Hacked - unknown iPhone in Find My iPhone
My Apple ID was hacked, and when I changed my password and logged in I noticed that there is an unknown black iPhone 5 listed. This is definitely not one of my devices, nor is it a device that I have had in the past. Is this the hacker? Should I erase the phone?
The Find My iPhone feature for an iPhone is not added via the MobileMe website.
The Find My iPhone feature is added by creating your MobileMe account on your iPhone.
On the iPhone, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data. Push must be on.
At Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select your MobileMe account. Find My iPhone must be on.

You did not ruin the phone, you will need a sim card to activate the phone and then connect the phone to itunes and do a restore from back up.

Hello community,
we have several iPhones in our office under company contract. Most people are using their own Apple ID.
Is it possible to add all these iPhones to find my iPhone, so that in case it is lost, we can delete them remotely?

My iPhone recently stopped wroking because the lock button didnt work anymore, but I didn't find out until I took it to get fixed. I called in to my provider to get a new one (but they weren't able to send me a new one, so I still have the same one) and they told me to go to icloud.com and erase iPhone from find my iPhone. I got it all fixed but I'm worried that once I connect my phone to my iTune library it's going to erase everything on my phone. Is there anyway I can cancel the request to erase? It says

The FindMyiPhone app is for finding your iPhone (or someone else's iPhone). If your iPhone is in your hands, you really don't need the app to find it. -

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id. -

Restored iPhone using find my iPhone restore
Hello,
I recently restored my iPhone using find my iPhone restore and when I did this an apple loading screen came on and then the reboot logo that spins around replaced that. That logo has been spinning for a good three hours and when I try going into recovery mode it repeats the process by instantly turning back on with the rebooter.

If you want it added to your Find My iPhone, you would need to sign on your iCloud account to her device.
If she has her own Apple/iCloud ID, then go to Settings>iCloud and turn on the Find My iPhone switch.

You have a SIM in what device? Whether or not YOU are connected has no significance re whether the lost iPhone is connected.
If it is offline there is nothing you can do to trace it. Report the loss to your carrier, to the police, and to your insurance company. Change any passwords which might be compromised, and get another phone. -
