HANA Analytical View Display Data Issue

SAP Experts,
Need your kind help for the below issue,
I've created an analytical view from a DSO Active Table in HANA Studio. Through IDT (Information Design Tool), when I tried to view the contents of this DSO table (AYPURDA0100) by connecting to HANA, I see the following error which is mentioned below,
Error:
Error while refreshing the data provider.
Cause of Error:
SAP AGSDBODBC DLLHDB General error;7 feature not supported: cannot execute select * on olap cube: zthd/AYPURDA0100: line 1 col 26 (at pos
Note: The AYPURDA0100 table contents are displayed in HANA Studio. However when a view was created with NO join conditions for the same table with few selected fields including measures, the display data is not working.

Multiprovider display data issue

Hello,
I'm using BI7.0 and created Multiprovider using Custom DSO and Infocube1.
the problem is, when i use display data through multiprovider, I'm not able to see data from DSO .
I have considered all common fields from DSO and Cube and assigned in multiprovider.
basically I'm selecting all IO and Keyfigures from Infocube1 and few IO from DSO
some reason I am not able to see data from DSO when i view data through multi provider.
Please help me to view data from both cube and dso through multi provider.

Hi Ganga,
Please check whether there is any restrictions for the field 0PROVIDER. There may be restriction to get the data only from cube.
If there is no any restrictions then here may be your problem.
You need to maintain atleast one key figure in both targets.
Since there is no any key fig coming from DSO
please create a dummy key fig and try to check once again.

Objects not visible in Map Viewer Display Data with Mouse Moveover

Hi All,
On version 11.1.1.5.2 OBIEE with Map Viewer a customer has the following problem. Data objects are not displayed as expected on the map when the visibility check box is disabled on a dashboard. However the data about the object is incorrectly displayed on the map when the mouse is placed over the location of the hidden object.
The customer's screen shots show a map with a panel which has a list of assets with a check box controlling if the asset is displayed. When the check box is off then the asset image is correctly not displayed but when the mouse is placed over the hidden asset’s location then incorrectly a pop window shows the hidden asset's Tooltip data.
I was unable to reproduce this in-house with an OBIEE dashboard connected to Google Maps.
In the MapViewer User Guide there is a reference to a MapViewer JavaBean method “setSVGShowInfo” which appears to be related to this:

Anyway, the Mapviewer javascript API is being used in OBIEE (not the java bean one).
Is it a standard obiee map view which has this issue?
Try the OBIEE Sample App (available on OTN)
Try Dashboard page 3.3. SF Metrics. There are two layers that can be shown on the map (Revenue and Billed Quantity, and Establishment Revenue).
Enable both and on hover the Rev & Billed qty info is shown. Uncheck Rev & Billed Qty and only the info for Establishment Revenue is shown on hover or when clicked on.

List View still displays dates as numbers after 2.1 Hotfix

Just tried the List View component after installing Fix Pack 2.1 Hot Fix. I put a list view component on the canvas, selected 3 datesone for each header, changed the Appearance - Header to Date and then hit preview. The first header worksshows the dates but the other two headers show numbers, not dates.
The documentation shows that this was fixed, see below

Blank records are showing as '0' in Analytical View

Hi,
     How to avoid blank records not to be shown as '0' in Analytical View? Can you please help me on this?
For your information: from the above image, there's no data for column 3 for Fiscal Period 005 - 012 but it's displaying as '0' rather than showing it as blank while I do a data preview of an analytical view.

     The analytical view generated in Hana is based on Bex query imported from BW.
     Actually I'm calculating Year till date (YTD) Last Year(LY) Sales, TY(This year) Sales based on posting period.
     In Bex query for YTD Sales last financial year data its posting period would be from 1-12(ie., for the entire last year what's my sale).
      While doing calculation for YTD current year, since we are in posting period 4 which is july month(i.e,calculation would be from 1-4), rest of the month's would not have any data for YTD Current year. It's showing as blank in Bex query. But hana analytical view is displaying as '0' which ideally should come as blank.
     Kindly let me know how can we handle this.

Getting error for Analytic Views data preview on HANA Studio

Hello
I have multiple Analytic Views and when trying for data preview, those all are throwing error as "Object Not active or broken" (attached below). I have activated these objects 5-6 times and got successful message but unable to data preview.
Other persons in team and from different machine using my user id can run data preview successfully, so something problem with my PC. Already I have uninstalled - restart PC and reinstall 3 times for HANA Studio and HANA Client software but problem not solved. During re-installation, I found its getting my previous settings like system details etc. already populated. Even I installed in different folders, however problem not solved and system details automatically received on next start.
Please guide me to solve this problem

Hi Suman,
Can you change your system workspace and also the secure storage.
It can be done via a parameter in the shortcut of studio in the Target field after the exe write
-data "<WorkspaceLocation>" -eclipse.keyring "<AnyLocation>"
While usually this is a server error, it should be studio specific.
Nevertheless, do the above settings and let me know your results.

