At my Local Best Buy they have recently told me that there be having a Little Firefight battle and with strict rules to follow you could win your free
copy of Halo Reach I live in the Napa Valley Area so if anyone has any more info on the team of 4 Firefight Battle i would love to here back.

Today, Bungie released information about retailers including Recon Helmet Tokens with release day sales and preorders. My question is, is Best Buy in on this? I preordered the Halo Reach Legendary Edition from Best Buy about a month ago and was wondering if I would get this code. The offer you're talking about was indeed attached to the Reward Zone Gamer's Club. There were 1-3 months free of Xbox LIVE being offered depending on the version of the game you preordered. The Xbox LIVE subscription info will be sent to the email address you have on file with our Gamer's Club on or around release date of Halo: Reach.

Signed up for my free copy of Mountain Lion yesterday but still haven't received an email with a code - do you think it is because Apple is having an issue with having sent out invalid codes?

On the webpage it says you must prove your purchase with a copy of your receipt but it never gave me the option to attach it to the request so I am thinking they are unable to verify my MacBook was purchased after 6/11. Also, when I went to re-request my free copy of ML it said my Serial Number was already redeemed. Should I contact support or just wait it out?

How to get FREE copy of McAfee Virex (antivirus) with a .Mac account?

Not sure where to post this, but it relates to my .Mac account subscription so hopefully it's the right place.
I've been reading (in online articles) that anyone with a .Mac (aka MobileMe) subscription qualifies for a free copy of McAfee Virex (or whatever they call their virus checking software).
Is this true - and if so, where/how do I go about obtaining it? I've looked around for an answer, but to no avail. Would appreciate any help on this.

Free copy of Pages problem

Hello ! I was downloading my free copy of iwork and everything was fine . Keynote and Numbes downloaded and installed normaly but i wanted to pause Pages (in order to save some trafic for my network) but accidentially instead of pause i pressed the X button... now my pages does not appare as free anymore.Not only this , Pages also appear in applications tab ( not in Launchpad !) but can not open or resure the download ... PLease HELLLP !!!

How do I get my free copy of Mountain Lion?

I'm a very excited Apple customer because I received my MacBook Pro (Retina Display) today! Now that I have it, I would like to download my free copy of Mountain Lion! The only issue is, when I went to the website to enter in the purchase date, etc., I cannot proceed. I bought it online through the Apple Education Store, so I'm wondering (and this may be a simple question), but would that be considered an Apple Reseller (since I bought it through my school) or would the purchase be considered to be through the Apple Online Store? Thanks for helping me with this seemingly simple problem!

Congratulations on a sweet machine! I will eventually upgrade to Mountain Lion, but not until 2 or 3 months have passed to shake out the glitches, etc. that are invariably in a new product with this much complexity.
As to your question, I scanned this "community" yesterday and recall coming upon another Retina owner who was bemoaning the fact that he was still waiting for his email from Apple that would allow him to download his free upgrade to Mt. Lion.
Now, I have not done actual research into your situation, but thought I would pass along my findings of yesterday. Try searching in the forum for related postings. Good luck, and have fun with that Retina display!!
