Gx620 camera problem on Win 7 64-bit

Hi, I am running a Win 7 64-bit version on my GX620 notebook, my camera doesn't work. When i try to enable it on skype, it shows a message saying "Can't start video renderer, check you've got a valid DirectX installation"
any suggestions on how to get by this problem?

Audigy 4 Pro microphone problems in Win 7 64-bit

Hi there,
Since I put my Audigy 4 Pro card into my newer PC with Win 7 64-bit the microphone only seems to work when it wants to, or works but sounds messed up.
I've waited a while before posting about this because I thought the newer drivers would sort out the problem, but it remains the same.
The card/microphone works without a problem if I put it in a PC with Win XP.
Sometimes the microphone will not pick up any sound at all. Other times it will work, but only for? game, say Heroes of Newerth. Then in Windows using teamspeak, people describe the sound like I'm talking through a fan. Tried using the in-game VOIP but I get the same result.
After a restart or just some random day, people in Heroes of Newerth would discribe the VOIP from my side as if I was talking under water(or through a fan), but then it would work fine for teamspeak or Bad Company 2 or any other game. I used these 2 games as an example since its what I'm playing mostly at the moment.
There doesnt seem to be any consistancy with the problem.
I have recently removed the sound card from my PC and now forced to use the onboard sound that reminds me of the sound of a clockradio.
My PC specs are:
Asus Rampage Formula Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz E8400
8GB RAM
4 x WD Raptor HDD Stripe RAID
ATi Radeon 4870 52MB
Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro?(model number shown?is SB0290)
Using?a Sennheiser PC350 Headset.
What I have tried my side so far:
Tried latest and older drivers for Win 7 64-bit
Reinstalled Windows 7 several times with different drivers.
Tried disabling all devices except for line/mic
Tried other input devices.
Tried with different audio and sound codecs, tried without any.
Might have been or 2 other things I tried I cannot think of now.
Is there anyone that experienced similar problems and got it fixed? Any help would be appreciated.

Can you be more specific about which steps were not recorded?
There some things that will not be recorded. The release notes list some known issues.
Known Issues:
Tutorial Builder can only capture actions in Photoshop that are recorded by the ScriptListener plug-in. While this includes most of Photoshop's functionality, some features/tools are not recorded. In particular, brushing actions are not captured. We hope to address this in future releases of Tutorial Builder.
Some of the the actions that Tutorial Builder captures are not yet instrumented to produce detailed text instructions in the final tutorial. For such actions, the generated tutorial will include a step that says "The (action name) is not yet supported by Tutorial Builder," and the tutorial author will have to edit the HTML to provide more descriptive text. Note that the "Show me in Photoshop" link is still generated for such actions.
Some Photoshop actions allow the user to specify a set of parameters in multiple ways, but Tutorial Builder cannot detect how the user specified those settings during the recorded demonstration. Lenovo T410 Camera Problem in win 8.1

Lenovo T410 Camera is not properly working in win 8.1. At very first instant it will show image and after 6 or 7 seconds of its running image got still view. I've uninstalled cam driver and then install it to check its accuracy but all in vain. Anyone can help me to solve this issue...............

Problems with Win 7 64 bits printer configuration on RDS Web Access

hey All,
I have a scenario with RDS 2012 with Session host in 2008 R2 SP1, and on clients with windows XP SP3 and win 7 SP1 32 bits, printer configuration looks ok but in windows 7 64 bits it looks like a truncated configuration , i have been tested every solution
that was reported before, like changing GPO, install Drivers in the clients and in the server, changed display resolution (to print in video) and nothing works, is any issue or incompatibility reported in this cases ?

Cam problem in win 8.1

i installed new skype but when i am chating with any one i cant see that persons video it appears as distorted broken image with scattered view please help my cam is fine in other apps and i can see it fine also if person is chating from mobile with potrait view.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post. Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Problems with Win 7 64-bit and Outlook 2010 with iCloud setup

I have an iPhone 4, iPAD2, Windows Vista Desktop (home) and Windows 7 64-bit laptop (work) and I'm trying to sync Outlook 2010 on my laptop with Calendars and Contacts. iCloud works great on the iPhone, iPAD and Home Dekstop....but...
When installing iCloud on my Laptop, the software gives me the following error when trying to setup the system:
Your setup couldn't be started because the iCloud serverstopped responding.
Error: 0x80040108: Server Did Not Accept HTTP Request(HTTP 400)!
What is interesting is that it is sending all of my calendar event contacts email invites from my @me.com account but fails to install on my laptop.

