Had to restore my iPad because of stopping an update - will it be okay?

It was updating to the new OS while connected to my computer, but I had to leave in a rush while it was still updating. So I closed my laptop while it was updating. I didn't unplug the iPad itself, but the laptop went into stand-by mode.
When I came back to the iPad, it made me restore it to factory settings, and now everything is working properly. My only concern is that I may have damaged the iPad in some way and it might get messed up in the future - is this possible, or if it's working fine now after restoring, I should be fine?
Thanks!

It also may take a bit for Apple servers to update your information. You are sure it is this iPad that you removed from your Apple ID?
I would wait an hour or so and try it again. You may want to put it in Recovery Mode:
