Hamachi WIndows 10
My Computer is a Dell Latitude E6510 running Windows 10 Build 10130 and hamachi isnt working. WIndows says it has not valid ip config and hamachi says it has a tunnel problem. Before you answer, I have already wiped and installed Hamachi multiple times, keeping and removing user settings. I have gone into Device manager and I see the virtual ethernet adapter. I also see that adapter in network and connections settings. I have also tried to flush the dns as well as set the metric to 9000. I have tried basically every solution every type of search on this topic will bring on the first page. I need help cause im trying to connect to my friends server and everyone can connect but me. This is honestly the only problem i have ever faced with hamachi. Pls Help. Thanks
Hi all,
Hamachi 2.2.0.383 has just been released yesterday.
This version is designed to fix issues originating from upgrading to Windows 10.
Please update your Hamachi and let us know if you still have issues.

Installed Hamachi on Windows 8.1 comp, can't connect to internet
Hi, my friend and I have been trying to get a network set up so we can play Minecraft together. Everything works fine on his end, but when I installed Hamachi to join his network, it kills my internet connection. The icon in my taskbar says I'm connected, but I can't get any webpages to load. Uninstalling Hamachi immediately resolves the problem, but I'm hoping there's a way to get it to play nice with my computer. I've used Hamachi before, on a Windows 8 computer, and had no problems. I tried this fix, but it only seemed to resolve the issue for ten minutes or so. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Bump.

Windows 10 - Hamachi Adapter not Installing.
Hey Everyone i need some help with Hamachi, I was on Windows 8.1 and it worked perfectly fine but i decided to get a newer version of windows (Windows 10) and now hamachi is completely useless and other VPN programs dont work either, its just the adapter and heres what i have tried so i dont get basically duplicates of what i have done:Connections Tab under RegistryUninstalling and Re-installingTrying a older versionDevice Manager and Add Legacy Software (It says that it has timed out)
I am still wrestling with this problem -- and not for the first time with a Windows 10 update. I have followed the instructions in the first post in this thread and also yours about the QoS Packet Schedulerr. One thing I'm not clear on is what you mean by not needed IPv4 or 6. Should these also be "unticked"? The Hamachi adapter is displayed in the list of network adapters shown under Network Connections. It's labeled "Internet 2," "Unidentified Network" and "LogMeIn Hamachi Virtual Ethernet Adapter #3". I've tried restarting several times and I'm still getting the yellow triangle on my remote computers and I'm also not able to connect to my proxy software (Privoxy) from my primary PC. When I click on one of my peer PCs displaying the yellow triangle in Hamachi, it shows "Error" for VPN Status, and when I click for more details on the settings page, the message says there is a "network adapter error." The last time I had this problem a month or so ago, I tried so many different fixes that I wasn't sure how I actually fixed it. I'm pretty sure I did everything this time as last, but no cigar. Any further suggestions?

Windows 7 hamachi can't update
So i was recentlyt pass to Windows 10, but with Hamachi who doesn't work i retrograded to windows 7. But the update of this day who fix windows 10 problem won't update. i'm trying, but the update won't installing, there are blocked. I can't upgrade, this was about 4 hours who hamachi try to update now, but it won't.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
I'm on Windows 10 and there's always a yellow triangle next to the network in Hamachi. It says it is a tunnel problem. How can I fix this? I wanna play Terraria with my friends.
After two days, I finally have found the solution. (I'm Spanish, so I don't know how things in W10 are named, but i will try to explain it as clearly as possible.)
1. If hamachi doesn't start (it opens the diagnostic tool) and it says service is not started, go to Services>LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Service>Start . Open the UI again and it should work as normal.
2. If yellow triangles are appearing next to your clients (as the problem I had) make sure that:
- You have the Hamachi network adapter in your adapters list. Go to Device Manager>Network Adapters and if you can't see the Hamachi adapter, you need to install it. Actions>Add (heredated??) hardware. Click next until you see a list. Find the hamachi controller. It should appear now in the adapters list.
- If yellow triangles are still appearing, rename Hamachi connection if it isn't called "Hamachi" (mine was named "Ethernet 2"). Restart service as you have done in step 1.
- If those evil triangles are still there, right click the network tray icon and choose the second option (i don't have any idea how in English is named). Choose the Hamachi connection and click Properties. Untick the DDoS option or anything like that and click accept. Restart the service again and the yellow triangles should dissapear now.
Hope this helps,