Sync Problem on Win 7 64 bit ver

Hi all.
I'm new to here and I encountered a big problem yesterday.
After I installed all the stuffs into my Win7 64 system, I plugged the Shuffle into USB dock, open itunes 10, finishing adding my own mp3s or so into the itune.
But what the problem is that when I try to simply try to sync a mp3 that is just 2.56MB into my device, the status above the windows shows 'syncing, copying to device' but the progress bar STAY REMAIN! What's more, when I click the icon at this moment the whole software go freezed!
OMG, has anyone ever come across this problem ? And can anyone give me a help?

Tutorial Builder problems in Win 7 64 bit CS5

I was able to load the Tutorial Builder but it would not save either a before or after image. From reading some of the other comments tried starting CS5 64 as admin and while it did now save the images it would not record tools or steps, only the images. Program is up to date.

I bought my macbook pro 13" and i installed win(7 64bit) and the dvd of bootcamp came with my notebook and i installed it sucessfully but now i want to install win 8(64 bit) and i did but unfortunatley that dvd of bootcamp didnt work what should i do hlp?

Boot Camp does not come on DVD, what did you install.

Apparent problem with Ovi Suite and Win 7 64 bit

Apologies if this has already been covered, but i have searched quite thoroughly and i haven't come across the specific problem i'm querying.
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, with PC Suite 7.1.51.0, which runs just fine.
I intend to upgrade to the superb N8 when my contract comes to an end in 6 months, so i'm just doing my homework.
Apparently, the N8 will only run on Ovi Suite, NOT PC Suite.
Now if anyone disputes this and can convince me that the N8 works perfectly fine with PC Suite, then read no further, please just respond! (Bear in mind the OS i'm running though).
As nice as Ovi Suite is, i've managed just fine so far with PC Suite.
Otherwise, please let me explain the problem i am having:
I installed Ovi Suite 2.2.1.23. When i run it, it shows the main screen, and you can just make out a small window appearing in the middle saying "Nokia OVI".
It is then that the program stops responding, eventually displaying the error message which reads:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\...
This appication has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the appication's support team for more information.
Judging by the similar stories of Ovi crashing (not finding one where the program fails to open, though), i think it is related to the fact that i'm running Win 7 64 bit; but i could be wrong.
I have tried installing it in compatibility mode, then (failing that), running it in compatibility mode, all to no avail.
Is this a problem that Nokia know about? If there is an intended fix within 6 months, then that'll be fine.
Otherwise, do any of you clever people know any work-arounds?
Any further questions you need to ask, please don't hesitate.

Pinpointing the problem may be very difficult as Ovi-Suite appears to be extremely unpredictable.and getting Ovi-suit tu run an sync properly seems to be largely a matter of luck.
I have just set-up three brand new identical HP workstations for our Geo-Information Department.
All were set up from the same disk image with only Win 7 Pro Office 2010, then directly Ovi-Suite as our Geo-Information guys insisted on Nokia handsets against our advice.
On one, machine Ovi-Suite crashed on launch and was unable to run at all.
on the second, Sync to OL 2010 failed consistently.
ont the third, everything ran fine with an N97 but an N8 was not recognized
So i got curious and run tests on one machine: I installed the same disk image a total of six times (clean win7-64, clean Office 2010 3 times, Office 2003 three times)
Office 2010
the first time i had the crash on launch, second time OL2010 sync fail, third time it ran ok.
Office 2003
First time notes sync failed, second and third time all was ok.
So the issue is definitely with Ovi-Suite and it appears to be pure luck whether is runs or not and if it runs at all, whether it syncs or not.
Syncing OL 2010 seems to be much trouble prone than OL2003, 64bit appears to be much less stable than 32, onb win 7 it seems to have slightly fewer issues than on XP.
We have NO issues with any other sync software (Palm, BB, Fruit, S-E, Microsoft, even Nokia PC-Suite).
None of the software is run with admin privileges (as we just do not give admin rights to users). If software requires admin rights to be installed, it is done by Data Center employees.
I'm afraid one's best bet to get Ovi-Suite running is trial and error, or if the handset supports it, use PC-Suite, which is what we do.
Ovi-suite users, according to our logs, generate over 70% of our smart phone related support calls, even though they are only 6% of our smart phone user base.
As a result, we currently have all Nokia handsets that do not work with PC-Suite and require Ovi-Suite blacklisted in our organization, meaning we won't support them in any way. Installation of any flavor of Ovi-Suite is prohibited on user PCs as long as it does not become more stable, reliable and less of a resource hog.

