 dashboard to a SharePoint 2010 web page (Page Viewer web part). The page shows the banner only - the dark blue banner from CRM, but that is it. No data, no headers, etc.
Is this a permissions issue? The SP and CRM servers and user are all on the domain.

I believe I found the answer to this issue. The GUID for the dashboard needs to be copied from customizations/Dashboards in Settings. Then the URL ends up looking [something] like this (note: this is just a sample) -
http://SERVERNAME/ORGNAME/Dashboards/Dashboard.aspx?dashboardid=NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Server name and org name and GUID (sample below shown as "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN") needs to be replaced with the correct GUID of your entity to make the URL valid. This is just a sample, not meant to be used in a production
environment.

if your are using the new Web Application Designer (WAD) you can build your cockpit using web items like charts and tables (just drag&drop) and work with html-tables, -iframes, etc.
all you may need is some html, xml and javascript knowledge.

Cockpit Dashboard Partially Obscured

I've enabled Cockpit and the modules are initializing, but there appears to be a display, or layout problem once the widgets load. As you can see in the screenshot, the there's an extremely large white margin that's obscuring the top of the dashboards. However, if I open a SAP form, such as Sales Order, or Company Details, the white space doesn't block those forms. I'm going to try disabling, and enabling cockpit again to see if that resolve issue, but I'd like to get this posted in case anyone else has encountered this bug.

Dashboard/Cockpit
This Troubleshooting guide is related to connection problems and integration authentication failures.
The problem I am having is after I've already successfully initialized the cockpit. I've included screenshots in my original post to show that it's an aesthetic issue. If I disable the cockpit, the massive white bar margin disappears. When I enable again, the white space shows up again, obscuring the top edges of the widgets, and preventing me from moving, or editing them...
I did fail to mention in my initial post though, that this is a new demo install with SBO 9.1.

Deleting running processes from Guided Procedure runtime

Dear all,
Does anybody know how to delete running process i.e. incomplete process from Guided Procedure runtime dashboards. The administration workset contains archiving & deleting sections but they can only delete if a process is completed or Erronous or Terminated.
In need to delete a running process or incomplete process as some process instances are kicked off and left alone.

when I try to access B1if-webdav with the internet explorer (http://127.0.0.1:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/webdav) I get the following error:

Please check two issue fllowing:
1. Make sure the test connection to B1DI and JDBC is successful. Make sure there is no special char in the password
- Restart SAP Business One Integration Service from windows services and log in again to SAP Business One.
2.The address in the B1iServer name is incorrect
- Use the correct server address and ensure you replace <server_name> with the name or IP of your server not use localhost
you must edit file xcellerator.cfg set xcl.webdav=full. and then you use XMLSpy connect to "http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy/" by B1iadmin user.
and check the note in address..
