Had iphone 4 a week and it got dropped and theres a crack all the way down the screen, will you replace it?

iphone dropped only had it a week, got replaced because the power button broke. Now the screen is cracked all the way down the middle. Will i get a replacement?

We are users. Not Apple. If the phone is from a country where Apple offers an out of warranty replacement program, Apple will be happy to replace it for US$149.

Green and blue dots around all the screen

I have noticed that green and blue dots appear around the screen of my tablet, i have send to sony service, can anyone have this issue too? it has only 1 month of use...

Same problem on my tablet (second one, first i already replaced) green dots all over screen.Two months of use.

I have recently upgraded my iphone 4 software and thought I'd backed up all my stuff. When I restored the settings only 73 out of 895 songs were downloaded to my Itunes library. I then went on my other laptop with all the old stuff on and tried to synch them. This led to all the music in this itunes library being wiped except for the 73 on my phone.

I have Lion on my 13" pro and have kept it up to date. Today I had a message about the need to update firmware. I pressed restart and there was language about the screen ging gray. I think it said for a few minutes. It has been 3 hrs. is this a problem?.

I got an alert to update firmware. When I click for restart a message the screen would gray and and it might ake a few minutes. That was about three hours ago and it is still gray and sitting there. Is this to be expected? What could/should I do? I am typing this on an ipad because the Macboob Pro is currently useless.

With Firmware updates, Apple will usually offer instructions to complete the update, since they require an additional step to complete. It sounds like you haven't finished the Firmware update completely.
Since it's your computer and investment, I wouldn't risk it and would visit your local Apple Store and let them solve the problem. In the meantime, read this link from Apple:

You may well have to force the iPhone into recovery mode & restore as a new device. My updates have frozen. I had 7 aps to update and pressed up date all the bars below each started to move but the no further progress I have rebooted a few times but no luck and I cannot open any of them now.

My updates appeared in the list yesterday. As usual I pressed the update all request. But all have frozen, I have rebooted and deleted memory space but this has not made any difference. The updates included Dropbox, cloud on, hidden objects,calculator, twitter, box for iPod and iPad, the smurfs? Can any one help me please. I now cannot use any of them!

I have tried all the suggestions, I am unable to view itunes on my IPAD they do not look the same. However I have solved the problem by taking them out of the groups I had them in they updated! Never happended before but hey - i'm not complaining!

My macbook pro is just over 3 years old now and off and on during this time the screen will just go all black. Lately this blackout is lasting longer and I was wondering what is causing this. I am afraid that this will not come back on in the future.

My MacBook pro is just over 3 years old now and the screen has totally blacked out for a few seconds at a time. It will come back on in a few seconds with the exception this past month it has stayed black for a longer period of time like one minute. It scares me to think that one of these times it won't come back on. I have noticed it happens more often when I am using just the battery power. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? just to mention my battery was not low when this happens.

if your MacBook Pro is a 15-inch Mid 2010 model (“MacBookPro6,2”), then it might be exhibiting the defect that is documented on this Apple Support page. If your black screen is due to this defect, then that page states that Apple will service this problem on this specific model of MacBook Pro gratis, for three years from the date of purchase. However, some commenters here have noted that sometimes the servicing is done gratis without having proof of the date of purchase. If you have an Apple Store near you, you might consider bringing your MacBook Pro there to have them check for the presence of this defect.
It is only the 15-inch Mid 2010 model that has this problem; no other model suffers from it.

i checked again and found the archivelog destination folders will be recreated on every log switch if deleted by OS command.( This will occurs when the OFA used)
If the manual archive destination used which not included in OFA architechture then the logs will be placed on the next parent directory on the specified archieve path...no directory will be created on OS level.
so the final thing is no error will be raised on DB level at any point of directory removal on OFA and normal filesystems so the archivel will be continously generated according to the suituation.

If you change the screen will you change the pressure and cause potential harm inside?

I have an iPod with a damaged screen as I dropped it. It still works perfectly well. If I have the screen changed am I putting it at risk of further damage?

As long as you do a good job and make sure you DO NOT damage anything inside the ipod then you are good. The pressure won't do anything, just make sure you know what you are doing. I reccommend someone who knows what they are doing and has experience in replacing screens to do it for you.
