hi.
i want to capture video from 2 or 3 usb webcam in labview. i want to have the name of all webcams like microsoft windows movie maker that lists webcam names and then select one of them and then capture.
how can i do this?

As mentioned in this article, you can still use LabVIEW with multiple cameras, but multiple
cameras cannot simultaneously acquire. You can use the IMAQ USB
Enumerate Cameras VI to identify each camera plugged into your system
and access them through the other IMAQ for USB VIs.

I can't find where to start my webcam on my Satellite C655D-S5529. It worked in April but wanted to use it a few days ago, I couldn't find anyway to start it. The webcam is in my Device Manager and says that the device is working correctly. Thank you for your help. Diane

Suppose that several VIs running simultaneously on the same computer. How can I find out the names of the running VIs, from another VI?
If the already running VIs are clones of the same basic VI, open and run with the option "Prepare to call and forget", how can I find out the names and index of each clone?

I had an application where I spawned (= ran with Start Asynchronous Call) multiple (reentrant) copies of VIs, and would occasionally "lose control" of them. I needed a way to find all VIs that were running "Top Level" and stop them (so I didn't have to log off from Windows).
I used the Application Property "All VIs in Memory" to get an array of (wait for it ...) All VIs in Memory. I took each name, opened a VI reference to it (simply wire the name string in, as the VI is, by definition, "in memory"), looked at its VI Execution State, and if it was Run Top Level, Invoked the FP.Close and Abort VI Methods. [To prevent the VI that did all this from "committing Suicide", I compared the name string with the current Call Chain, and did nothing if there was a match].
I think you could adopt this idea to do what you need.

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located.

After renaming clips, where can I find the original name?

Sorry, I asked this before but got an answer more about custom naming. So...
After importing my dslr clips with their uninformative date and time names, I often rename them so I can tell what's on them. But sometimes I want to know the original name which doesn't seem to be in the 'Info' panel anymore since I renamed it. I can 'Reveal in Finder' which will show the original clip but you'd think FCPX, since it keeps track of the clip, must have the name squirreled away somwhars. Anybody know?

I don't get where you mean. I see where to apply a custom name, I'm saying, after I've changed the name either in the Browser or Info panel, I don't see where the original name is and I'm asking where I can still find the original name in FCPX.
I know I can "reveal in Finder' to see the original clip with its name but there must be another way in FCPX itself.

If you have only one account, then your admin password is your user password. If you use another account that is not an admin account, then log into your admin account from which you can change the password on your user account.

They can't be deleted so one of 3 things happened:
1) You moved them into folders or to different pages. Reset the home screen layout if you can't find them. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
2) You set up restrictions on them. Settings>General>restrictions.
3) You added an Exchange account for which the administrator has specifically prohibited the use of Internet browsers and cameras on phones.
The only thing you can do in case 3 is remove the Exchange account and appeal to your IT department to change the policy.

FaceTime can't find my camera

I have installed Lion and now FT can't find my camera when attached to the cinema display. I can't get to preferences or do anything. iChat can. Now what?

I may have fixed this. Open FT and go to the view menu and select display isight as the camera. I then see myself and can use it. I'm not sure what that means. The other camera is FT HD, which I assume I'd want!, but for now, this may be a fix.

I'm not totally sure I understand what you are asking or expecting to see.
You will only find your Photo Stream photos in iCloud, not the camera roll photos. What I mean is that any older photos that you have in the camera roll will not appear in the photo stream. Only photos that you have taken with the iPad, after you turned photo stream on, appear in the photo stream.
You can create a shared photo stream album with older camera roll photos, but the camera roll itself is not in iCloud.com.
Where are you looking in iCloud to see these photos?

Background callable object : can not find this class name

I have created java and enterprise application DC and deployed successfully. But while creating CO in design time when i am selecting application and entering class as com.examples.bckgco.UserDetailsCallableObject for Implementation Class Name , and on click next i m getting exception as "can not find this class name". package and class name are correct still getting this excetpion message. Plz help me to resolve this solution.

Hi, kavita.
First, make sure you choosed the correct container when you created the background CO.
Second, make sure your package name was "com.examples.bckgco" and class name was "UserDetailsCallableObject". The exception which you got just means you entered incorrect name.
It doesn`t relate to your program.

If not:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Does the iPod connect to/see other networks? (you were not clear)
Does the iPod see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
