H530 lack of resolution options

I've connected my TV (24 inch) as the display for my H530 but the only resolution option is 1024 x  768 which is too low. Is there a way to change this when only 1 option is given on the Screen Resolution screen? Maybe there is a way to force it to load a different resolution or add more options to the drop down?
Or is the only way around this to buy a different monitor?

Yar.
There are MANY alternative suppliers for bound photo books in vinyl, leather, paper and hardcovers. I forget which but one of the consumer mags or one of the big photo mags did a review of the major photo book printers, including Apple's iPhoto service. They all had problems, none was deemed best.
I just tried to google "photo book services." Wrong terms, I guess, too many incorrect and blind links.

  • How to find the size and resolution option in the aspect ratio drop down menu for the crop tool

while looking through certain tutorials on the new crop system i came across many that referenced the above mentioned size and resolution option in the  access ratio drop down menu.  They all mention a dialog box which then appears which looks really useful, however my version doesnt have this option. any help would be appreciated.

John, are there already differences?  I thought 13.1 was mainly about retina display support, but I guess there would also be other fixes released while they were at it.
Yes, definitely already differences. I sympathize with Photoshop instructors (online and offline).
The headline change was Retina support but that was also made available to non-Cloud versions.
Other Cloud-only changes in 13.1 are listed here

  • 24" Imac only showing 2 display resolution options

Within the past week something changed after running a Mac software update that resulted in only having 2 display resolution options. The display choices now are limited to 1900 X 1200 and 960 X 600.  I think this happened after having a Mac software update.  I don't know what the updates were other then they were suggested as part of the automatic software updates check.
Running OS X Lion version 10.7.4.
Graphics =  NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 128 MB.
I have rebooted and checked for additional updates put still only seeing 2 choices.
Is anyone else having this problem or ideas why all the other resolution options disappeared?
    Thanks

Thanks for quick response. I looked as suggested but those listed are older issues and not recent new events.  I guess I will sit back and see if there is a new update coming that fixes issue.  Really madding not being able to re-set resolution to one that I have been using for years.
If anyone else knows background/input on why resolution options would go from at least if not more then 10 to now only having 2 would be great.
    Thanks again.

  • RAR: Risk resolution options , Remove access from user is disabled

    Hi All,
In RAR , After risk analysis, if we click on risk description 3 Risk resolution options are there.
    Mitigate Risk
    Remove access from user
    Delimit access for user
In these options mitigate risk only working.I am using GRC SP 5.
How about other two options , save button is disabled. How to enable this?
can we remove/delimit access to  user using these options? any body  tested these options?
    Thanks n Regards,
    Joseph

    Joseph,
These functionalities do not exist in the tool and these buttons have been in the RAR for past 2 years. SAP wants clients to use CUP for removing or delemiting access so I highly doubt this will ever work.

  • Screen resolution option only 800x600

I have a G5 Dual 2.3 and an Acer 1917A monitor. I used this monitor with no issue on a G4 Dual. Plugged it into the "new" G5 and the only screen resolution option I have is 800x600 (not high enough). I have not installed any software from acer (can't find it, and frankly don't know if I ever had any). Any ideas as to what I am missing?

    What's the native resolution, 1280x1024?
    (I can't find info on a 1917A)
    Try another user account.
If you need to, set up another user account with admin privledges.
    See if the problem persists.
if not, it is a software problem in your account.
Might also download the ATI Display Panel, and see if resolution adjustment can be made there:

  • Diffrence between Codec C40 Premium Resolution Option & Multisite MS Option & Dual Display Option

    What is the difference between
    Codec C40 Premium Resolution Option
    LIC-C40-PR
    Codec C40 Multisite MS Option
    LIC-C40-MS
    Codec C40 Dual Display Option
    LIC-C40-DD

    Hi patilaniket
Codec C40 Premium Resolution Option is option key which affects the resolution you can transmit during a video conference.
    It should be required for:
    1920 × 1080@60 fps (1080p60)
    1920 × 1080@30 fps (1080p30)
    1440 × 900@30 fps (WXGA+)
    1472 × 1080@30 fps (SXGA+)
    1680 × 1050@30 fps (WSXGA+)
    1600 × 1200@30 fps (UXGA)
    512 × 288@60 fps (w288p60)
    768 × 448@60 fps (w448p60)
    1024 × 576@60 fps (w576p60)
    1280 × 720@60 fps (720p60)
Codec C40 Multisite MS Option  is the option key on an endpoint that enables that endpoint to support a multipoint call w/o MCU. For example with this option you can create conference call with max. 4 members w/o MCU. For more participants you need MCU.
Codec C40 Dual Display Option is the option key that enables you to show 2 different contents. For example:
Video ouptuts on the C40 are enabled by default. W/o the Dual Display option, you'll get the same content on both screens. With this option you can have video call on one screen and shared content on the second screen.

  • Only one display resolution option for monitor

I just installed a new SSD in my computer, and then installed SL onto the drive. I have an Asus monitor, and Display Preferences on the SL install on the older HD gave me a variety of screen resolutions to choose from. But on the SSD install I only have one option (1280x800). What do I need to do to get a wider range of resolution options (including one that will look right with this monitor)? Thanks.

Which computer? What did you use to install Snow Leopard, a retail version or the disks from another machine?

  • Other display resolution options

I've just bought a 19" widescreen display to go with a (planned) new mini. In the meantime I've hooked it up to my G4 iBook.
Question is: is there any way of working around the standard resolution options in the Display Preferences. 1024x768 gives me a stretched image on the external screen. If there's no way of setting other options (the screen has a max of 1400x900), is it at least possible to make it 'lose' a bit of screen space at the sides and use a little less territory, but in the right proportions?
I know this is not the forum, but does anyone happen to know whether I'm likely to have the same problem with a new Mini (I'm assuming it has a much more flexible driver).

