Had photos in Photos App, took picture with Camera--All disappeared

This happened in the last two weeks. Once I was able to have the photo albums go back to the iphone. Now, the second time this has happened, can not get the chosen albums in iTunes to sync to the iphone 3gs w/ 3.1.3
Is it me? Or is it the OS

To clarify that. I had many photos on the iphone and were viewable in the Photos App from Apple. Then I used the camera on the iphone to snap a picture and went to look at the Photos App and all that was there was the Camera roll photo. All other photos were gone.
Now i can't sync any back from iTunes.

Photos in the camera roll are included in your backup and should be recovered by restoring the backup to a replacement phone. Photo stream photos remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you reconnect to photo stream you will get back any photo stream photos from the last 30 days.

Basic troubleshooting steps in the following order.
1. Reset. Press and hold both Power and Home Buttons together till Apple Logo appears.
2. Restore to a backup.
3. Backup, Restore in iTunes and setup as new.

I bought an HTC one 2/28/14. I had no trouble sending or receiving pictures with my texts. I had to update my phone 6/5/14 and since that time I cannot send or receive pictures in my texts. How can I fix that?

The thing is, before the update, I ALWAYS had my wifi on, and I had my mobile data off. Worked flawlessly until the update.

On holidays we took pictures with two cameras and an iPad. I put everithing on my PC. Rearranged them by date, time and or subject putting a number in front of the picture name. I synchronised with my iPad and my pictures show in misselaneous order. Help

You did nothing wrong, but the photo app puts stuff in chronological order.
You can look for another app. Afraid I don't have one to suggest, but I do understand that other apps will sort photos differently.

Accidentally took picture with cover over lens, did I hurt the camera (iphone4)?

I have a phone case that includes a cover for the back lens. I took a picture with the cover on, and flash went off, and I have a very close up picture of the back of the cover. The cover also is over the flash. Did I mess up the camera doing this? It's an Iphone 4 Thanks

Also I had installed the Mosaic app for ipad before Lightroom mobile came out and I cannot seem to get rid of it. How can I get mosaic out? I have cancelled, I have deleted, I have looked through the files for visible remnants.

The sync count is 60 and static. The total number synced so far is 500+. None have been synced from the ipad except for corrections made there on those already synced.
I have deleted the Mosaic app from all machines and checked the library folder and have contacted the Mosaic tech support and they have discontinued my subscription. I still get mosaic messages on initiating Lightroom and sometimes at closing.
I have not tried to sync fewer yet, but some catalogs that I have tried are smaller numbers. Initially, it did well on good connections. Nothing works on my home connections over satellite.

Using locations in photo app for pictures with GPS info

I used a program (Geosetter) to add GPS data to my pictures taken on my camera. However, when I put the pictures on my iphone they dont show up under the locations section in the photo app - is there anyway to fix this?

Many modern cameras add GPS co-ordinates and these will usually show in the info panel of the Media module under Camera Data >> GPS
I guess your exif tools work differently to a camera. Are you able to embed the metadata into the image files before importing into PSE Organizer?

Along with this when I open the Camera, it opens but the shutter stays closed and you cant access the camera roll. This 'fixes' if I turn off the phone. But it eventually does the same again.
Any thoughts? similar experiences?

I'd try a full reset, not just a turn off and on. If that doesn't work I recommend a Restore, which should reload the OS.

How do I get an Instagram photo from that app to my iPhone camera upload?

Hi there, I have taken some photos through Instagram that have not copied through to my iPhone 5. I cannot seem to copy n paste them into my camera roll and emailing them to me still only opens through Instagram. Shouldn't all pictures automatically be uploaded to the phones camera roll? How do I get the pics already taken onto my camera roll? Can't add image here due to previous issues.

you could try going to the website (instagram.com) and logging in to your account using safari, then trying to long hold on the image and seeing if you can save it.
Or do it from a computer and save the image by right clicking.
It ***** but that may be the best option besides taking a screenshot .

IPhone App: Image taken with camera showing up rotated?

We are currently using the camera to take a photo and then upload it to a server. When we show the photo back to the user on the phone either by putting in the library or just displaying it within the app everything looks perfect. When we use that same data and pass it to the server, then the image is actually coming through as rotated 90 degrees. We are doing no processing or anything on the image, just simply posting it.
So is there a way to get the photo rotated? I am just unclear why the physical file is showing one thing whereas when we display it on the phone it displays it properly. Seems like this is a bug with UIImage??
Additionally, this only takes place when images are coming from the camera. If the user selects a photo from their album it will come through perfectly.

I am having the same problem on my new 3G and it is very annoying. The pictures also seem to be rather blurry even for a 2 megapixel camera. I am going to do more testing and then go to the Genius Bar. I have seen pictures taken with a coworker's 3G and they don't have the same issues.

If you click on the Finder in your doc (the faces) you should get a window on your screen.
On the left side of the screen, under Favorites, is there a picture of a camera with the label Camera.
If so, double click on that.
Inside that folder you should see something called iPhoto Library. Do you see that?
Post back and let me know.

Droid app functionality with camera recordings

I notice on the VZ Home Monitoring website a picture of a Motorola phone showing playback of a camera recording. My app doesn't have this option...does yours?

After I update to ios7 , numbers app not working well,it cannot sync my previous iCloud documents done in ios6.1.3 .all my previous file gone, I try to uninstall numbers app and reinstall back, but no luck. I try to use safari on my desktop to go iCloud.com to back up my file but I found that I cannot login to numbers , it always jump back to ask me key in username and password..
