Had to reinstall OS, and now GB can't find my loops

I had a problem that forced me to reinstall my OS (Tiger 10.4.10), and now GarageBand can't find my Apple Loops although they are clearly there in the root Library in the Audio folder. What can I do to get it to "see" them? I have dropped them on to the Loop Browser and it looks like it's reindexing, but nothing shows up int he Loop Browser window. Help!

HT5622 had not used my itunes in awhile and the other day I was not able to access my itunes account, had to reinstall itunes and now I can not find any of my apps that I had in my library.

Have not accessed my itunes account in some time, the day I found that I could not get itunes to run or even open up, I then tryed to reinstall itunes to my computer, I then was able to access my account and some of my library, but not any of my APPS??? How does one recover APPS lost in a reinstall.

Are the files still physically on your HD?
[User]/Music/iTunes/Media/Music is the default location. Unless you suddenly have a bunch of new "free space" on your hard drive, they're still where they were, you just need to create a new library file.

"Rebooting" means restarting &, as fruhulda said, that won't cause things to disappear. If you mean you had the hard drive erased & the system reinstalled, you will have to find the original disk with the AppleWorks installer.

Hello everyone, this is my first and hopefully only post, assuming that I have no more problems with my iTunes/iPod.
Ok, I recently had to have a new hard drive installed in my computer, and I got it back today. I had to reinstall iTunes, and after doing so I tried to transfer all the songs from my iPod to my new iTunes. All of the songs that I purchased from iTunes transferred without a hitch. I have many songs that I've copied from my CD collection on my iPod, however, and none of these will transfer to my computer now. Can someone please tell me how I can get these songs from my iPod to iTunes without going back and recopying every single CD I own?? Thanks in advance!!

The transfer of content sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You likely had FF 3.6 instead of 6. At the moment, FF 4 is the latest version. If you wish to rollback to an earlier version, you can download your preferred version for your OS here:

FF 4 is the latest and greatest. If you are not experiencing specific problems that force you to roll back to an earlier version, you will probably want to stick with FF 4.

Open iTunes and connect your iPod. Select your iPod in iTunes from the Source list. (I'm assuming this still works, although you didn't indicate if it did or didn't.) Make sure the box is checked to Open iTunes when this device is connected. You should be all set!

You may want to make sure you're installing the right version of itunes. If you have a 64bit system, you will need to make sure to download and install the 64bit version of iTunes.

I had to reinstall CS4 and now have error messages when opening bridge and photoshop

The error message is "The specified module could not be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.1\Version Cue.DLL

I tried what you suggested and it did not help. whenever I try to open either photoshop or bridge, I get a message saying that there was a problem loading scripts the last time that Bridge was open and do I want to try loading them again? If I click yes, I get that same error message that I reported in my original question and photoshop/bridge will immediately close. If I click no, photoshop and bridge will open but it will not let me open a raw format document. It seems like Adobe Camera Raw is not being recognized.   One of the updates I downloaded was an update to Adobe Camera Raw so the functionality is there, it just can't be accessed. do you think I should try to uninstall and re-install Photoshop again?

You don't transfer Apple ID's from one device to another one. You sign out in the settings, )the App Store and iTunes if necessary) and then sign in with the other ID.
Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>Sign out. Them sign in with the other ID. You can sign out of the app store and iTunes as well by going to the featured Atab in the App Store and the music tab in iTunes, swipe to the bottom and access the Apple ID in there.
You should have erased the iOad before you gave it to her in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. That way she could set up the iPad as new with her own Apple ID.
Be aware of the fact that if you use each others ID's in order to download past purchased content to your own iPads, you will lock yourself out of your own ID as you will have associated your iPad with the other person's Apple ID.
In other words, if you sign into your wife's ID on your iPad so that you can download an app or an album so that you don't have to pay for it again, you will lock yourself out of your Apple ID for 90 days.

You need to contact your carrier. If the carrier is GSM you need to get a new SIM from them. The easiest way is to take the phone to any of their retail stores and they can do it on the spot.
If the carrier is Verizon or Sprint in the US just call their support number.
