Hi Experts
   When Half day AL & Half day MV applied in IT2001 for 4 hrs, but in IT 0005 leave deducted by 1day. Any advice.

Split your counting rule into two. In the first rule (sequence no. 1), weekday should be selected as
{XXXXX..}
You can set the quota multiplier as 100 here.
In your second rule, weekday should be selected as {.....X.} and the quota multiplier as 50.

    I am trying to configure an additional absence quota for the employees to generate leave quota. In current system, there is only Company Annual Leave quota but with a new requirement, should have another quota type calls Statutory Annual Leave for employees
    Company Annual Leave quota based on the day when employee joined the current company, this is maintained in IT0041 date type 01 Year of Service.
    NEW Statutory Annual Leave quota is based on the 1st day of  his 1st job in life ( this may not be in the current company )
    For an example, John has been working for 13 years for his working life and currently he has worked in Star company for 1 year and he entitles for 16 days Company Annual Leave.
    The Statutory Annual Leave entitlement is based on the criteria below
    1)  5 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 1-9 years
    2) 10 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 10-19 years
    3) 15 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works above 20 years
    The total Annual Leave ( Statutory AL + Company AL ) should be same as total of initial total company annual leave
    For John, he should entitle as below ;
    1) Statutory Annual Leave 10 days ( he worked for 13 years in life )
    2) Company Annual Leave ( the difference between total company AL(10)u2013 Statutory AL(16) = 6 )  6 days
    The roadblock Iu2019m facing now is where can I control the Statutory Data Type seniority in order to generate the new absence quota type.
    In the feature HDATE it is being set to 01 which all the leave related calculation is based on date type 01, but the statutory date type is 07 so how can I caters on date type 07?

    Since you able to set the seniority for company annual leave.
    same matter you can set the seniority for statutory annual leave.
    If the annual leave is fix to 16 days
    seniority for statutory annual leave
    1) 5 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 1-9 years
    2) 10 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 10-19 years
    3) 15 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works above 20 years
    Seniorty for company annual leave
    1) 16-5=9 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 1-9 years
    2) 16-10=6 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works from 10-19 years
    3) 16-15=1 days Statutory Annual Leave for those works above 20 years

    I have built a vacation leave holiday system for SharePoint Foundation 2010 using SharePoint Designer workflows and Javascript. Everything works perfectly but I'm struggling to design a solution for users to specify half day requests that span over dates
    greater than 1 day, i.e. my half day solution works but only when the start and end date are the same. How would I change the user interface to allow users to choose which day they want the half day to be requested when the vacation leave holiday request is
    from, say,  6th - 10th Jan 2014?

    I have a test on my machine with a custom approval workflow and it can work normally .Here are the detailed steps :
    1.      
    Open the site in SharePoint Designer .Create a workflow to associate with the document library .Set the workflow to start when an item is created and when an item is changed
    .Also allow the workflow to start manually .
    2.      
    Choose ‘Collect Data from a user’ .
    3.      
    Click on the data and give a name to the Task created .
    4.      
    Define the custom form field name as ‘Approve ?’ .Set the information type as Choice .
    5.      
    Set the choices as ‘Approve’ and ’Reject’ .Display as Checkboxes .Uncheck the ‘Allow fill-in values’ and ‘Allow blank values’
    .Click finish to save .
    6.      
    Click on users and add the users who will approve the documents .
    7.      
    Keep the output to variable as collect .
    8.      
    Add a new step .Choose ‘If any value equals value ’ .Set the any value ‘Data source’ as  workflow variables and parameters .Set the ‘Field
    from source’ as Variable: collect .
    9.      
    Set the value behind ‘equals ’ as ‘Approve’ .
    10.  
    Add a new action ‘Update list item ’ .Set the item as current item .Add the field Approval status as Approved .
    11.  
    Add an Else-if branch to update the Approval status as Rejected .
    12.  
    Publish the workflow and test in your site .

    Dear Experts,
    I need your experty for update one and half day in IT2001 i.e.10.01.2015 to 11.01.2015 will update hours, but when i am trying to update from 10.01.2015 to 11.01.2015  that time taking two days auto.
    Is there any way for one and half day / Two and half day in a one time update in SAP.

    ya watever in 2001 also  you can enter 1 hour also or 2 hours  .....and in portal also as in my screen shot you can update there ....have a look below i booked half day and full day leave for 10 and 11 april here ....

    this is full day the 8 hours here will automatically pick from dws which we do in time management

    Please guide me, i have done the config of counting rules to count 1/2 day for those leaves but while applying leaves collision errors come which deleted another half day leave.
    Another query, if i change time constraint and it allows 2 half day leaves on same day, how to restrict(functional config) only 2 half day leaves on same day.

    As far i know, this needs to be handled with exit or enhancement Time constraint does not full fill the requirement we may find some gaps.

