Had the iPAD 2 over 3 months and it just doesn't seem to be able to do anything
My downloaded a movie from iTunes and even though I know I have a very strong wi fi connection it is saying ti will take over 8100 secs to down load. This is not the first time I have had problems with this. I would think that if something is ordered dirtly form the iStore it would work on the idevice. No flash, no Microsoft, no nothing. I fill cheated out f $700. What purpose does the ipad serve? I can't even use it to log into my onlne classes. I want my money back. I could have gotten a netbook and been at least able to watch my dvds!!!!!
It does work on the device after being downloaded.
And no Microsoft? That is entirely up to Microsoft in regards to providing an Office version for the iPad if that is what you mean, but that doesn't prevent you from viewing Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents received via email, and there are some 3rd party apps that provide for transferring Office documents from your computer to your iPad via the iTunes sync/transfer process, and some allow for this wirelessly when your computer and iPad are connected to the same wireless network. Apple also has a Pages and Numbers version for the iPad which allows for creating word processing and spreadsheet documents and is compatible with Word and Excel.
If purchased within the last 14 days, you can return it for payment credit. If past 14 days, demand for the iPad remains very high so sell it and use the proceeds to purchase a device that meets your most important needs and wants - doing some research beforehand.

I can't print from my ipad. i had the app hp service and it just shuts off whenever i click on it.
I have been able to print from my ipad before, but now I can't. I get an error message saying no printer can be found.
I would unplug router and printer for about 30 seconds. I would also power down iPad. I would confirm that printer was on your network. I would attempt to print again. I would also make sure I was using the correct app Hp ePrint app.

The new doc file left out some pictures, overran lines of type, completely misinterpreted caps and lowercase letters, and whole blocks of type overlapped or disappeared. You are likely not doing anything wrong. The quality of the conversion depends on the quality of the original PDF file. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.
Do you know what created that PDF? If it wasn't an Adobe app, the PDF may not be written to spec, and that could account for the conversion issues. You can tell what created the PDF by choosing File > Properties and looking for the PDF Producer on the Description tab.
Sometimes, you can have better luck by turning off OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community (but you'll want to keep OCR enabled if your PDF was created from a scanned document).

So we just got a new Macbook and I also installed the apple configurator tool. I'm using it to prepare the iPads for deployment and it won't let me prepare them? It gets an error stating "retrieving iOS info from apple" then it stops and says "internet error". My Internet connection is fine with the Mac-book. It shows the iPad is listed under the Prepare logo up top as 1 but under supervise none are shown. Although it does show itself in iTunes. Also the profile I created is fresh and has no errors. We have tryed nearly everything I cna think of and online forums are not giving us to much info on this error.

Try it on your home network where there isn't a lot of 'controls' -- network filtering , firewalls, etc.

Had current ipad since March. Recently videos (in photos app) that were able to be viewed are now missing. The commonality is that they were videos that were not uploaded directly to the ipad. Anything that I've uploaded since March is still accounted for. Just strange because I have viewed these videos since using this ipad. Only recently have they been "removed." WIll try to manually load them back, but any thoughts as to why? Thanks
If the videos were not uploaded to the iPad - (and I'm never sure what that means to another user - synced from iTunes?)- and they were taken with the iPad itself, you will have to restore from a backup in order to recover the videos if they are really gone from the device.
If they are purchased videos and they are in your iTunes library, sync them back to the iPad.

I just upgraded to iTunes 12 and had all sorts of problems. After several restores I seem to be able to sync my iPad with iTunes BUT I can't delete anything off my iPad from iTunes. Any ideas on what to do?

I just recently purchased the iPad wireless keyboard and I've followed all the steps, but everytime I type in the code to pair it, it says it cannot be paired. I've kept in close range, pushed the connect but it won't connect. What do I do?

disconnect your laptop from the existing wifi network
Connect to the default Apple Networkxxxxxxxxx - that is your AEX open network
Go to the Airport Utility and set the AEX router to extend the Existing Network >> in the AirPort Tab > Wireless Tab >> Wireless Mode - choose your Linksys network and enter credentials - your AEX should now join the Linksys network
Then switch back to your original wifi network and your AEX should show in the AirPort utility as well, extending the range of your Linksys network, green light on
PS: Win XP support for WP2 authentication downright *****. Even with SP3, get ready for some "cannot connect" warnings. My Dell laptop from work would have major issues connecting to my home's AirPort WPA2. I had to downgrade to WPA at some point. -
hello i just came back from the apple store and they had to restore my phone and i just downloaded all my apps and music back but my photos that are on icloud i only got 80 out of 768 back. what do i do to get all of them back?
If you tried to restore to your iCloud backup and your photos didn't fully restore, first go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and make sure it isn't still in the process of restoring.
If the restore is complete and all your photos weren't restored, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. You might try the solution posted by ezjules in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This involves opening the photos app after the phone restarts and you provide the passwords for your Apple IDs, then leaving it open for the remainder of the restore process. -
I upgraded my iPad 2 (3G) to the new OS8 and I can no longer connect to 3G. All the settings on the iPad are correct. It just shows that it's searching for a signal. I'm in an area where my signal (pre OS8) was very good in strength. Please help!

I just bought the new HDMI cord for the IPad, it works good but a small potion of the TOP and the BOTTOM is cut off. It doesn't seem to do it for movies(although I can't really tell. My monitor is a 23 IN' acer s series. I just installed the drivers for my monitor with no change. I think I have a CD somewhere for my monitor maybe it has some kind of program in there that can help me. I can post a picture if I need to. Thanks

I ripped a new CD to iTunes and backed up to the cloud. The songs are already on my iPhone 4S, but I can't get them on my iPad. I already connected the iPad to my laptop and selected "Sync with the iPad over Wi-Fi". On the iPad I forced a Sync. Help!

As long as the book is still in the store, and you haven't changed countries since buying it, then it should show in the Purchased tab in the iBooks app on your iPad for redownloading. If it's still in the store but doesn't show in Purchased then check to see if it's hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