C#/SharePoint -View State related issue while exporting data to excel

We have web application based on SharePoint. We have a list view to display data based on Search Criteria. We have total of around 16000 data. When we try to export all data to excel it gives an error. The cause of the issue is:
View State is used to save the state of page i.e. the previous state. When the export to excel link is clicked, the data present in the grid is actually saved in view state so that the overhead of again generating
the data(as per the selection criteria) can be avoided. Now, this View state has a limitation of storage of these records. When we put in some selection criteria, the no. of records is less hence no problem in actually storing the view state. But when there
is no selection criteria, 16306 records are too much to be stored in view state. Hence the error occurs.
We tried to solve this issue by creating a compressor class and overriding two methods:
LoadPageStateFromPersistenceMedium
SavePageStateToPersistenceMedium
This has resolved the issue with Export to Excel. However, there is now some issue in the paging of the list view. The list view has a column with hyperlink which opens related data in a form. While we click on the link in 2nd
page of the list view, it displays data for the link in the 1st page at same row.
Please suggest how to resolve this issue or any workaround for this

Issue with display data from infoset

Dear Experts,
When I am trying to display data from BI INFOSET in (Execute in background ctrl+F2)backend it is working fine but when in try to run the execution in forground (execute F8) then the system gets hang.. and time out. could any one has this kind of experience. if so kindly let me know do i need to implement any patch or else which way i can do work to resolve this issue.

Display data from multiple document Libraries in List View Webpart

Hi All,
I want to display data from multiple document libraries into one list view webpart(custom i have created)

but it tells to display only from one document library.
My motive behind displaying data in the list view webpart is to achieve the functionality of Check In ,Check Out and other OOB features.

As there is no such OOTB feature, a workaround is to create a visual web part to gather items from libraries and implement functionalities like Check in, Check out files
in different libraries.

Display data as a tree view on IE5

I want to display data which is parsered by .xsql and use .xsl transfrom to HTML as a tree view(using javascript).
Is there any sample or suggestion will eb grateful.

A new version of the Tree Tag will be out some time this summer, by the way. It features:
1) The possibility to attach an object to a tree node (getObject(), setObject(...)).
This means you can display more information in the tree than just what is available
on the tree node itself. The information in this attached object can also be displayed.
This attached object can for instance be rendered by Struts's <bean:write ...> tags
2) Client side event listeners.
A new tag will be added that will only evaluate it's body when a node is expanded, collapsed,
selected or unselected. This way you can have a small bit of javascript sent along with the tree html to the browser, when a node is expanded/collapsed or selected/unselected, that for instance reloads the page in another frame in the browser
3) The <tree:tree...> tag will be able to detect selected/unselected nodes by itself, if the select request is sent to the page containing the <tree:tree tag>. In the current version only expands/collapses are detected automatically. This new feature is implemented to support the client side event listeners.
4) Someone asked for no-arg contructors of the TreeNode for use with reflection. They will be added to.
A larger, more detailed manual will probably also be available for a small fee, in addition to the free basic user guide and the free web app. example.

How to perform Descending Order function on a DATE column in Analytical View

I have the below requirement
For the article/site having a+ stock quantity from table MARD field LABST, check the last goods movement date as a receipt table MSEG field SHKZG value "H". To get this information fetch the data from the table MSEG & MKPF. The lead time from that date till the present date is the ageing information. Show the output sorted on the duration as ageing information.
Created a calculate column with the below code and it is populating data i.e. multiple records for the same item for different dates like
daysbetween(date("BUDAT"),date("CURRENT_DATE"))

Now I have to sort the date (BUDAT) (highlighted in bold above) to be sorted in Descending and then take the first record and then apply the the above formula to get the aging stock.

Hi,
But I don't think you need to go for scripting view. What you can do here is create one more calculation view , insert this analytical view in the projection and select date as measure and pick max value and then create one calculated column and put your logic.

Error when displaying analytical view

I own a cloudshare account. i created attribute views and when i want to display, it worked. but when i created the analytic view and look for "open content" option, its missing. then i gave the sql command "Grant select on schema SYSTEM to _SYS_REPO with grant option". then also it didn't work. please help. the relevant screen shot is attached.

Tree view display with ztable data

I have seen this post.................

My requirement is to create a Tree view .... looked around a lot but no detailed explanation to this topic. along with this forums detials i looked into the standard BSP Component CRM_THTMLB_COMP for tree view help. I am new to MVC so lost at some point.
Accordingy to this explanation i was able to achive the tree structure in the value node...
But how to display data in tree? what codes need to be put in the get ...set methods..
Actually i created a table view and the value node is refereing to my ztable....so all the get and set methods are in this impl class. and the new impl class to tree structure does not have these methods...should i create all of them again ...or can i refer to the value node impl class get and set methods.....what code needs to be called in the get and set methods.
if anyone can give me some help on this............

Output data differs in Analytic view

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to figure out the solution for the Analytic view. I have created a calculated column based on the Input parameter.
In the Input paramter I have defined as ('$$IP_TRANSACTIONYEAR$$'='2012',"SALES REVENUE"*50,"SALES REVENUE").
So in the output , when the Year 2012 is declared the sales revenue has to be multiplied by 50 and must view the data.
But all the rows are bring multiplied and i get the resultant data. I dont know the root cause of the error.
Can any one guide me in this approach?