  • Get an odd error message submitting half-day vacations

    Hi,
    I've written a web interface tool (php+saprfc) where employees can request vacation dates. Once the request is committed, the entry is forwarded to SAP.
    I use the BAPI_PTMGRATTABS_MNGCREATION which has the following Input fields:
    ABS_ATT_TYPE
    EMPLOYEENUMBER
    SIMULATE
    HRABSATT_IN which contains
    FROM_DATE, TO_DATE, START_TIME, END_TIME, ABS_ATT_HOURS, ALL_DAY_FLAG and PREVIOUS_DAY
    My functions is working properly for whole day vacations, in this case only ABS_ATT_TYPE is set to '0100', FROM_DATE and TO_DATE to the accordings dates all other vars remain empty.
    But now I try to implement the half-day vacations. I set the following values:
    ABS_ATT_TYPE = '0110'
    FROM_DATE and TO_DATE have the same date value
    START_TIME = '080000'
    END_TIME = ''
    ABS_ATT_HOURS = '4,13'  (germany decimal separator)
    ALL_DAY_FLAG = ''  (here, I'm not sure if this should be a 'X' or something)
    Now I get the following error message (I've no idea how to translate this german error message, I hope someone else can provide this?)
    E 12 Für An-/Abwesenheitsart 0110 sind nur untertägige Sätze erlaubt
    Could be something like: 'For absence type 0110 only subsurface records allowed' ??

    I doubt myself that 'subsurface' is the correct translation of 'untertäig'
    But your were absolutely right with your idea of the 'wrong' starting time.
    Just tried '090000' and now it works. Things can be soo easy )
    I left the END-TIME empty assuming the value would be calculated automatically. But the entry in SAP shows 09:00 - to 17:00 0,88% of a day. I guessed passing the ABS_ATT_HOURS value would be enough.
    I'm going to play with the parameters to figure out which are neccessary in which case.

        I'm sorry to learn that you have endured the audio issues outlined in your post for almost 2 years SusanLM1! This is certainly not normal! Let's get to the bottom of this issue, first please confirm your phone model; your mention that you have the iPhone 5 but your post is on the iPhone 5S forum. Also, share the iOS version currently installed on your phone. What is your ZIP code? Does this happen mainly while you make/receive calls from a particular location (home, office, etc)?

    Case 1-suppose Absence is registered on 15.11.2010- 18.112010.but on 17.11.2010 is a public holiday.in as IT2001 it is showing as Absence hrs =24 days,Abs days = 3 days and Cal days = 4 days .Quota used= 4.
    why it is not showing 32 hrs .

    The counting rule for absences takes care if the public holiday or non working days as to be counted when absence is entered or not.
    If you tick on (not  a public holiday) then only days which are not public holidays wll be counted in absence counting. If you dont check saturday sunday in the rule then sat sunday will be counted towards leave...Other options are also there for eg. Holiday classes. You can make appropriate settings  and include or exclude the working/non working days from absence counting.

    I did drop it from about 4 and a half foot during the reset so I don't know if that has broken it.

    See if placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allo iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore it.
    Next try DFU mode.

    No.  Your iCloud account only includes your the camera roll photos stored in the backup.  And they can only be accessed by restoring the backup to your phone.  Also, if you delete any photos from your camera roll and continue to back up, the backup that contained the deleted photos would be overwritten by one that doesn't and they would be lost.
    If you want to save some of them and delete them from your phone, import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. 
    Another option is to import all of them to your computer and delete them from your phone, then put the ones you want on your phone in a folder and sync them back to your phone by selecting the folder on the photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.  The advantage of this approach is that synced photos are placed in an album called Photo Library, which is not included in the iCloud backup (since they are already backed up on your computer), thereby saving space in your iCloud account (which only backs up camera roll photos).

    The Min 0 and Max is 999 days.
    No entry in table T556C.
    It is used Calendar days, No records in IT2003.
    User applied leave From    14.06.2010 - 21.06.2010
    Absence hours           47.50
    Absence days             7.00
    Calendar days            7.00
    Amount of leave          7.00  Days
    But in infotype0005 showing only 4 days, it should show 7.

    Present LOP (Loss of pay) is on calender day.if an employee on leave say for example from friday to monday his total LOP day are 4. /801 is configured on TKAU(absence in calender dasy) and doing right. but when it comes to half day LOP which is configured recently, we are not able se 0.5 as calender days in infotype 2001. hence,  i am not able to deduct Half day LOP

    RTE8 ( 3110= 310)
    3)Deduct absence hours (TSAU**= 5 Hrs)
    RTE-TSAU** (310 - 5 = 305)
    4)Converting the absence hours in to days ( RTE )
    RTE/8 (305 / 10 = 30.5)
    5)Multiplication with RTE*KGENAU (Multiply with the amount by the factor GENAU held in the constants table T511k )
    6)Divide the balance days in the period with total days ( here both are calendar days)
    RTE/TKDIVI

    My issue is resolved. We have tried with Custom PCR which will convert absence days into hours. With this we are able to achieve the desired result.
    Copied from standard PCR "INP1" to "ZNP1" and modified "/801 partial period factor 1" logic. Below is the PCR for your kind reference.

    RTE*KGENAU
    RTE/TKDIVI