Hamachi 2.2.0.383 and Windows 10
Hello everyone,
A new build of Hamachi has been released that resolves your issue with getting the Hamachi adapter to work in Windows 10. Use this link to update to this build: Hamachi build 2.2.0.383
Please note that this fix requires that the malfunctioning NetWork bridge be removed. See the Release Notes and accompanying troubleshooting guide for detailed instructions.
Sincerely,
Lisa Kate
LogMeIn Community ManagerCan I just say you broke the hamachi. This new build which automatically updated onto my clients now cause the RSA key to not validit. I have a system on 24/7 with the client installed & then I deployed hamachi onto other systems & they all connected perfectly fine without problems what so ever. Then they all auto updated & now I get this problem. Every single connection says Peer has changed the RSA key, Connection blocked. Now manually updating the RSA temp fixes this but then as soon as you sign out or reboot the system again the peer has changed the RSA key. I thought I had fixed it by updating & then removing the key from cache but the problem comes back if you reboot more than once. Just for the record, all systems are running windows 7 & as far as I know, no intention of installing the bug riddled windows 10 Fix this asap!

[SOLVED] - Printing to a Windows XP printer
I've already installed cups, samba, gutenprint, foomatic and hplip packages.
I need to print from my arch laptop to a printer linked to a Windows XP desktop pc.
The printer and the desktop are elsewhere, so I had to link my two pc with a vpn using Hamachi.
The printer is a HP Laserjet 1200.
I tried to figure it out with the web cups interface.
I chose "Windows printer via Samba" and as URI "smb://HamachIP/HP1200"
HP1200 is the printer name on my Windows XP pc.
If it can serve I set in both computer "CASA" as workgroup.
As ppd file I used this.
If I try to print a test page the printer doesn't do anything.

Hamachi Replacement - With a Few Other Strings
I run a server in a computer science lab, and I use Hamachi to allow remote clients to access the server for SVN and other programming utilities. The server is within the school district's network, but Hamachi manages to get a direct connection, and I can see that it's managed to get an open port on the internet-facing IP address of the district network. I assume this means that the district's internet-facing router has Universal Plug n Play enabled? I know it's a Windows Server.
I'd like to set up OpenVPN to replace Hamachi (I'm hitting the user limit on the free version), but how do I get an open port on the public IP address like Hamachi does?
Last edited by arew264 (2009-04-09 03:43:23)Well, what makes me think it's opening a port is this:
[root@Reno arew264]# hamachi list
* [NETWORK_NAME]
* X.XX.XXX.XXX <ServerName> <The School District's Public IP Address>:33845
That definitely looks like Hamachi managed to open a port. I know it's the district's public IP address (or at least the public address I'm behind - they may have several) because it matches what I get when I SSH into the server and go to www.findmyip.com.
I guess I should run Wireshark while Hamachi starts up and see exactly what it's doing.

Windows 8.1 Pro DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD
I built a PC a few months ago, and recently decided to move to Windows 8. I had a Windows 8 upgrade key, so I had to go through Windows 8 before I could move to 8.1. Before I could upgrade to 8.1, I needed my Ethernet driver updated, because W8 does not
have the proper Intel I217-V driver. I downloaded the latest driver off of the internet, and when I went to install it, every time just before the installation finished, I got a BSOD (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION). I had to install the drivers off the CD. I upgraded
to Windows 8.1, and updated the drivers without a problem. But now, every once in a while, I get the same BSOD in the Windows 8.1 login screen. I have uploaded the dump file to SkyDrive.

Their 1/23/2014 driver (which is your date) is buggy. I suggest you contact them for a patch, beta, or work around or wailing that revert to an older driver until they figure it out

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS (44)
A driver has requested that an IRP be completed (IoCompleteRequest()), but
the packet has already been completed. This is a tough bug to find because
the easiest case, a driver actually attempted to complete its own packet
twice, is generally not what happened. Rather, two separate drivers each
believe that they own the packet, and each attempts to complete it. The
first actually works, and the second fails. Tracking down which drivers
in the system actually did this is difficult, generally because the trails
of the first driver have been covered by the second. However, the driver
stack for the current request can be found by examining the DeviceObject
fields in each of the stack locations.

