Hello
- Evaluation Groups: This is used in Asset accounting as an user field. The user can define upto 5 groups to classify assets. One is 8 digit and the others are 4 digits and can be alphanumeric. They have limited useage.
- IDoc: It is a document with data header / data segments and status records
Header
Defines the content, structure, sender, receiver and status of the IDoc
Data segment
Consists of a "leader" (consecutive segment number and a description of the type of segment) and a field string 1000 characters long (containing segment data)
Status records
Describe processing steps of the IDoc up to the present
- Consolidation: When the client more than one company codes, his requirement would be to consolidate all transactions of all company codes for group reporting. SAP offers consolidation module to deal with. Also, data from SAP from different company codes can be sent to an external interface, where consolidation is performed.
- Screen Layout: Every transaction or every thing you see in SAP is based on some design and this design is controlled by a screen layout. We can manipulate the layout by modifying the rules in the screen layout. Every field in the screen can be either made suppressed or open for data entry.
- Paying securities through APP is possible if securities are created as liabilities and its master data is a vendor or a customer. Otherwise, it is not possible
- Electronic data transfer, for this you need to make special configuration so that a data medium file is created and sent to reciever through electronic means.

  • E72 - PLEASE solve these bugs!

    Hi, i am using the E72 in Asia.
    A few things that i discovered and its bad! Comparing to E71, E72 is very bad. By the way, this is the second E72 i am using. I bought one before, same issue, now the secound one, Same ISSUE again!
    Here are the problems: I need to type in Chinese (pinyin) but whenever the language is switched to Chinese input, the calculator does not allow me to input decimal (how bad this is!).
    Also in Chinese mode, once back to English input, the SPACE bar input is NOT WORKING. The only way is to restart the damm phone. Can someone from Nokia tell me a fix on these problems? Please write me..
    thomas

    @yangwwt1971,
    Update to firmware 023.002 will solve the space bar issue when changing input method between English and Chinese.  However, the decimal point in Chinese writing input for calculator is not fixed yet.  The decimal works in English writing input, though.  At least 1 bug is fixed   Try to update the firmware using NSU.

    2) How many cursors can I open ? If I want to limit the number of cursors what changes should I do ?
    3) Write a query using emp table, which shows only rows between 4 to 6 (only 4th, 5th and 6th record should be displayed) ?
    4) Write a query using emp table, which displays even records and odd records ?
    5) I have declared 3 procedures in a package declaration, if I declare only 2 procedures in package body, does it show any error ?
    6) If I declare a variable in package specification say x number and if I declare same variable within package body with some value, first of all, does oracle allow me to do that ? If yes, if I want to refer the value of that variable (declared in specification) how can I refer ?
    7) If i update sal of an employee from 1000 to 2000 (emp table), then I give select statement, after that I give alter command (to change length of ename), then give select statement again, then give rollback, then give select again .... what's value of sal for that employee (answer is 2000, since alter command commits all the changes to the database) .. Now my question is, if there are multiple instances running (with same username and password), can all the users see the change in the salary when the 1st user gives the alter command ?
    8) Write a query to display duplicate records of the table (taking emp table as an example)

    1) In which format oracle stores the data ?

         http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/initparams138.htm#REFRN10137
    3) Write a query using emp table, which shows only rows between 4 to 6
       (only 4th, 5th and 6th record should be displayed) ?
    4) Write a query using emp table, which displays even records and odd records ?
         For both 3 and 4 the question you must ask is on what column the order is determined. I
         assume that the order is on empno.
         Answer for 3rd question.
         select *
           from (select row_number() over(order by empno) rno, e.*
                  from emp e)
          where rno between 4 and 6;
         Answer for 4th question.
         This is a home work for you. Hint is use the above query and modify a bit you get the answer.
    5) I have declared 3 procedures in a package declaration, if I declare only 2 procedures
       in package body, does it show any error ?
         You can try this by yourself. Just create it and see.
    6) If I declare a variable in package specification say x number and if I declare same
       variable within package body with some value, first of all, does oracle allow me to do that ?
       If yes, if I want to refer the value of that variable (declared in specification) how can I refer ?
            You can try this by yourself. Just create it and see.
    7) If i update sal of an employee from 1000 to 2000 (emp table), then I give select statement,
       after that I give alter command (to change length of ename), then give select statement again,
       then give rollback, then give select again .... what's value of sal for that employee
       (answer is 2000, since alter command commits all the changes to the database) .. Now my question is,
       if there are multiple instances running (with same username and password), can all the users see the change
       in the salary when the 1st user gives the alter command ?
            The answer would be YES. That is the purpose of COMMIT. Once data is commited
            then its visible to other sessions. And this one can also be tried by yourself.
    8) Write a query to display duplicate records of the table (taking emp table as an example)
         I will leave this one as home work for you. Hint is you can use eith GROUP BY or
         check out analytic function COUNT()...

