Gwia and distribution list on incoming email

We have several distribution lists.
Our Gwia expanded distribution list, so external users can send a mai to our distributon lists.
That 's what we wanted .
My question :
Is there away to block this capability on some distribution lists ? (with internet adressing or ...) not all.

Is there an easy way of creating a distribution list from an email with multiple addresses? Those addresses are not in your contacts already, and don't need to be.

I want to be able to take all the email addresses someone else has used to distribute an email and create the same distribution list for myself for future use. I don't want to add all those people to anywhere in my contacts list. I just want them to be in my "new distribution list", like "soccer families", etc. I tried to copy and paste, but didn't get anywhere. Maybe I was close, or maybe it isn't possible. Thoughts?

You don't. When the season is over, delete them.
But, the text clipping should work.
The next IOS should have a feature "create mailing list from distribution list". A fast and simple way to retain a distribution list from an email you received. People get copied all the time using distribution lists they may want to reuse easily, like school, sports or work groups. Oh well.

There is a set of Mail Scripts that has a function to Add Addresses from an email to any group. But, it doesn't work with Mountain Lion.

DISTRIBUTION LIST WITH EXTERNAL EMAIL SEND FROM OUTSIDE

I'm new in the foruum.
i have the following problem with Distribution Lists.
I have create one Distribution List which include email address from our company and external email address.
When i send from inside all works fine.
But when i send from outside the email received from inside users(email addresses of my domain) but never received from outside email addresses.
How can resolve this issue?

i have change this setting when create the group.But my problem isn't that users from outside can't send to distribution list. The problem is that in my distribution list i have email addresses from my company (@domain.com) and external email addresses (@gmail.com,@yahoo.com).
When a user from inside send to the Distribution List all works fine. When a user from outside send to the Distribution List, users from my company(@domain.com) which include in the Distribution List receive the email but user with external email addresses(@gmail.com,@yahoo.com)
didn't receive the email.

How will I migrated my journal rules, archiving and Distribution lists to Exchange 2013 from Exchange 2010?

In addition, if you are using Exchange online archiving, it will still apply to Exchange 2013. Just ensure the archive mailbox is moved to Exchange server 2013.

Distribution list. Get emails

Hi forum,
I have created a distribution list via tcode so23. I want to do a report or a function to send email to these address maintained in that distribution.
How can i get these emails? Any table or standar function module to get it?

It appears this is the function i have to use, but launch an exception when I run the funcion. The exception is that the distribution list doesnt exit: DL_NAME_NOT_EXIST
I have created a list in tcode: so23, but i dont know if i have to do more steps...something more to the list.

How do I set up a distribution list with multiple email addresses?

I can't figure out how to do this - I am a .mac member and really have no idea how to use the desktop mail function but I am assuming that I need to set up the distribution list in mail since I can't find anywhere to do it on .mac.
I am really sorry for this lame question - is it a problem with my ISP (sbc) or is it my operating system - 10.3.9?

Welcome to the discussions, CassC.
You may need to re-post in the pre-Tiger mail forum.
But what I THINK you need to do is use your Address Book, and make a group. Add to the group (by selecting, dragging and dropping) the contacts you need in the distribution list. Now in Mail use the name of the group in the To: or Cc: or Bcc: field to send them all mail.

Is it possible to turn off the sound on my Verizon iPhone 4 and just have it vibrate for incoming email. Can't seem to find any way to do this!

You could either flip the mute switch or go to Settings > Sounds > New Mail = Off

Expand on sheets and Distribution list wizard

Hi,
my reports uses a EXPAND on SHEET in order to generate a sheet per entity.
I have configured a Distribution list in order to generate a workbook for each departement (a departement has many entities).
The generated Excel reports have lony one sheet.
It seems that the EXPAND on SHEET doesn't work with the Distribution wizard, doesn't it?

First I had the last date up and now all of a sudden stands the last date under the list of incomming emails how can I get the last date again up the list

I hope you understand what I mean because English is not my language but Dutch.

Click on "Date" to sort by date. Click it again to reverse the sorting.
Or, in the menu, '''View|Sort By''' and select '''Date''' and '''Ascending '''or '''Descending '''as you require. You probably want '''Unthreaded''' too.

Sender listed in incoming email

How do I set up my mac email so I can see the sender of the email listed with the subject?
Right now all I see is the subject. To see the sender I have to go into the email. Not a good method for weeding through junk emails or possible virus laden emails.

go to view menu->columns and check the box for "from". and don't worry about viruses. there are no os x viruses so thing will happen if you open any emails.

Want list of incoming emails to be larger not just email itself

Hi: I just reconfigured my email onto Thunderbird on my new mac (used it just fine on my old computer). I can barely see the list of emails in my inbox. I have figured out using the advanced setting how to increase the font size of each email when it comes up in the reading pane. I would also like the list of emails themselves to be in a bigger font. Hello Julia, normally what works or should work is by pressing the Ctrl button on the keyboard and scrolling up or down with the mouse wheel one click at a time.

We have a problem with users sending email to large PAB's and DL's. When mail is sent to the users in these lists GroupWise slows to a snails pace until the mail is delivered to all the users in the list.
Is there a size limit to PAB's or DL's?
We are running Netware 6.5 sp7
GW 7.0.3

I can not open my email even though I get a list of incoming email subject list.

I signed up for thunderbird. Now I get email for "[email protected]" but I can not open the email
I have email that I have opened but can not connect to the highlighted link.

How I can use distribution list in "Send Mail component" or I should use another component?
It works fine for a single email address. And distribution list works fine when I use it via SBWP.

Take activity step instead of Mail step. User fm SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send mail.
And use fm SO_DLI_READ_API1 to find list of user from distribution list. You can find how to use this fm in rule 30000012
