Had to reinstall windows how do I get ipod touch to not think new computer?
I have had virus on computer and reinstalled tunes and windows. But I dont want the touch to think it yet another computer im trying to use. It tells me I only have to more computer to hook up to it. I hope Im asking the question right.

The 5 authorized COMPUTERS has NOTHING to do with ipods.
Itunes will allow up to 5 computers to be authorized to play pre-itunes+ music. When you reach the limit of 5 COMPUTERS, then you can de-authorize them all, then authorize the active ones again.
You can sync as many ipods as you like to a computer.
In the future, it is a good idea to de-authorize before re-installing your os or getting rid of a computer.

I'm not aware of any, not to say that there aren't any issues.
it may have nothing to do with ntpd, there are a lot of things running.
ntpd just happen to make the log entry at the same time as the panic.
I would check to see if there are any updates available for you system.
if this is the first time that this has happened. it may be (pick one):
cosmic rays
sun spots
the trilateral commission
if this happens more frequently and that traces look the same, then
there may be a real problem that needs to be looked into further. -
My old computer died, long live the computer! Thought I'd be slick and sync my iphone with all 2000+ songs to my new computer. Loaded up iTunes, no problem, downloaded all the songs I've purchased, but when it came to syncing, it said the phone was looking for my old computer. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

The hard drive on my old computer failed so I no longer have access to my itunes library that was saved onto that computer. Is there anyway I can transfer my music and apps to my new computer? Since installing the latest itunes to windows 8 my iphone and ipod touch is not being recognized in itunes, therefore i can't change playlists or add songs etc. Is this a fault with itunes as it was fine with the older version or is there something i can do. I'm not on IOS yet but would like to backup my phone first but can't do that atm due to not being able to view my phone on itunes!
