Realistically Here There Are Several Components That Need To Be Fixed And I Do Realize That But Instead, Please Provide Me With Facts And Statistics Upon Having Just Everyone's Opinion.
Understand That This Would Become Difficult For Apple Inc. To Provide The Software And Functionality To Work With Guild Wars 2, But Would Be Simpler And Most Effective Instead Of Using BootCamp.

Guild Wars 2 can be installed on a MacBook Pro ( Mid-2009 ) using Wine; however, there was some issues with the graphics ( the rain in te charr area was erasing the background ) that will most likely be heavily worked on by the developers of wine, and companies that use it such as crossover.

Now we have ourselves a release date.
Will Best Buy be selling a physical copy of the standard edition of Guild Wars 2? Will it be available for prepurchase and/or preorder?
I'm NOT interested in getting the digital edition or the collectors edition, just interested in getting a standard edition and I have a best buy gift card I've been saving for this exact product. I'm not exactly sure what all factored in to us not carrying the physical version but I believe it had something to do with vendor agreements. I totally understand the desire to have something physical in your hands, especially when you are all pumped for a new game release. There's something traditional about it. I know our Merchandizing team is aware of the demand out there for the physical version of Guild Wars 2 but it doesn't look like we'll be able to accommodate it at this time.

Any problems with heat and fan noise on Guild Wars 2 Macbook Pro retina?

I am thinking to start Guild Wars 2 Mac beta on my Macbook pro retina, but i have been reading in different forums that it heats up the system and that the fan kicks off really loud when playing the game. Anyone has any experience on this? Any guild wars 2 gamers please give me some feedback.

I have been playing GW2 for a while now on Beta. The game runs choppier than windows but I think that's because it's a Beta version. I bet after they finish optimizing it things should change, even heat.
As for the heat, it gets super hot. So hot the keyboard gets hot, and when I push in the keys, I feel heat. It's warm enough to cause concern. I don't know if it's bad or not, but the dude at the Apple Genius/Store said, the MBPR knows when it gets too hot and it'll let you know. He said if it plays and nothing is warning me then it's fine. The MBPR won't allow itself to go to catastrophic failure due to heat.
So I took his advice and have played. Just Monday (October 1st 2012) I played for a good 5 hours non-stop and nothing came up so if the Apple Genius guy is correct then I wouldn't worry about it. I do have AppleCare so if something does fail then I will blame the apple genius guy.
It's a fun game, my first MMO, but it's too hard for me sometimes. I don't like that

I want to purchase a MacBook Pro for my son to use at college next year. He'll be pursuing and engineering degree, but is also a big PC gamer.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with wjosten on this one. Macs can be great gaming machines. For example, the iMacs always have the 2nd best mobile graphics chipset available. The same can't be said for the MacBooks Pros, but if you take wjosten's advice, you won't have the luxury of the Mac OS either. I have a mid-2012 13" MacBook Pro, and I play Guild Wars 2 under Boot Camp. I can play it on medium-low graphics settings with no lag, and it still looks great. I have also installed it on the Mac side using Winskin, but that's much more complex, and the results aren't as good. If you opt for the cheapest 15" MBP, you'll get a dedicated graphics chipset that will be able to play the game on high graphics settings no problem. Do the kid a favor and get him a Mac, and not a PC...

Since update 7.0.4 on iPad mini, apple inc pre fill email

What happened? I let my iPad mini update to v 7.0.4 and since then, using Mail, whenever I beging typing a recipient's email address it auto fills Apple Inc in front of their name.
I have no idea whether to send the email that way or not.
I can't stop it from doing it. I end up manually entering email addresses while battling against Mail as it keeps trying to put Apple Inc in the address field.

You can not restore without using the latest available os, unless hyou have jailbroken your device. Apple does not support downgrades on iops devices. and if jailbroken, your warrenty and support is no longer valid including assistance from this forum.

Your best bet to to contact Investor Relations, and ask them. Too, Apple has a long relationship with LG and, perhaps, it could contact Apple on yuor behalf.
Except for the reception area, the entire campus is locked-down, even the cafeteria. There are no sight-seeing tours. Can I play Guild Wars 2 without Bootcamp?

I've been thinking about trying Guild Wars 2 since it now has an OS X client, and I was wondering if my computer could actually run it. I don't mind being on the lowest possible settings as long as gameplay is still smooth.
I have the 15 inch MBP early 2011 model.

Graphics: Intel HD graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon HD 6490M

You shouldn't have any problem because your Mac has got a dedicated GPU that can run the game without any problem. Anyway, look at the requirements of the game and see if it has got a OS X version. If so, you don't need to install Windows in Boot Camp.
In the case that you can only use it in Windows, there are applications like CrossOver that allows you to run Windows applications in OS X, but they don't work correctly

Printer driver for workforce 645 was updated yesterday and printer no longer works, driver is no longer available from apple or epson.l

When i go to the epson website it says the printer driver is available from apple. When i go to the printer selection it sees the printer but says that apple has no drivers for this printer. In the updates section of the app store it shows that the printer driver was update yesterday.

Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

I reported to Austin Police Department about my unlocked iphone was stolen last week. I'm ****** off that Serial number of my stolen iphone is on another Apple ID. IMEI still is not added into blacklist. How can I contact to Apple Inc??

I don't understand why Austin Police are not doing to detain theft when I showed an location with valid address according Find my iPhone on icloud.com. They said that it might be wrong location but few blocks were correct location. I stopped at Apple Retail Store to get another unlocked iphone. I explained an employee whether they would add both IMEI and serial number into blacklist to make useless for anyone. They said they have nothing to doing.

What blacklist? There is no universal blacklist in the US. They're working on it, but it does not exist as of this writing.
Apple can't do anything about it. They are not a law enforcement agency.

How can I make sure that the job offer I have recieved from Apple Inc is a real job? I reieved an email from someone from HR Apple Inc stating that they have reviewed my application and I fit what they are looking for. I have completed all necessary steps for "work at home advisor" and I was emailed this past monday stating that I will be starting on the 28th and I will be recieving my contract and other documents and my "Imac". I havent recieved anything as of yet and I have called and emailed the person several times with no response. Im getting concerned. Can anyone please shed some light on this for me? Thank you

One of the key considerations at this stage is what these people have asked you for.
What personal details.   Birth date, Maiden name, if appropriate, Christian names other than first name.
What financial details.   Like bank details, through which you 'may' be 'paid'.
None of these necessarily says these people are rogues, but the information could be mis-used.
I would be wary.   Ask for a direct landline telephone number and have it checked out.

Guild Wars 2 client updating on Windows 7 Boot Camp

I originally downloaded and installed Guild Wars 2 client and updated with no problem. I've played the game and everything ran fine. I wanted to make a larger partition for my windows, so I went through the entire process of deleting the windows partition and creating a new one and then installing windows 7 Home Premium on it. After the clean install I downloaded the Guild Wars 2 client just fine, but when it attempts to update, it only updates for about 4 seconds to around 1MB of data. I use a direct ethernet connection The error says "Download Failed! Please check your internet connection and try again." The update continually builds off of the download so I'm almost done downloading the whole update (16GB) but it shouldn't have any problems maintaining it's connection. I have no firewall on and no antivirus even installed since i'm not using this computer for anything else until I figure out the problem. I tried other games to see if it was an overall problem, but I can update and play The Secret World and Tera with zero problems as well as other offline games that require patches like Dragon Age 2 and Sniper Elite V2. It can't be something simple since I've already contacted my ISP to make sure there was no throttling or blocks on their end and I've been contacting Arenanet technical support and they don't have any ideas for windows boot camp issues.
Any ideas on what could be the issue? The common firewall, antivirus, and ISP possibilities have been troubleshot to death.

you should be using Microsoft Security Essentials, regardless, or something for firewall besides your router, though that should be doing some of the work.
Windows on Mac aka "Boot Camp" is just to partition and motherboard drivers, otherwise it is maybe 95% same as a PC (sans BIOS for EFI).
You could of course bought WinClone or Paragon CampTuneX $20 to resize the old partitions.
Download managers and torrent-type with what ports it uses etc are not my area (torrents are funny, your IP address is out there for all to see and find which is one reason to not turn off firewalls and everything).

Solved: I had somehow lost permission to access the HKEY above (or rather, its parent key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Apple Inc.) so I went to the registry editor and checked the 'Full Control' box for the key and the installer now works.

I NEED HELP My cellular data is not working! I called and went to Apple INC. And At

So after July 4th 2013 I experienced wi-fi problems. I wasn't able to keep connected and i kept getting kicked out my own wi-fi. I left it continue a while because i thought it was only temporary. But i noticed my cellular data with at&t hadn't been working properly for about a month. Then it started getting worse till the point now I cannot use nor wi-fi nor cellular data. I called Apple Inc., they thought it was a bug, and we took procedures for trying to fix it. We restarted it, and reset network settings. Finally they suggested calling or going into at&t. I called first and we did almost same exact procedures as apple. So I decided going into At&t, they changed my original sim card and was only recieving 1 bar of signal, but i was bad. I couldn't do anything. After they scheduled and appointment at Apple store, ugh! which was such bad service. People everywhere and rushed through my problem and he didn't even let me explain. He only suggested I buy their ipad exchaging mine. In which come on. I couldn't back up my photos and stuff that instant. I asked him to give me a minute and he never came back. Like what was the point of that appointmet? After leaving I walked about 2 streets down and all my cellular data bars and 3g were up. It only worked there and when i was driving home and got home nothing once again. Not even inside the store. i mean others wi-fi works in some areas and my cellular data was good until now . I know At&t told me they were not experiencing any technical issues and everything was good, so i know its not due to that. My siste's mini ipad is working fine, so is my sisters ipod. Has any had you try a reset yet? Sometimes the WiFi & Cellular anntennas get wacky.
