Halftone Pattern not working

When I select a layer that has an image (I am going along with a tutorial on the Kelby Training site) and I am using all the same settings as they are in the video, when i get to the Filter Gallery > Sketch > Halftone pattern the view goes all white. Nothing. I can shoose others and they work but I do notice that many do not. What is going on here?

Both of your color chips in your tool box are set to white. Press D to set them to default black and white.

Could someone explain me the difference between protected identity pattern and unprotected identity pattern (set in nam profile editor)? As I understand documentation PEAP-MSCHAPv2 is a tunneled method and it uses unprotected identity pattern to protect user's identity during phase 0. But if I use any fake identity here (anonymous, anonymous@[domain], etc) access is rejected (Access-Reject in switch debugs). I have to use exacly the same pattern in
unprotected identity pattern as in protected identity pattern ([username] or [username]@[domain]) to gain access, regardless of authenticaton mode (same in machine only, user only authentication)

Ok I've solved it... NAM works fine, problem was with NPS config. If you want unprotected identity pattern to work, just configure authentication methods under "connection request policies" not "network policies".

Multiple IDOCs pattern not working

Hello, When I tried Multiple IDOC to single file pattern, it is not working as expected. Everytime when a idoc reaches XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue and not collecting the IDOCs, any idea??

Yes, I have refered. I have done exaclty the same thing as in SAP Pattern for collecting multiple idocs to single file. Everything is working fine in BPM too. But the problem is whenever the idoc hits XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue instead of a same queue. So single message for each BPM and BPM waits for 3 minutes (mentioned in BPM) and times out. But my need is all the IDOCs should come to a single BPM queue and BPM needs to collect all the IDOCs and send it as a single file.

Patterns not working in adobe reader 9?

Hi all
I have a numeric field which is limited to 2 decimals.
When they enter 1000 it's displayed as 1,000 in Adobe 9 and 1000 in Adobe 8.
My pattern looks like this.
z9.99
I want it to be displayed as 1000 in all versions, any ideas why the patterns are working differently and how can I make it only display numbers and . as seperator and 2 decimals.
ex: 12345.67
10.50

LiveCycle Designer 7, Display Pattern not working

With Adobe LiveCycle Designer version 7.1.2295.1.242059:
I have a Form that has fields that the user fills out and an "Email Submit Button" where when the user clicks it, it submits the form via email that attaches a .xml file. When I receive the email, I noticed that all the "Date" fields data does not have the slashes in them unless the user specifically uses the pop-up calendar form to set the date value for each of these fields. If the user just types in the date as "02192007", the data does not get converted to "02/19/2007".
I tried modifying the various Pattern properties of the date fields on the form, but that does not seem to fix the problem.
Also, if I set the following "date{MM/DD/YYYY}|date{M/D/YYYY}" as my "Validation Pattern:" for my Date fields, and everytime I enter "2/19/2007", I keep getting my "Validation Pattern Message", indicating that the format is wrong. However, if I enter "02" as the month, it works fine; only single digit months fail.
The other settings for this field that I have are:
(Field Tab): Display Pattern: MM/DD/YYYY
(Field Tab): Edit Pattern: MM/DD/YYYY
What am I doing wrong and how can I insure that slashes will come across on the XML file when it is submitted even though I have set the pattern properties?

Designer 8 doesn't help either.
I have the same settings Shweta proposes - but the exported date format is still different.
You can fill the date field via script (like the following) then the date format is allright. To me it looks like the designer's "date format" is simply a string and the designer doesn't care a bit about the display patterns.

Pattern not working in Blending Options!!

I am trying to complete this tutorial and I am stuck on "Step 9 - Style the metal bars". I have triple checked my work following the given steps, and still can not get the pattern to blend onto the bars! Here's a screen shot showing that I have the gradient matched to that of the tutorial. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Oh...I was looking at the Step 9 screenshot of the faded 9 "Style the metal bars". Never mind.
Other than that, I'm not really familiar with layered compositions and hope someone better trained can see what's happening.

Display pattern not working - add $ for a numeric/decimal field

I've designed a form which has fields where I need to display currency(US) values.
I've made the fields as numeric type. I've added the display pattern as num.currency{} and also tried with num{($z,zzz,zzz9.99)}. But nothing seems to be working.
The amount value passed in the xml input is 7,002.978.
The result that I'm getting now is $0.00
When I changed the field to decimal type and added the same display pattern as above, the result that I get is BLANK: $
I need to format it such a way that it displays $7,002.99 in the form. There's no limit for the leading digits and the digits after decimal point should be 2. Is there a way to get this by changing the "PATTERNS" properties?
Please let me know how I can get the pattern right.

Hi,
By default it is not going to like the comma in your xml input, so you will need to change the data pattern. Try using num{z,zz9.999}, which works for your example value. With the comma it will treat the value as text and just display what it gets.
If your display pattern is num.currency{} then you will get two decimal places, but that makes the value $7.002,98. I'm not sure how you get $7.002,99 ... is that just a type-o?

