We are from different providers so I dont know how this happened. All of my apps got changed to hers! HELP!!!

A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

If Verizon return it to Apple it wil not be handled by Apple
If Verizon also use unauthorised repairers you may be lucky

Try connecting to iTunes and see if you can do a restore...first, though, have you tried a soft reset: hold both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts?

The iPhone is not user servicable and Apple does not sell parts. You can get a replacement phone from Apple for $199 unless you did something silly and already attempted to open it.

i just tried holding the home button and lock button until the screen went black then turned on again, its now back to normal.

Either force the phone into recovery mode, as described here, & restore it:

Or, login to iCloud.com, locate the phone, then erase it.

Preferences are not holding in IDCS3
if you quit out of IDCS3 the preferences are not holding. tried resetting ctrl+opt+com+shft & replacing ID prefs but they will not hold after repeining the program? any sugestions?