  • Please answer these questions?

    hello sir.
    1.Types of Joins in sap-abap?
    2.What is the typical structure of an ABAP program?
    3.Can you create a table with fields not referring to data elements?
    4.What is an interactive report? What is the obvious diff of such report compared with classical type reports?
    5.What is a drill down report?
    What are the exceptions in function module?
    6. What are ranges? What are number ranges?
    7. What are select options and what is the diff from parameters?
    8.What is the client concept in SAP? What is the meaning of client independent?
    9.What specific statements do you using when writing a drill down report?

    HI,
    <b>1. there are two types of join inner and left outer joins.
    2. A ABAP program is typical contains different events. like 'INITILIZATION', 'TOP-OF-PAGE', 'START-OF-SELECTION'. these events together makes the flow logic of program.
    3. yes we can.
    4. interactive reports are that like we have a report in which we are displaying vendors in lines. now by clicking on some vendor all detail of that vendor will be displayed. Classical reports did'nt have details of data showed they are static to 1 level.
    5. there is no difference between interactive and drill down report.
    5. Exceptions in function module are different error types that happen in function module and they will be return to calling program so the program know the exact reason of function module failure.
    6. ranges are same as select-options but will no display.
    7. answer in previous thread.
    8. clients are used to divide server for multiple purposes like in development server we have two clients 100 and 200. 100 will be developement client and 200 will be for testing. ABAP workbench is client independent means if you have developed a program in one client it will be avaialbe in all clients. while customization is client dependent. you can customize different clients differently.

  • Please solve the question on select options

    i have added 5 select options Each of these new selection options (when selected) will then display on the report .
    •     If A the 1st select option is selected then the new column in the report will display to the right of the existing select-option column.

    You can do as suggested already and use interface nodes and cross component mapping; but that is all really not necessary.  It creates a situation where you calling application is too dependent upon the freely programmed input help.  You want to try to avoid the situation where the calling application needs code or mappings to communicate with the input help.
    That is easy to do because the framework passes all the information you need into the freely programmed input help via the value_help_listener object.
    Part of the Freeley Programmed Input Help Component should be the component interface IWD_VALUE_HELP.  This comes with a component controller method called SET_VALUE_HELP_LISTENER.  This allows your freely programmed value help to capture this object called listener of type IF_WD_VALUE_HELP_LISTENER. I generally just store it awa into a component controller attribute.
    With this listerner object you have direct access to the context attribute in the calling component. You can query information about the calling UI element and of course set values directly back into it.  The listener is a hugely helpful object and should be the way you interact with the calling component whenever possible.  Here is small example:
      set single attribute
      wd_this->value_help_listener->f4_context_element->set_attribute(
      exporting
        name = wd_this->value_help_listener->f4_attribute_info-name
        value = l_time

    As far I know, what is possible (P), impossible (I) and can be reached from database (DB):
    DB - you would have to create query of groups, where such member was (there are Group History Report
    and Group Membership Change Report out of the box, so suitable data is in DB)
    P - you can specify the Member Resource ID in
    Group Membership Change Report
    P - OOB - Group Membership Change Report
    P/DB - rather searched by query in DB than realizable through OOB Report
    & 6. - OOB it would be hard I think - as you would have to join informations about owners, members of some Sets and MPRs - maybe it could be realizable through DB query, but I am not sure about that.
