Had to disabled add ons but it seems to have caused YouTube to insist I upgrade Adobe Flash Player. Did so several times, rebooted and reinstalled Foxfire but still can't play any videos on YouTube with Firefox. Chrome works fine. Please fix.

I am having trouble getting to the website of my local Lowes store. I am able to get to lowes.com but when i try to show the store locator to pick a local store nothing happens. It is important to be able to get the local store website so as to be able to see pricing and availability of items. With internet explorer this happens automatically, but not so with Firefox. PLease could you help me too. I have been onto support through several emails and online helps and they do not understand the problem correctly and have not resolved it. I have photoshopcc 2014. If I click on add layer mask icon I get a white thumbnail. That seems ok. I then select a brush - set to normal etc. all ok. Then I attempt to either brush in or out on my photo to reveal or hide bits of layer below and it no longer works.
Weirdly, I noticed it was not selected in channels. So I checked the layer mask in channels and then back in layers it works except now it works by painting on a rubylith (which it did not do before 2014 version) then when I am done if I click apply mask everything works ok and it is done. It just does not work unless I select in channels.
This also happens if I apply an adjustment layer. The adjustment comes into the thumbnails with a mask and the mask is unselected in channels, I have to select and it paints a ruby lith.
If I go to layers in the menu however and select layer mask hide all or reveal all then select my brush it works fine and as it normally did before.
I have tried re installing etc. and every bit of normal advice but nothing works. Can you help or do you know anyone who can. As I am desperate here is my email: [email protected]

Hai, I've already installed the latest version of flash player. But why i can't watch any video on youtube? I've deleted all flash player browsing data and remove file player cache but it still won't work. Please somebody help me. Can't watch video in youtube is like a hell. Thank you.

Apple TV no longer plays any video, just clocks with loading icon
My Apple TV was working fine until about 2 weeks ago. I have CenturyLink high speed ( up to 40MB) internet connection, I can run a speed test on my iphone from the same room and get 32MB download speeds. Apple TV connectivity test shows successful on > 10MB test.
I can not play any video content, I can browse Netflix and YouTube menus and select movies or clips, but when I try to play it will clock continuously. On YouTube it will error out eventually, on Netflix it clocks indefinitely.
Did the last update break my Apple TV?
I've tried restarting, resetting and every other suggestion I have found on the web, even replaced the HDMI cable, but nothing works. This was working fine before and I hadn't made any changes prior to it not working any longer.
Please help.AFter more searches through the Apple Forum, I found the response below for kplandiles. I updated the firmware on my Centurylink C2000T wireless router and now I am able to play video again!!

Seems like this has been going around. I had the same issue for days and it turned out that I had to update the firmware on my ISPs modem/router. If you have recently changed ISPs or upgraded your internet service then there might be an issue there. My WiFi is through CenturyLink and their Prism TV service.
Apps like Netflix would function correctly up to the point where they actually try to load the video. After waiting and waiting for the video to load it would eventually time out and offer the "Cant connect - try again later" message. Youtube, PBS, ABC, NBC, TWC, etc. would all time out. Even ITunes Radio failed to connect.
I cant tell you what specifically on the firmware upgrade fixed the problem, though. I had rebooted the router several times without success. I even turned off the firewall on the router to insure that there was no blocking, No joy. Prism TV uses the Technicolor C2000T and that device needed an update.
I joke that CenturyLink intentionally blocked my streaming content so that I could only watch Prism TV and use their "On-Demand" video service. I actually rented a movie on Prism this weekend only because I could not watch what I really wanted to watch on Netflix.

One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?

Can not play any video after update to 4.4.2, it says always that i have to reconnect my HDMI Cable, reason HDCP error.

Assuming Allan's advice is not correct, and you do run the installer, I think I've heard of that problem and it involves removing the old Flash plug-ins, then install the new version. I don't use it so I don't know what they are called, but will be the /Library/Internet Plug-ins folder.
You can go here and enable HTML5 in YouTube so you don't have to use Flash: http://www.youtube.com/html5
Most(?) of the content is HTML5, but you may run into videos where you still need Flash. -

Check System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced
Click: Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop > Empty Caches
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Flash on a website for sound. -

Cannot play any video from any website in Mozilla after installing Java 6 update 33, and adobe flash player 11 plugin. However, I can play videos from Google Chrome and also from Internet Explorer. For example, when I'm trying to play a you tube video in Mozilla, a black screen comes up with following error message: "An error has occurred. Please try again later."
