Had to update my ipod and now the screen is white

My ipod needed to update, when i attached it to my macbook pro, it said it had to erase and re-install my software. It then said it couldnt do it and now my screen is white and my ipod is unresponsive

Reset
Have you tried rebooting the device? Hold down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. If this fails, connect it to a power source and try again holding them for at least 20 seconds.
Restore
Turn off device – Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider.
Open iTunes on your computer.
Press and hold down the Home button First then connect the cable to the computer.
Release Home button when connect to itunes appears on device.
iTunes will prompt a message that says, iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
Wait for the full restoration process to complete, Set up device “as new”.

I have updated my iPad and now the screen glitches?

Does anyone know why after updating my iPad (3rd generation) the screen now glitches, has black lines that go through or goes completely back before coming back on yet the sound still works while it is black. I have wiped my iPad and reset all settings but nothing is working. Any ideas why, or ideas on how I can fix it? Would updating to IOS 8.

There are companies that specialize in data retrieval but it's costly (probably cheaper to buy a new iPod) and more than likely as Allan said, your circuits are probably damaged beyond all hope of retrieving anything. It's worth calling Apple you maybe able to get a discount or a refurbished iPod. Can't hurt to ask, Good luck. (And in the future... no texting in the john.) Sorry, couldn't resist it.

I am using an IPad 4 and I was notified of an IOS update. When the update started the screen froze displaying a zipper from the bottom with an arrow above that and an itunes icon above that. IPad will not do anything.

I'm in no way an iPod technician - but I have the same model as you. If you have cracks in the screen, I'm pretty sure you need to get the screen replaced. You can see what's involved by looking here:

Unless you're already an electronic technician, you'd be better off having it repaired.
Having said that, you might compare the repair price with what a newer iPod Touch would cost you. Here's just one sample page with pricing:

Uploading update software, now the screen is white on mac computer

I downloaded Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my desktop and computer restarted correctly. It then prompted me to update the printer software. There was an error. I continued and computer restarted and now the screen is white withe Apple emblem and circle continuously runs below. I have tried restarting the computer but this is the only screen that comes up. Hold the shift key and reboot, that should get you in, uninstall the software.
Run Software update under the Apple Menu, reinstal the software and make sure it's 10.6.8 compatible, then reboot normally to test or repeat with shift key booting.

I had to restore my iPod and now none of the songs want to play.

I had to restore my iPod and now none of the songs want to play. I press play, it goes to the song screen, then around 5 seconds pass without the song starting and then it skips to the next song where the same thing happens. And that just keeps happening over and over and over again. Also when I plug in the iPod, the pinwheel shows up on iTunes for a while and then the 13010 error message pops up but the iPod still shows up in iTunes. I'm so lost. Please help!

I've been looking to see if any one had the same problem and one guy did but they tOld him it was his hardware, but I don't think it was because my friend was able to get it working but it would stop working again like in 10min. So, has anyone had the same problem and can help? Please, I will greatly apretiate it. :)
