Handling Kits from purchasing and handling in Warehouse point of view

Hi SAP Guru's,
I have a requirement
There are 15 different mateirals which are maintained in Material master seperately with different numbers but all will have to be procured from one vendor same time and issue is each material is consumed on the production order and have different safety stock levels and cannot be purchased independently as vendor also sells them in one KIT/BOX which has all these 15 parts?
how can anyone will know when ordering these parts need to be on same PO? and need to do GR and Transfer order and pick TO and GI done in one transaction rather than 15 times?

From the Easy Access screen type t-code SAP1 in . That will change the paths to all of the reports by area.
Under "MM > Inventory Management > Inventory Information Systems" there is a whole list of LIS codes. The same applies to the different areas (i.e. "MM > Purchasing > Purchasing Information Systems"

Problem with 848p NEO V and GeForce FX 5600 point of View

Hello there,
I have bought a mobo yesterday (848p NEO V) then when I tried to plug the graphic card (Ge Force FX 5600 point of view) the computer reboots just before entering Win XP PRO.
So I tried another graphic card (ATI 9200), all worked fine.
In the same way, I tried my GeForce in another mobo (ECS P4VXAS) and of course all worked fine.
Each time I tried the MSI mobo with the GeForce card (using diffrents drivers), it doesn't work.
Does someone know where could this problem come from?

There are no merits & demerits whcih decide the number of compny codes to be created....

Movies suddenly missing in my library, from purchases, and from iTunes

I have recently noticed that numerous movies have gone missing from the library on my PC where all of my content is stored. The files are still in my iTunes/Movies folder but will not play when I try to add the file back to my library. In addition, when I go to my purchase history, it's saying that I have over thirty movies that are "not on this PC". This all started happening after Apple added movies to iCloud. I had the same thing happen when iTunes match first came out with TV shows on my PC.
In addition, one movie that I was looking for, "Cedar Rapids", which was purchased from the iTunes store, doesn't even show up on the store anymore. It is not included in my prior purchases, nor is it in my library. Other than my receipt, which took some time to locate, there is no evidence of this movie anywhere and there are numerous other examples like this from my library.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there an easy fix? Re-downloading all of my movies or doing an audit to find all of my missing movies is not something I want to do.

You can only upload music from your computer's iTunes, you can't do it from an iOS device - when you subscribe to iTunes Match on your computer it should have scanned your music library on it and matched or uploaded any non-iTunes purchased music to it.
Do you have copies of those tracks anywhere e.g. on an iOS device or on your backup of your downloads/library ? If they are iTunes purchases then they should be in the cloud. If they were copied from CDs or bought from other sources then if they are only on an iOS device (i.e. you don't have them on a backup) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Build Distr Kit from MeasStudio and VC++ 6.0

I have built an application using VC++ 6.0 and Measurement Studio 8.5. I now want to distribute this as a stand-alone app (Meas Studio and VC++ not needed on the target machine). How do I do this to include all necessary NI dll's and other stuff, including cvirte.dll, etc? I think I want the equilvalent of a distribution kit for LabWindows, but I can't find any documentation on this.

How normally Supplier VAT (input tax) handled in Accounting point of view?

Dear Experts,
We have a scenario for one of our Group companies to handle Tax entries.
The mateials imported have to be charged with VAT 10% and to be paid to Government not to vendors. Is it possible to handle it thru tax procedure? Thru PO pricing procedure we are able to handle it. But the client talking about Tax procedures.
Example of complete purchase cycle.
Total material Price 1000
Frieght 200
Now the Tax 10% to be applied on the CIF price (material price + Fright i.e. on 1200/-)
How accounting entries for Goods receipts to be created, whether the tax amount will be updated to material cost?
If not what are accounting entries normally to be created during GRN?
What entries to be created during LIV?

This can be done in the following way..
Create a vendor with the name of government for VAT.
In pricing procedure create a condition type which acts on the cumulative amount of CIF (i.e. cost, insurance or Freight) which is of percentage calculation. consider this as of type "delivery condition" then automatically the cost incurred will be posted on material.
while creating PO, enter this condition type in condition tabs with the created vendor condition detail screen.
Make a GR, then we need to do Invoice verification for this by taking "delivery cost".
Payment will be made for the same by accounts department.
Note:
1. For the same if you want the system to hit different G/L account instead of GR/IR account you can maintain it by creating a new Account reference and maintain the same with required G/L account in OBYC. Feel free to ask any questions on this.
2. The only extra step or burden for the user is he need to create a Delivery Invoice though he will not receive any invoice from the government. Where in he can maintain any internal reference in the reference field of the Invoice through transaction MIRO.

Until the next version of Lightroom is released, you need to use the DNG Converter version 8.7RC to convert your RAW photos to DNG and then import the DNGs into Lightroom.

Our Client (Wholesale distributor of alcoholic beverages) is using Bonded Warehouse to receive imported alcoholic beverages. As with most distributors, the recommendation for Product pricing at this client is to use a moving average approach. The plan is to use the u201CTotal purchase priceu201D, which is defined as (PO price + inbound freight (if freight is arranged by client) + taxes (federal, state and excise taxes) applied at the time of purchase), for the calculation of the moving average price. However, if alcohol is received into a u201Cbonded warehouse locationu201D (physically within the same warehouse building but segregated), taxes are not applied until the inventory is moved from the u201Cbonded warehouse locationu201D to the u201Cregular warehouseu201D. u201CBonded warehouseu201D and u201CMain warehouseu201D are 2 storage locations within the same plant. They are not 2 separate plants. While we can manage the u201Ctotal purchase priceu201D based on whether we are receiving into a bonded warehouse location or not, there are 2 open questions
u2022Is there a way to separate the inventory value of the bonded inventory from regular inventory other than using split valuation functionality?
u2022Is there a way to update inventory value by the tax amount when we move product from the bonded warehouse to the regular warehouse using transfer posting?
We would also like know the best practices and how do other companies handle bonded warehouse in SAP. Any help you can provide us would be great.

-Within the same plant, I dont think there is any way to segregate Inventory valuation without using split valuation
- If you want to add custom duties to the inventory value, you can go for STO between storage locations, your STO doc. type wil have the pricing procedure attached . The pricing procedure will have the full calculation schema including CIF , Custom duties ,CVD etc. you can pay the duties (custom MIRO) before dispatch and the accounting entries at time of PGI will load the duties on inventory.
if u use normal MM 311 transfer posting, then u ca'nt add any values to stock. (unless u go for some Z dev and Post MR21 in background .., which id not recommend)
. Normally bonded warehouse is handled by creating a separate plant .
Is the Bonded warehouse also a RG23D registered Depot? (does your client have an importer distributors license?)
also , in case of alcohol, is the duty treatment similar to excise ./CVD in other products? or does alcohol have some separate levies?
if its a RG23D depot, then you will need to create excise and series groups accordingly.
