GW8 and MS Office 2010

Our company recently send an emergency alert notice to all of our customers via email (GW8) Total sent was approx 17K emails. I have received approx 4K in returns for bad email address. My question is this: Is there a way to extract/export all of the return mail to Excel/Access/TXT doc.... anything where I do not have to copy/paste all 4K of these bad emails addresses?

- See if that data is in the GWIA logs of that time period, and if so
they should be extractable with some text manipulation tools. Essentially
a datamining/reporting issue, so if you have a BI or Crystal Reports
person handy, they might be able to help.
- Formativ might have tools to help with such processing.

- Plan C, get an intern or other such person to do the grunt labour.

  • Migrate  to  internet explorer 8  and microsoft office 2010

    Hi  Guru,
We  want  to  migrate  to  internet explorer 8  and  microsoft office 2010 .
Is it  compatible with  adobe interactive forms ?   did we install  a  new sap note ?
    o
    Thanks a lot
    Soufiene

compatiblity of adobe interactive forms has no relation of which IE version, which MS office version you are using/migrating.
it only concerned with which Adobe reader, Adobe Livecycle designer, ADS version you are using.

  • BEx Analyzer with GUI 720 and MS Office 2010 does not work

I have recently installed SAP GUI 720 with BEx addon (7 and 3.x) on a computer with Office 2010 and Windows 7.
All BEx components work fine except Analyzer 7.
When starting Analyzer 7 nothing happens.
I have tried instead starting transaction RRMX from a BI system but this generates a short dump.
Does anyone have an idea about what could be the problem?

  • Is there a compatibility issue between Acrobat 10 and MS Office 2010?

I'm having a problem printing to a PDF with MS Office 2010.  The program locks-up before the filename screen is displayed.  I can SAVE AS a PDF, but not print to a PDF.  I has worked previously, but started having problems a couple of months ago.  I've run both Acrobat and MS Office "fix it" programs, but no help.  Acrobat seems to work fine with Quicken.  Any ideas?   Bruce

    Hi Michael,
Interesting, and yes, I can from the Acrobat Ribbon in MS Word.   Now I'm really confused...must be something associated with the Acrobat printer driver I have installed.

  • How do I resolve a confict between Acrobat X Pro and Microsoft Office 2010 running on a W7 Pro 32bit

After I use Acrobat X Pro, and particularly if I have Acrobat X Pro running, the Microsoft Office 2010 programs (Outlook, Excel and Word) become very unstable.
Outlook has a real tendency to crash when I try to add a file attachment to an email.
Word gets mad while trying to find files across a local network.
and Excel almost always crashed while shutting down (the Excel program).
The problem is getting worse (more frequent crashes) as time goes by.
I am not "pointing the finger" at any specific software. I'm just looking for some things to try to resolve my problem with my setup.
If this is the wrong forum for this question I humbly beg your forgiveness (providing you give me a suggestion as to where I should go for help).

I'm having the exact issues, I guess adobe does not monitor these forum and assist their customers.

  • Which features work with Adobe 8 and 9 and Office 2003 and not Office 2010?

Which features work with Adobe 8 and 9 and Office 2003 and won’t work with Adobe 8 or 9 with Office 2010?

Office 2010 was not supported at all before Acrobat X.

  • Export from reports and Excel Office 2010

OBIEE 11.1.1.6.6 apparently does not support export to MS Office 2010... Anyway to make it export in correct format?  I can read the files upon open from export, but often the formatting is pretty messed up.

I have no choice in excel.  It says exporting as 97-2003. PPT has a choice of 2003 and 2007+  I am not exporting as PPT.

  • Installation Malfunction (Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2010)

I was uninstalling the program from my computer so I could clean it out completely and while I was uninstalling it the computer shut down (got unplugged) and then when I turned it back on it wouldn't let me finish uninstalling it. I tried to reinstall it
and it says I couldn't because it was still on there, and wouldn't let me uninstall it either. I uninstalled every part of it but the actual file "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010" and it will NOT allow me to uninstall it. When I click on
it a message pops up saying "The language of this installation package is not supported by your system."
I have a 2009 or 2010 Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista. I have enough space on my computer for the program and no viruses. I've been trying to reinstall this program all day, can someone please help me?

Your last uninstallation is not completed, and you are left with a partially Office 2010 on your computer. I would suggest you to use Microsoft Fix it tool to remove any Office 2010 traces。
For details, please refer to this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179  (This article explains how to uninstall 2003, 2007 or 2010 Microsoft Office suite by using Fix it, if you cannot uninstall it by using the
Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features
    feature in Control Panel.)
Please have a try and let’s know if it works for you.

  • Captivate 5.5 and MS Office 2010

    Hello
Can anybody tell me if Captivate 5.5 is MS Office 2010 compatible? Can I publish a project to Word 2010?
    Thank you.