Hamachi turns off on 3G or degraded DSL connections
We Use Hamachi to allow us to remote control unattended windows XP machines in remote locations but we find that after a few days Hamachi gets turned off and is therefor no longer on the Hamachi network and we have to drive out and manually turn on the GUI to get it back on. We only have seen this issue on 3G connected machines and on a machine where the ADSL connection is poor. Is there a setting that will avoid this happening or is this a feature?
Hi
No we had no response so have gone to neorouter and it works fine, interestingly it is only recent installations that are effected by this. Such a shame as it was a great solution when it worked. -
Cannot install hamachi because of previous version
I am on Windows 7 x64 and I am attempting to install the newest hamachi, but I cannot because hamachi says it found a previous version which I attempted to uninstall but it refuses telling me it cannot find hamachi-update.exe located in windows appdata and whatnot. So I removed all registry entries and files on my computer dealing with the search terms hamachi and logmein, but I still cannot install the newest hamachi because it gives me this error
LogMeIn Hamachi version [PREVIOUSVERSION] has been detected on your computer. Would you like to proceed with an update?
if i click no the installation closes if I click yes i get another error
The older version of LogMeIn Hamachi cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
Then the installation fails. There are no hamachi services in msconfig or task manager, and it is not still being detected as a network adapter so I assume it is no longer on my system. Now I need to find what files might be left over on my system that still cause the installer to find an old version of hamachi can anyone help me?மிக்க நன்றி !

VPN between Mac and Windows? share printer and USB drive
Hey everyone, I'm out at college and have a Windows SP2 desktop set up in my room with the printer and our external hard drive. I travel around campus with my macbook pro (10.5), and it'd be really nice to access the printer and my external hard drive.
Problem is that since its a huge vast network, I think its near impossible to do a direct "IP" connect to it. So the next option is to use a VPN, which I have experience with Windows and Hamachi, but I have no idea how to incorporate a VPN between a mac and a windows computer.
Thanks!Hi Eric and welcome to Discussions and the Apple world.
Mac OSX can read and write from Windows partitions (like the BootCamp Windows partition you are about to create) when using FAT32 as file system for Windows.
However with FAT32 you are limited to a partition size of 32GB.
Mac OSX can also read from Windows partitions that uses the NTFS file system, but it can not write to them unless you use a third-party helper like either Paragons NTFS for Mac http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/ or NTFS-3G http://www.ntfs-3g.org/
Windows can not even see or use a Mac OSX partition without additional help by MacDrive http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/

Linux Hamachi doesnt work properly [SOLVED]
When I run the linux hamachi, I seem to be disconnected from hamachi all the time. everyone else says that I'm "blinking"... When I run hamachi inside of VirtualBox under XP, it runs fine...
1) Is there a way to make hamachi work without reconnecting every minute under linux?
2) If not, is there a way to run hamachi inside VirtualBox, but make the network available outside, in the host? I tried using "Host interface" to connect the Guest with the Host and creating a bridge between the hamachi interface and the LAN interface inside of XP but it didnt seem to work...
Thanks for any suggestions..
Last edited by icetonic (2010-05-15 11:53:06)Hmm I checked the FAQs
running
iptables -A POSTROUTING -t nat -o ham0 -j MASQUERADE
as suggested didnt help...
EDIT:
Finally found the fix - its a compatibility problem with the new windows clients and the old linux version...
creating the file ~/.hamachi/config with content
KeepAlive 10
helped

Stuck on "Signing in..." Windows 8
Ok, so ive done some searching before posting, and all things ive seen suggested aren't working.
The windows 8 skype app works, and so does the app on my phone, the desktop client refuses to sign in though.
Here is what i've tried.
Installed all windows updates
Uninstalled and reinstalled skype to insure im using the most up to date version (6.11?)
Re-registered the .dll files
Turned off windows firewall completely (i have exceptions for skype though, and no other firewalls or antivirus programs installed)
Created new shortcut using the /leagacylogin
Reset I.E to default settings (dont understand what that has to do with it)
Deleted the Skype folder in %appdata%
Deleted the DbTemp folder in %temp%\skype
Uninstalled LogMeIn Hamachi
Uninstalled 6.11 and tried 6.10
Logging in with microsoft account
Logging off iOs App, and windows 8 app
Eventually i get the message "! Skype can't connect."
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
