I have an application which utilizes a query to take data from a database table & write to an XML file and vice-versa. I have a problem in solving the alias name in queries.
e.g Select EmpID as EmployeeID from Employee.. Where EmpID is the original Column name in Table, and when i have the result set metadata, i am not able to get the Original Column name EmpID? is there any other way to get it? or it is b'cos of the JDBC driver?
i have tried using:
rsmd.getColumnLabel(int position) ==> gives EmployeeID rsmd.getColumnName(int position) ==> gives EmployeeID and not EmpID

When you alias the column, you are giving it a new name to the result set. You can use the metadata to get to the actual column name
ResultSetMetaData rsmd = rs.getMetaData();
String colname = rsmd.getColumnName(i);
Here " i " is the index for the column.

Go through note 1594322 and 179655 will help you to make an analysis of this issue, you should created an excel file for each wage type which should be posted as it is showed in the note.

They said that they will only entertain the phone if I give them a poof that I live in Hongkong, but I live in Kolkata,India. This was quite a shocking experience for me. This is like Apple is discriminating people from country to country.
I am writing this letter with a great disappointment that how I get my iPhone repaired.

Facing problem while unloading the SWF file in SWF Loader
Facing problem with SWF Loader.
Background:
I've 4 SWF files (demo1.swf, demo1_skin.swf, demo2.swf and demo2_skin.swf).
These swf files are created throgh Adobe Captivate.
Playing demo1_skin, will play the demo1.swf with the controls at the button such as "Play", "Pause", "Stop", "Forward", "Backward" and Seekbar.
Playing demo2_skin, will play the demo2.swf with the controls at the button such as "Play", "Pause", "Stop", "Forward", "Backward" and Seekbar.
Scenario:
1. Clicked on the video1 leaf of the tree. Video1.swf is getting played.
I am able to click on the seek bar to take the video pointer to the desired position. I can drag the seek bar forward and backward also.
2. Clicked on the video2 leaf of the tree. Video2.swf is getting played.
I am not able to click on the seek bar to take the video pointer to the desired position. Also, I am not able to drag the pointer on the seek bar either forward or backward also.
Play, Pause, Stop, Forward, Backward buttons on the skin works properly.
3. If I again, click on the video1 leaf, point 1 observation is found.
4. clicking agian, on video2 leaf, point 2 observation found.
Please suggest.
I tried with Loader also. But, nothing fruitful. Same result, as I am getting from SWF Loader.

AshisYou are checking for the existence of detail records. What is the purpose of this. Most applications I know rely on normal foreign key constraint to ensure parent-child relationsships.
The select is slow for two reasons.
reason one) You count all details records when you only need to know if one detail records exists or not.
reason two) Multiple context switches between sql and pl/sql for each row of your parent table

I was trying analytical function for my Customer Dimension but am not able to implement the same in my OWB.I have 2 tables who have duplicates customers which cannot be figured out by Customer id as customer id is not unique.So, i have to filter out the information on the basis of First Name, middle name, last name & DOB. Since, each customer has multiple address records( for Permanent, Correspondence, Unknown ).
I want 1 record for all the three address types.

From your first post I understand that you would like to merge 3 similar (but not complete identical) records into 1 record. If this is the case, then have you thought about using the match-merge operator in OWB?
With the match-merge operator you can tell the mapping which records are similar by selecting "first_nm", "middle_nm", "last_nm" in the Match-Bin of the operator.
Then you define how attributes should be merged.
This way you do not need to aggregate your source data set. Just select all records from both source tables. Put those in the Set-Operator "UNION ALL" and this will be you input for the match-merge operator.

Are you trying to make the xml into a string? I think if you remove the first tag, it will either automagically reappear or it will throw and error as being poorly formed xml.
In general, you can remove the nodes by the use of indexes. Since you are operating at the root level, I am not sure how well it will work, but if your xml is in a property, you can reference the specific nodes by something like this: myXML.Output{/*[1]} which if you put it in a tracer will display the contents of the first node (or blank if there are child nodes). The node index can be dynamically set, but start with the simple hard coded one. I would also start at the lowest child level to verify that it is working properly (a tracer will display the contents specified by the index). You can also google xml indices (or indexes) and it will point to some other useful xml operators.
I suggest that you play around with it and also work with the Link Types (hint: removeXML).

Facing problem to display the content in Android Emulator of my mobile app

I have developed an adf mobile application as in the following and i successfully deployed my app in android emulator.....

Problem :
i can view my app in android emulator.......but if i open it i am getting a blank (white) screen in emulator......i don't know wat's happening.

Yes Android emulator is very problematic, and there are certain out of box emulator configurations that would not even start up on a reasonably powerful PC.
What works typically for me is to use an emulator built using SDK version 15 or 16 - for some reason, the Android SDK API level's emulators are much more problematic than before. There are some configurations (for example Nexus 7 tab) that simply hangs when trying to start it using default RAM allocation. After reducing it to 512, I can start it but then I can't start app. With older version of the emulator, if I set the RAM to say 512, generally the emulator will start and the app will also start (although very slowly).
Unfortunately this is an Android issue, and there is very little ADF Mobile can do.
In short, if possible please deploy to a device, and also please remember to deploy in release mode when you don't need to debug the app, as performance difference is very great. Hi all,
i am using SUN AS 9.0. I have some problems when i am trying to stop server. Before executing the project, it works fine. After that, when i try to stop my server, it didnt stop. Eventhough, i am hardly tried to stop by terminating the process in the task. Its not at all working.
I dont know how to solve it. It makes admin console to hang.

Facing problem for inserting the RFC return response in JDBC

Can any one share views for resulting my problem,
This is my scenrio(JDBC>RFC>JDBC) logic follows like this:
Design:
1. MT--X(request from JDBC(A))
2. MT--Y(Response to JDBC(A))
3. Defined Outbound Sync MI(Z) and given request as 'X' and response as 'Y'
4. Imported BAPI--B
5. Done MM between X and B-->request mapping(Zmap1)
6. Done MM between B.Response and Y--->response mapping(Zmap2)
7. Defined the IM between Z and B
a. Zmap1 given as request
3. Zmap2 given as response
And according to that i have confgured CCs,SA,RA,RD,ID.
It seems to be working fine..request map posting data properly in BAPI and also getting response as payload only, but it is not updating in JDBC column, which i mapped as response!it seems to be everry thing is ok..but i dint understand why it is not updating the return response in JDBC side?
Note: Here i'm not using BPM, without BPM i made synchronous.
In SxMB_MONI ..i'm getting response as E or S based on rfc return structure.

I think there is a mistake in your messaage type to insert into JDBC. The format should be,

Your action is an attribute of <test>.
Likewise in your case, you Message should be something like,

Open form builder.
Make connection with database.
