Hallo,
ich möchte das Digital Editions auf meinem neuen Rechner authorisieren, da ich keinen zugriff mehr auf meinem alten Computer haben.
Das System sagt immer, dass das nicht geht, da diese Authorisierung bereits auf einem anderen Gerät vorhanden ist.
Was kann ich tun, dass ich die gleiche Authorisierung auf meinem neuen Computer einrichten kann.

Manchmal ADE bekommt seine Registrierung / Aktivierung verwirrt und in einem semi-autorisierten Zustand.
Deinstallation und Neuinstallation hilft nicht, und zwar Installation kann auch diesen Zustand auszulösen.
Leider gibt es dann oft irreführenden Fehlermeldungen über das, was falsch ist.
Eine gemeinsame falsche Meldung informiert Sie, dass die ID ist bereits im Einsatz auf einem anderen Computer und kann nicht wiederverwendet werden.
Ein anderer ist "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
Dies kann oft durch das vollständige Entfernen keine Genehmigung mit Strg-Shift-D in die Bibliothek-Bildschirm auf ADE (cmd-shift-D, wenn auf dem Mac) gelöst werden.
Starten ADE und dann mit der (alten) Adobe-ID neu aktivieren.
In extremen Fällen auf dem Mac hat die folgenden zusätzlichen Schritt einige Leute geholfen. Navigieren Sie zu / Users / / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Digital Editions und ziehen Sie die Datei activation.dat in den Papierkorb. Digital Edition 2.0 support for KOBO ARC

Digital Edition 2.0 supports many KOBO devices, but it does not appear to "see" a wifi connected KOBO ARC from Windows 7, so I'm assuming this is not presently supported. Is this device support planned, and if so when is it scheduled? Thanks

ADE2.0 is not supported on XP below SP3 (and doesn't work very well on SP3, and is full of bugs on any OS).
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Why won't the library in Adobe Digital Editions recognize my Kobo?

There might be two parts to the answer. First, from what you saw, you can
get ebooks to ADE without the ereader attached. The ereader might not be
supported by ADE, and because you've 'been through the steps several
times', I think that is probably the reason.
Second, the ebook you're attempting to transfer (which is what I'm reading
into your wording) may be DRM-protected, and may not be transferrable. You
can check this by looking at the Item Info of the ebook. When you're in
Library mode, put your cursor on the small arrow next to the ebook name. A
drop-down menu will appear, and you can choose 'Item Info' from the list.
Click on that, and a screen will appear showing you where the ebook is and
the properties assigned by the publisher to it. If the 'copy' parameter
says no, then you have your answer.

Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 crashes each time I try to move a library ebook to my kobo ereader

I am using Mac OS X 10.9.5. I installed ADE 4.0 and was able to use the ascm file from my local library to download a library book to ADE 4.0 bookshelf. ADE recognizes my Kobo eReader, but when I drag the book to the eReader, ADE first tells me it is copying the file to the eReader, then it promptly crashes and gives a long error (pasted below). I tried this on my laptop too, which uses Mac OS X 10.7.5, also with ADE 4.0. Exact same thing happens.
I have no idea what's going on. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried plugging the eReader in at different times (when ADE is launched, and before it launches), with no change in the error.
Any help will be appreciated!

please let us know, book type that you are trying to transfer (pdf or epub)
you can check this at:
1. Open the file in Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Select the book that you are trying to transfer.
3. Go to File -> Item Info
4. Check Location.
You will see the file extension (pdf or epub)

The message that comes up is Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We did this. We then rebooted the computer and tried to install again.
The same error occurs.

Hallo Leute, ich habe bereits Adobe Edition auf einem Computer. Nun hab ich mir einen weiteren PC gekauft und möchte dort auch Digital Edition installieren. Die Installation hat gut geklappt aber ich kann mich nicht mit meiner Adobe ID anmelden. Habt ihr eine Ahnung warum?

Digital Editions erkennt Sony Reader nicht

Situation: Mac
Digital Editions erkennt den Sony Ebookreader PRS650 nicht.
Von Reader Library wird er erkannt kann aber keine Ebooks draufmachen. Hinweis: Ebook kann nicht geladen werden da Reader für eine andere
Person autorisiert wurde.
Computer ist authorisiert. Reader war bei Sony TVS in Reparatur. Displaytausch, seit dem besteht das Problem. Möchte morgen in Urlaub, daher
schnelle Lösung bitte.
Digital Editions und Reader Library wurden schon deinstalliert und neu installiert, deauthorisiert und neu authorisiert. Sony Hotline kann nicht helfen, verweist auf Adobe, die wissen es nicht und verweisen auf Sony.
Reader wurde schon auf Werkseinstellung gesetzt. Hat alles nichts geholfen.

ADE Mac doesn't support the Sony Reader. You will need to use the Sony Software instead.

Adobe Digital Editions erkennt Tolino nicht

Ich habe Tolino an meinen PC angeschlossen, ADE sollte jetzt zeigen: "Geräte - Mein Tolino". Tut es aber nicht.
Im Explorer wird der gesamte Tolino-Inhalt angezeigt, also ist er freigegeben.

I have connected Tolino to my PC. ADE should now show "Devices - My Tolino". But it won't.
In Explorer, the whole Tolino content appears. Thus it must be unblocked.

Wenn nicht, wird er auch nicht unter Adobe Digital Edition mit angeziegt werden. In dem Fall einfach die Bücher über den Explorer direkt auf den Reader ziehen.

Your single license allows you to have two active installations, meaning you can have it installed and enabled on two machines. You can have the software installed on as many machines as you like, but only two of them can be in an activated state at a given time.
As far as using the two machines at the same time goes, the jury is currently out on that - I had the question in for clarification but did not get a response yet. They recently rewrote the license agreement and the portion that explicitly stated you cannot use the two at the same time was either removed or relocated somewhere else that I have yet to find.
If you mean that you want to have another machine licensed for someone else to use then you need to buy a new license for that other person.

No, not if our staff is trained to use the newest Adobe Acrobat (trainings are usually for the newest versions) and uses that to produce forms. Now the files open correctly. But what will be in some months or years? Do people working on Linux do have to print the forms then again to fill in?
So do you recommend that we stop the process of producing electronic forms and stay with paper-fill-in forms? Is that the goal of Adobe? (maybe not so clever for your "financial viability"?!?!? ... ein schuss ins eigene bein?!?!)

Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 for Windows with Kobo Desktop reader.

I need to transfer PDF files to my Kobo Desktop reader which is installed on the same PC ad the Adobe Digital Editions 2.0
ADE is authorized with Adobe.
I believe I need to access the Kobo Desktop Reader from ADE first to be able to authorize the KOBO Desktop Reader.
However, the ADE is not recognizing the presence of the reader.
How should I proceed?
