Today, Bungie released information about retailers including Recon Helmet Tokens with release day sales and preorders. My question is, is Best Buy in on this? I preordered the Halo Reach Legendary Edition from Best Buy about a month ago and was wondering if I would get this code. I really hope that it comes with it because it is too late to cancel my preorder. Game Stop and other retailers have confirmed that they are including these codes, but I haven't heard anything about Best Buy. Any information would be great! Thanks.

Refurbished xbox 360 halo reach bundle

I ordered the refurbished250 gig xbox 360 haloreach bundle Which is supposed to come with 2 controllers, halo reach, month of live, a headset . When the it arrived we opened it and found that it only came with 1 controller there was no halo reach game and there was not a month of live in it neither. called on friday told us they would call us back. After we ended our conversation on the phone we decided to plug in the xbox to see if it worked and before that we checked to see if it had the hard drive and to our surprise it too did not come in the package. after finding that out i called again and they told us they were gonna call us back. Now its Wednesday and no call back. we decided to check to see if the controller worked and found out that one of the buttons on the controller that actualy came with the xbox doesnt even work! Can i get any help?

Hi I have recently got Halo Reach and i was wondering if you would like to play my Gamertag is

I obviously agree with you! I've made myself quite clear that you cannot put anything in-between frames. The rest of the world doesn't seem to understand that point. At least not the ones who are offering me "help".
And of course PE is designed around video and frame rates. Just like Photoshop is designed around photographs. But Photoshop and PE are flexible applications offering more than one might imagine.
I'm a firm believer in selecting the application that fits the user's ultimate goals. Right now, PE is the closest application I have found that does what I want, though I am looking into Adobe Flash as a possible alternative. If someone wants to be helpful, thay may want to suggest to me other alternatives.

The offer you're talking about was indeed attached to the Reward Zone Gamer's Club. There were 1-3 months free of Xbox LIVE being offered depending on the version of the game you preordered. The Xbox LIVE subscription info will be sent to the email address you have on file with our Gamer's Club on or around release date of Halo: Reach.

I read online that Best buy had inflatable energy swords but also the individual said there were free microsoft points and subscription to xbl. Is this true?

The inflatable energy swords were a promotional item confirmed by Microsoft and Bungie representatives. I know of no other confirmed midnight release promotional items at this time. I would suggest stopping by our midnight release event in your area or asking if the local store managers will divulge this top secret information!

Halo Reach In-Store Pick up at Midnight?

Is there a concrete answer regarding in-store pickup at midnight? I already received the second email saying its available for pick up "during store hours 9/14/2010" at my store ...which is having a midnight opening.

only certain stores are doing it.. call the 1888 # to figure out which ones, and to change.. but they said when i called there system is down...and my store isnt doing midnight.

Symptom:
When the Mac goes to sleep, the 2 Windows Mac File servers volumes are
disconnected. Upon wake, the error message stating they were disconnected are waiting.
The Xserve volume is untouched. This should not be a problem
since the Windows servers are running Appletalk via IP not
native Appletalk protocol.

Airport Express vs. D-Link Dir-655 = no xbox connection

I cant seem to get my airport express to connect to m exisisting network. it just wont work. it keeps asking me to find apple devices at the end of the setup. Meaning it was me to find a airport extreme or time capsule. which i do not own .
I own a D-link dir-655 wireless n router and i cant get them connected together. my router/modem is downstairs in the living room, and my flatscreen is in my room and the xbox.
I want use my airport in my room for the xbox and and play live can anyone help?

I am using a D-Link DIR-655 as well and trying to hook up the Airport Express to extend the range as well. I have tried just about everything, and well nothing seems to be working. I updated the router to its latest Firmware, and I don't think that the router has the capability to use WDS settings. I have even tried to find some DD-WRT for it and no one has made anything for it, it seems to be something with what D-Link does to the router or its hardware specs.
Anyways, I've tried to get my Airport Express to join my network even tho it is not a 802.11n its the older version, but on my router settings I am set to use 802.11n/g or even b.
For the Xbox problem set it up with an Ethernet cable because;
1. You don't want lag
2. Its a helluva lot easier.
If you must connect it wirelessly, make sure your adapter is plugged in fully and that you actually have one. The Xbox's do not come with wireless adapters unless you have purchased a new Xbox 360 Slim ( I believe there calling it ).

What's a good forge game for the iPad?

I was wondering if there was a game for the iPad kind of like Gary's Mod or the forge on Halo Reach.

There isn't one, and there won't be one. Apple and Adobe could never get a flash player that worked. And now since Adobe has ceased all production on mobile flash, there won't ever be one.
Your best alternative is to explore the app store for browsers that support flash and see if one of them will do what you want.

Last night the internet went down and and did not start working again until late in the morning. Now today when I play Halo: Reach I go in a server online and it just kicks me out and puts me in a game on my own when the game starts.
I've reset internet & every thing and still messing up. Yes my modem dose get turn off at night but can't see that having any thing to do with it.

A other thing I saw yesterday was the inturnet went down on the laptop but was still working on xbox and only way to get them both to work again was to reset the modem. Then other times they both just go down like I said in first post.

Linksys WRT320N - PLEASE HELP!

All I wanted to do was change a setting in my Linksys WRT320N router through its web page (192.168.1.1). For your information, I was playing Halo Reach and it kept kicking me off for having a "moderate" NAT setting on my router. I looked into and it seemed like a simple fix. I simply needed to access my roter web page and set the NAT to "disabled". I must have changed the admin password to access the web page because nothing I tried would work. So, I did a hard reset on the router. That allowed me access to the web page. The web page was working properly. The router was and is networking to the other computers in the house properly as well.
However, the Internet connection could not be made through the router.
I have:
-Connected the modem directly to the nearby PC (bypassing the router) and verified internet connection.
-Attempted to gain internet verification (access) through the router by using "Clone my PC Mac" function.
This produced the correct status information, IP address, etc. Yet, I still get no internet connection.
-Reinstalled the software that came on the CD with the router.
-Reconfigured my router with said CD.
-Received this message upon completion of configuration from said software, "CONGRATULTIONS! You're Linksys router has been successfully configured. However, the internet connection could not be verified."
-Power cycled the modem, the router and the nearby PC several times. However, it is possibe I am doing that in the wrong order or at the wrong time.
I still can't receive internet through the router. I tend to believe it has to do with the router and modem not "liking" each other for some silly security reason. Linksys Tech support says its my ISP but they'll fix it for $30.00. My ISP says its the LInksys router. I don't know where to go from here. Do I bite the bullet and pay linksys money they dont deserve? I want to think I can still fix it myself.

Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of your Linksys router also make sure that Internet is connected to the router .
Press the reset and hold it for 30 seconds .
Power cycle the modem and router .

I just really stink at this game or they are doing something to increase their kil*l rate.

Play on hardcore. Also, try turning up your sensitivity in the gaming options.
Some other things to try:
Choose stopping power and an assault rifle like the SCAR or the M16 if you've unlocked those.
Shotguns are your friend in close ranges.
Aim for the head.
Barring that I go for the silent but deadly type of gameplay. I can run-and-gun or camp with silencers and the stealthy loadouts like Cold Blooded and Ninja. That makes it much harder for the other team to get a bead on my current location. And move from cover to cover helps as well.
Hope that's of some help! I love that game a lot but I'm dying for Call of Duty: Black Ops, Medal of Honor and Halo: Reach to come out.