Unique DOB Pattern Not Working

I have a unique pattern for a DOB field. If the user doesn't enter the correct pattern, a message pops up and the focus is set to the field - see script below. This works perfect for me, but not my users. I'm using Adobe LiveCycle ES with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and they are using Adobe Reader 9.0. Why would this make a difference?

The console throws an error with the one you use.

Load balancing on cookie pattern NOT working

I try to configure ACE 4710 LB A5(2.1) LB to do following:
1. client send a http request for login to WEB srv
2. server response and send a cookie Set-Cookie with following pattern JSESSIONID=C333C37FCF083D210A639ABB8BB9DB21.S01 (33 random body 3 char string server ID)
3. Client send authorize http request to other server with the cookie in URI (traffic not go via LB)
4. Authorize server send to WEB srv a request containing that cookie and wait for answer.
Client ----> ACE LB VIP ---> WEB server
Client -----> Authorize SRV ----> ACE LB VIP ----> WEB server
There are 4 WEB srv which have sessions ending in . S01 S02 S03 S04
I want that all login request to be round robin balanced, and authorize request to be forwarded to right WEB srv based on cookie termination S01 or .....

Lets say for your client request, server sent in response the following cookie "JSESSIONID=C333C37FCF083D210A639ABB8BB9DB21.S01". Ace will hash the cookie value "C333C37FCF083D210A639ABB8BB9DB21.S01" and associates the hash value with the real server in the sticky table entry. So when your Authorize SRV sends a login request to the ACE, if the cookie value is the same as
"C333C37FCF083D210A639ABB8BB9DB21.S01" then it will send the request to the same real server based on the sticky table entry.
You can check the sticky table using the following command to see what cookie value is associated with which real server:
show sticky database http-cookie "C333C37FCF083D210A639ABB8BB9DB21.S01"
To confirm if the "client" and "Authorize SRV" send the same cookie in their request you could take a packet capture on the ACE. If the cookie value is different then the ACE will check the sticky table and according to the match it will send to the correct real server.
Could you please confirm the cookie sent by both client and the Authorize SRV are same but still the ACE sends it to a different server ?

Translation Pattern not working

i got a wierd issue.
we have 2 TP, one 8122575 (has a full DDI coming in chelmsford) and one 8151198 (has a full DDI coming in stafford)
chelsmford and stafford are 2 different locations.
the partition/css are the same for both TP.
the Called Party Transform Mask is an external number and it pre-dial 9
if i dial from external phone to the full DDI in chelmsford, i end up on the external number so it works ok
if i dial from external phone to the full DDI in stafford, it goes nowhere ...
i checked the css but cant see any reason why chelmsford tp reaches to chelmsford gw and goes isdn and why stafford does nothing
any idea?

Hi,
Have you tried testing the call with Dialed Number Analyzer? I find that's a fantastic and often-overlooked tool for this kind of issue. If DNA shows the call will not route, it's probably a CSS issue for the Stafford gateway. If DNA shows the call will route, then it's probably a dial-peer issue on the Stafford gateway.

SELECT with pattern CP '50*' is not working on material numbers MATNR

I have a specific matchcode for searching on material numbers with a function module as selection method.
In this function module, the SELECT clause is built dynamically as bellow.
      SELECT (temp3)
        INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE result_tab UP TO CALLCONTROL-MAXRECORDS ROWS
         FROM (temp)
         WHERE (temp2) .
In the "temp2" variable, I use RANGES for the selection simply built with values of SELECT-OPTIONS coming from the search help selection screen.
I am facing the following problem :
When a search is executed on material number with the following pattern '50*' --> nothing is found !
When I run a search on '50575' --> the material number is found !
I expect it is a problem of convertion routines (external to internal format) but I am not able to fix a solution...
We are in SAP_BASIS 700.

I think it can be done.
I have -
CONCATENATE 'Z+_'   '00+' INTO r_ranges-low .
    r_ranges-sign = 'I'.
    r_ranges-option = 'CP'.
    APPEND r_ranges.
    SELECT ar_object FROM toasp
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF table lt_toasp
       WHERE ar_object IN r_ranges.
And it returns all values with pattern 'Z_00'.
(Z1_001, Z1_002 etc.)
If the pattern '50*' is not working, you could try using '50+++'.

My Offset filter not working in Cs6: Seamless pattern problems

Hi all.
Im trying to create a seamless pattern. using lots of layers.
Im going to filter/other/offset/, adding the vertical or horizontal dimensions for as 2953px (image size is 2953px x 2953px). and checking the ‘wrap around’ box.
But it’s not working & is cropping off loads of the layer, so not seamless at all.
I've tried with another layer and the same thing is happening.
I've 'revealed all' and shows nothing. I’ve tried to delete any transparent stray pixels around the layer I'm trying to wrap.
& I have also selected all & then cropped the image but it’s still happening.
I've googled till my hearts content but found no other idea on how to solve. Any ideas?
All my layers are from brushes I have created and used so lots of transparent textures. But that would be a problem if I have tried all of the above would it?

If you see on the top left and bottom left this is the "white flower copy" layer that I am trying to offset. This is a copy of the white flow with blue centre just to the left of the offset window.
You will see that the offset layer I want to wrap is missing the blue centre.