I believe Rick is correct.  I've seen instances where a PC had an earlier version of MS Office installed and was then upgraded to a later version, but the new install did not remove all vestiges of the previous install. So that could explain why Captivate is pulling up MS Word 2007.
Do you happen to know if this PC arrived out of the box with MS Office 2010, or was it originally running MS 2007 and then upgraded?  In the corporate environment this type of thing happens all the time.
Another thing to consider is that, to my knowledge, Microsoft does not now offer a true upgrade from Office 2007.  When I tried to buy an upgrade for my own development laptop (as I have always done in past years when new Office versions came out) I found that I could only purchase a full version of MS Office 2010.  There was no upgrade installer.
So if your PC was upgraded to 2010, it's quite possible that Office 2007 is still sitting there in the background somewhere...unseen...until Captivate happened to call it up.
When you drill down to Program FIles > Microsoft Office how many Office# folders do you happen to see there?  In my case I have two because I've just been upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. (Yeah some corporates are more backward than others. I'm still running WinXP at this gig.)

  • Is CS3 Design Standard compatible with Windows 7 64-bits and MS Office 2010 Pro Plus?

    Hi,
I have been googling around to see if Adobe CS3 Design Standard is compatible with Windows 7 64-bits with MS Office 2010 Pro Plus, but I couldn't find a decent answer.
If anyone here has any idea on this, please let me know.
As far as i know Adobe CS3 comes with Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro which is not compatible with MS Office 2010, so I am sort of worried that I will need to upgrade my CS3 to CS6.
    Any advises are welcome.
    Thanks.

I don't know if Acrobat 8 is Win 7 64 bit compatible or if it's supported. The rest of the apps should be fine.
But I do think you'll have issues with Office 2010 files being placed into InDesign.
Moving to CS6 is something you should be thinking about very soon. You only get upgrade pricing until the end of the year, but I highly recommend taking a look at Creative Cloud. At $29.99/month for the first year it's a bargain.

  • PSE 8.0 and Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit

    Good day,
I recently upgraded my Office version from 2007 32-bit to 2010 64-bit.  Originally, PSE integrated fine with Outlook 2007 and I had no problems.  However, now, when I attempt to email from within PSE, it does not work.  Instead, I get an error message that states "Either this is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client".
I have verified that Outlook is setup as the default mail client.  Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?
    Thanks for your help!

    @HCH_50
I am not sure whether this will solve but you can try this
    1. repair Outlook from control pannel
    2. repair NOS from control pannel
    3. Repair Sync from NOS sync option
    4. Create new profile in Outlook
    5. Restart Pc and then try

  • Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office 2010

Is there a version of Crystal Rpts that works with 2010 versions of Excel and Access?  We're using Crystal v. 9.0 now.

Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 and the next full release of Crystal Reports Designer will support the new Office file types.
No plans to add the ability to older products.

  • OfficeJet 6500 709n and MicroSoft Office 2010 duplex print problem

I have an OfficeJet 6500 709n and was able to automatically duplex print with Windows 2003 no problems.  I upgraded to Windows 2010 and now it won't see the automatic duplex printing.   I can only select single page printing and manual duplex printing.  Any ideas what I need to correct????  HELP PLEASE!!

    Hello,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
    Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

  • What is the best way to back up MAC and of office 2010

I just lost my hardware. Lost all my files from 6 months of heavy work.
I now will start from zero and would like to use the best as possible Back-up solution for my Mac Air.
My question is what is the best tool for it: I cloud? Time Machine?
The point is that I do have most of my files at Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word for Mac). What is the best solution for office?
    Thx.

It's less a question of the best tool than of how many tools and backups.
Surely, Time Machine is fine for one type of backup. A second backup should be a full clone of your current system. A third backup is an incrementally updating backup for the clone. The fourth is a backup you put in a fireproof safe or in a bank safe deposit box.
Backups should be made on regular schedules. Time Machine updates hourly. One should be a weekly update. The one you store away should be a monthly update.
Choose a final strategy that works best for you and provides adequate security for your data. Remember, you can never have too many backups.

  • No Office 2010 64 bit support and printer driver issues

I have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 for about 2.5 years. Whenever I upgrade my laptop I usually upgrade most of the software I use including Adobe Acrobat Pro. This time I didn't see a need so I installed Acrobat Pro 8 again.
When I did, it no longer had integration with my upgraded Microsoft Office 2010. It also had an issue that every time I printed something to the Adobe PDF printer driver, the dialog box to select a filename would show up behind the application I was using (such as Firefox). Then when the PDF was generated and opened for preview, it also ended up behind the application I was printing from.
I chalked these issues up to using a version of Acrobat that came out before Windows 7 and before Office 2010. So I went out and reluctantly purchased the upgrade. All the marketing material said it was compatible with both.
Well, absolutely nothing has changed. It still doesn't work with Office 2010 because I'm using Office 2010 64bit, and still opens the dialogs behind the application I'm printing from. Almost every laptop comes with Windows 7 64bit and using Office 2010 64bit should not be something I can't do just to get support from an Adobe product.
If there is any workaround for the Adobe dialogs coming up behind the application I'm trying to print from, I'd love to hear it. I would have happily asked Adobe for a solution but I guess they don't offer any type of email support, chat support, or phone support unless you pay through the nose. Or maybe I just didn't see any way after clicking through all the screens under Help on their website.

For 7.0 and 7.5 it will not be supported. It will be supported for BPC 10.

    Sorin Radulescu
