Hana on Solution Manager/DB Parameter empty and greyed out.

Dear all,
on this oportunity i'm configuring Hana DB on Solution Manager 7.10 SP08 (Recently upgraded to SP08), before the upgrade on SP05, the system was correctly configured but with the upgrade to SP08 now i see this:
like you see the instance name it's empty!! and i can't find how fix this.
Please if somebody have a solution or a clue, i've this problem on DEV and PRD.

i found the solution, if some one have this problem, can check the sapnote 1951729.
if you don't see any changes, try creating the connection through trx. dbacockpit and then assing the DB conection created previously (dbco trx-sapnote). Next step check it on solman setup (enter system parameter step).

My timeline empty and grayed out. :-(

I shot a video of multiple presentations (1-10 min clips) in training class. I imported the clips into Premiere Pro CS3 in lieu of Elements (more my speed)...anyway. I want to create a highlights video using 30 secs to 1 minute excerpts from each clip (I have about 15) Problem #1: I have set markers and "ins and outs" for the excerpts I want; however; I do not know how to save and/extract them. Problem #2: My Timeline panel is empty and grayed out, so I cannot drag even the whole clips into the timelne.

"Copy files on import" checked and greyed out in elements organizer 12

Elements organizer 12. Importing from hard-disk. Want to import without copying files, but the box "copy files on import" is checked and greyed out.
Remains so even when selecting a fresh jpg file. (Import with copying is not a good option: eventually more than 50.000 pictures and videos are to be imported -
I would have to delete my main media file structure in favor of adobes internal storage. Major hassle right at the start of using adobe's software..).
What can I do ?

If you are also using iPhoto; Elements will make copies to your hard drive to prevent corruption of the photo Library. The choice is Organizer or iPhoto to manage your images or you can use iPhoto together with the Elements Editor; in which case you need to set Elements as your external editor within the iPhoto settings.

I figured out how to make this work, at least on my computer. Hold CTRL key and hit ENTER. This leaves the space. Hope this works for you.

Boxes and grey outs

k in windows you know how theres sometimes boxes around different sections within "panels"? I think its called legend in javascript, might be wrong though. That's a titled border. Check out JComponent's setBorder method and the
javax.swing class BorderFactory. As for "graying out" components, that's what
they look like when they are disabled -- Component method setEnabled.
To disable components on a container, you can't simply disable the container;
you have to disable all the components individually, although it's easy to write
a recursive function to do that.

How to Strikethrough and Grey Out Check Box

This is my first day using LiveCycle. I am trying to make a check box form (upon checking) strikethrough the entire field and grey out. I have the following FormCalc which I know is incomplete. Please help!! Currently the value is just causing my checkmark to turn the color value I've indicated.
(I have these settings Show: Click, Language: FormCalc, Run At: Client)

When i save an enum as a type definition i can no longer disable and
grey out it's caption or label. When the enum is not a type def, i can.

Voltage options in bios all set to auto and greyed out

I have a MSI X48C motherboard. The bios allows me to change the FSB, FSB/Memory ratio along with a couple of other values, but all the voltages are set to auto and greyed out so I can't change them. I don't understand why this is the case. How am I able to change these voltages. I have tried enabling and disabling various functions in the bios, but nothing seems to unlock the voltages. What do I have to do?

It states this at the bottom of each bios screen, the help menu states this information, and the manual states it.

The Solution Manager Service Desk is a great tool for incident management in a system landscape that includes SAP, as well as other technologies.
I wanted to find out whether tickets that contain sensitive information (HR-related) can be segregated and "hidden" from support team members that are not supporting any HR functions.
Also, is there a way, assuming tickets can be segregated by function or support team, that the email message users receive upon the creation of the ticket can be custom tailored?

Solution manager with EP , Abap and java stack

i am planning to install Solution Manager 4.0 with Oracle 10G. in win2003 . Along with ..can i install EP,JAVA and Abap (netweaver) in the same server with MCOD??

avoid MCOD in environments where the systems do not have any transactional relations.
this is exactly the case between SOLman and any other SAP System.
Solman should not be installed on production servers use development or qa systems, use 64 bit.

Similarly we are also planning to upgrade ST-A/PI from 01K_ECC600 to 01L_ECC600.
In the process, I am planning to upgrade SPAM/SAINT as well as R3Trans and tp.
We are planning to implement this in
01) ERP --> DEV, QAS, and PRD.
02) BW --> DEV, QAS and PRD.
Should we also upgrade our Solution manager system. If so, how to find the prerequisities.

Thanks a lot for replying again.
Infact, I had already gone throught the note 781448.
But what really fishy is, using Solution Manager you have to do a lot of work like
downloading latest patches, configuring EWA Alert etc and for everything you need to get connected with SAP Network.
Since ST-A/PI is the core software which plays the communication part with SAP Network,
and Solution Manager is the System playing the key role (as per SAP), but funny thing is
that they have released the latest Patch for all systems except Solution Manager System.
Even though it is being the fact, it is very hard to believe. Anyway thanks a lot for your time and your inputs were reassuring.

We are implementing this Solution Manager in already existing SAP server.
We have server like TSAPNGN, In this server already our QAS ECC 5.0 and QAS BW 3.5 are exist and running in this server.
I need information like, What is the pre_requisites to install SAP application, where already another SAP exist in Server.

There is no difference whether you are installing the Solution Manager on a separate server or an existing server already containing the DEV system. you will get some idea from these Notes

I think, you should go for Central System installtion for the Solman, with it's own database.
and what do you mean by 'standalone solman' here ?
Just go 'installation and upgrades' -> My application components -> SAP Solution Manager -> Solman 7.0 or EHp1 -> Installation and upgrades

installation and upgrade guiedes -> SAP components -> SAP Solution manager -> Select solman version