Weird problems after clean install on Win 7 64 bit

So I just built out a brand new machine with Win 7 64 bit and installed CS4 on it. PS works great, super quick! As I went through and tried to work on some websites last night, I found that the File/Open, File/Save and File/SaveAs options don't work? When you first open Dreamweaver (or Flash - haven't tested anything other than PS/DW/FL) the initial opening screen you can click on new HTML doc for example but clicking Open... doesn't bring up the windows open/browse dialog box. My DW install is all up to date and I tried to install over the top of it but that didn't help. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks in advance for any insight or help you can offer!

I have been running Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows 7 64-bit without problems for over a month (new machine, not upgraded from a previous version of Windows). The only part that fails is the documented problem with selecting the site root in a new site definition (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/478327).

Win 7, 64 bit USB connection problems

I'm having real problems getting my Touch to reliably connect with my new Win 7, 64 bit Dell laptop. Dell tech support says the drivers and hardware are fine. Following the troubleshooting via Apple support hasn't solved the problem. The Touch times out and/or gives me -48, -6999 messages. Plus "required file cannot be found" messages. I've updated apple drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes.
Will I have better luck moving to Win 7 32 bit?

I found a reference at Notebookcheck saying that the 1557 had a PM55, which was sort of why I was thinking BIOS with your issue:

... but configurations can differ for Dells (and other PCs) on these things even "inside" particular models (not just ranges of models). So I'm not 100% sure that your particular 1557 has the sorts of 5-series chipsets that I worry about when I see your error messages on a Windows 7 system.

Hello, i just migrated from windows xp 32 bit because my hd crashed, and installed a new 1 tb hd, with win 7 64 bit, i installed my sb audigy 2 zs sound card, and everything works great, videos, music etc, i have my 5.1 working fine, but if i use flightsim fs2004, the only game i use, the sound doesnt work, it does strange thinks like sound inside the cockpit but no outside and viceversa in some planes, ..it only works fine in my 2 channel default old sound card, i downloaded the drivers that in creative page say are for win 7, but the same happened...
any help?

Try to use Windows XP SP2/3 compatibility mode first, see if it works for you. And use Alchemy for the Audigy 2 ZS, FS2004 is making use of Directsound after all. Read the guide for using Alchemy here and here. Download Creative Alchemy here.

Win 7 64 Bit Problem CS 5.5

Hi Guys,
I have a simple plug-in with a few menus. Right now I have compiled it for win 7 64 bit platform (the normal release 32bit version of the plug-in is not loading on win 7 64 bit) - no warnings, no errors, the plug-in was created at releasex64\.... folder.
InDesign CS 5.5 has loaded this plug-in without any error messages but the menus are not there
Any suggestions what could be wrong or where or how could I check why? - thx

Maybe you created Model Plugin instead UI plugin. You can check that by resource PluginVersion (kSDKDefPluginVersionResourceID) in your .fr file.
If last line in that block is kUIPlugIn then plugin will be visible in InDesign. If last line is kModelPlugIn, then you will not see that plugin.
Also, please check version of your SDK in the top directiory of InDesign SDK.
InDesign CS5.5 Products SDK Build 142 is the latest one.