I'm sorry to anyone who has fumed about the stupidity of my previous question.
I've found an option within the monitor set up - 'expand to fill full screen' - which was switched on. When switched off, everything appears with normal proportions.
Hopefully the information will still be of use to other visitors.

  • Resolution options

Anyone know if there is a way to make slides with resolutions higher than 1024x768?
In fact it would be great if they had a custom resolution option. I guess I should have clarified I have Keynote 2.
It looks as though Keynote 3 has more slide resolution options, can someone clarify this?
    -mark

All the versions of Keynote that have shipped have allowed for custom sizes, and actually, I just checked K3 and saw that it does NOT give you a custom option when you're first selecting a theme, but the standard size field is there in the inspector.
What changed with I believe K2 was the ability for Keynote to actually scale your content the way PPT does (K1 simply made the slide bigger, leaving your content where it was on the smaller size slide). The problem is, making a WIDER format slide will have the same effect as K1...that is, your stuff will scale to a point, but not fill the slide left to right. Most users wanting wide formats have ended up making their own themes.

  • No Printer Resolution Options for hp LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601

Running under Mac OS 10.6.8, we've run into a problem printing separations to our new hp LaserJet Enterprise 600 m601 printer from Illustrator CS4, CS5 and CS6.
In the printer dialog box, once under the "Output" section, with the mode set to either "Separations" or "In-RIP Separations", there are no options listed in the "Printer Resolution" drop-down.
I've tried re-installing the driver, changing the resolution settings in the printer itself, using a generic PS driver, and contacting hp directly (their solution was to contact Adobe). I have yet to contact Adobe itself, but none of my other attempts netted a different result.
In the document ink listing, the Frequency and Angle listings are still editable, but needs to be done manually for every colour, and the dot shape options are non-existant.
We had previously been using a hp LaserJet 2300n, but we were running into insufficient memory issues on an increasingly frequently basis. The driver for the 2300n had several different sets of Printer Resolution settings, so once the new printer was set up, I *assumed* that it would have the same kind of options.
I have discovered that if I change my PPD from the proper driver (HP LaserJet 600 M601 M602 M603) to the old one (Hp LaserJet 2300) I am then able to select the resolution I want from the drop-down list, switch the PPD back to the proper one for the M601, and it seems to work (leaving the 2300 as the PPD file results in a warning and a failed print attempt).
I also tried printing something from a non-Adobe program using the M601, and there were two options available for printer quality (resolution?) settings.
    Any thoughts?

Re instakll the printers driver first remove the printer from the printer list.
    My only thought!

  • Captivate's lack of output options

We have had major problems with the conversion of Captivate's
SWF files in an effort to create an AVI from which to edit within
Premiere Pro. We tried three differnet conversion software packages
including SoThink. When we load the Flash file, these converters
only see the first 150-180 (6 seconds) or so frames -- in our case
the videos are thousand of frames in duration. Captivates playback
is fine but there is something about their Flash creation or their
instructions about how to export it that is lacking. You will note
that there are several associated SWF files created. If you use the
largest of the created SWF files, it plays back as expected within
a web browser with full duration, but when you load that same file
in a converter, only the first several seconds are recognized.
What is unbelievable to us is why there is only a Flash
output option. After all, Adobe is a video editing player ---don't
these development groups consult among each other. Captivate is a
powerful application. But not having multiple output formats is a
    MAJOR, and unforgivable design omission.
By the way, don't try Flashants's SWF2 Video Plug in for
Premiere that is supposed to allow you to import SWF files. It will
crash Premiere. We tried several times.
We have been tearing our hair out with this problem and will
welcome any advice. Let's all appeal to Captivate to get output
    options!!!!!!

  • Display resolution options with GeForce 5200 Ultra

I have asked this question before but received no anwers so I am trying again.
If you connect a widescreen display to this grphics card, using DVI, in the list of resolution choices in Display Preferences, Are there any options that will allow the use of a widescreen display so it does not distort horizontally? e.g. If drawing a circle in Illustrator or Photoshop will it be a regular circle or end up displaying as an oval?
Not sure which display to go for but am sure this must apply to using an Apple Cinema 20 or 23 in display. Displays I was thinking of using (16:10 ratio) have a native digital display of 1680 × 1050.
    Thanks for any help.

Any display up to 1920 x 1200 should work. When run at native resolution, there should be no distortion.

  • 24 inch iMac screen resolution options

I have a 24 inch iMac. The native 1920x1200 resolution is great for displaying large amounts of data, but is sometimes too small for my aging eyeballs to see comfortably. The next option is 1344x840 which is easier to see, though a bit grainy, but I lose huge amounts of displayed data on web pages and things like that. I'd love the option for 1680x1050 (like the native res on 20 inch iMacs) but it is not an option on my display preferences selection menu. Why is that resolution not an option on the menu? Can I get to that resolution another way?

    To SteveCG
I must be a conspiracy theorist. I've just bought a 20" iMac after many friends gave Macs such a great rap about their graphics etc. The 6 year-old 13" Dell Inspiron 4000 Laptop I'd just left produced much sharper screen images. Most of the work I do is just producing and reading text - reports and emails etc. I'm am SO annoyed that fonts are not sharp and clear on the 20" screen. Increasing the size (Command +) does not make any difference - the edges are still fussy.
I complained (fruitlessly) to Apple Support after I found the best resolution I could get was only 1680 x 1050. Was told that there was nothing Apple support could do to improve it and buying a better graphics card would not help since the maximum screen resolution was related to the composition of the screen structure.
And my theory? Apple will shortly launch a better higher resolution screen on the market and encourage us all to rush out and buy one.
