  • Appraisee should get access after Part Appraisal in "HAP_DOCUMENT"  BSP Application

    Dear All,
Your valuable Inputs are strongly needed ....
Requirement: After Part Appraisal completion,  Appraisee should access the document by his own ID to give the comments.
Client is using "HAP_DOCUMENT"   BSP application on ESS.
Document movement is successful till Part Appraisal, but after this Appraisee is Not getting the BSP document to give his comments.
We are using following settings in PHAP_CATALOG_PA:
For Part Appraisal:  Status 'In Process'  and  Sub-Status 'Part Appraisal'  -  Standard
After Part Appraisal for  Appraisee:  Status 'In Process'  and  Sub-Status 'Overall Appraisal'  -  Standard
Button Used for Appraisee:  "Send to Final Approval".
We also have applied BADI  HRHAP00_BUT_ACCESS, HRHAP00_COL_access  for corresponding Status and Sub-Statuses.
In PHAP_CATALOG_PA also we have done all the settings for Appraisee and Relevant columns, but still the same problem.
If it is Not possible, then Suggest any other way  so that Appraisee can access the BSP document and give his comments after "Part Appraisal".
It is really very Urgent, Kindly suggest how to achieve this ???
    Very Thanks,
    Edwin

  • BSP Application: Entering User Credentials again

    Hi all,
We are having a BSP application in our Portal and all the related settings of the UserMapping and System creation have been done properly.
Even after performing the UserMapping, when we run that BSP iview , it prompts a dialog box to enter the UserId and Password ( of R/3) .
Why is it not taking the same UserId/psswd assigned in UserMapping ?
How can I stop this Prompt Window .. where I enter the user(r/3) details again .. ?
    awaiting for your valuable inputs..
    Thnx,
    NR

After UserMapping you can add the user name & pwd to BSP URl as below:
    http://<host_name>:port/sap/bc/bsp/your_bsp_application_url.htm<b>?sap-user=<sap log on id>&sap-password=<passwrod>&</b>sap-client=<client no>
This will avoid the logon pop-up.But here pwd can been seen by others.

  • How to put bsp application mime object path in WAD 7.0?

    hi all.
I'm already know 'bwmimerep:///sap/bw/mime/Customer' will be changed to /sap/bw/customer/  mime repository path when it's published in WAD7.0.
but is there any way get mime path custom BSP Application?
for example If I made test.jpg in 'ZBW' bsp application
I should use full url   'http://domain:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/zbw/test.jpg'  instead of relative url '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/zbw/test.jpg' if I include url in WAD7.0
is there any idea put relative url in WAD 7.0 certianly I don't want include full url because develop and product server domain is different.
    thanks.

it looks like bwmimerep:/// prefix is the only one available which points to SAP->BW under mime repository.
the standard help states (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ppm400/helpdata/en/44/5001d197c01193e10000000a155369/frameset.htm) to use custom images in WAD
"You can store your MIME objects anywhere in the MIME Repository under SAP->BW"
May be we need a mechanism to create bcmimerep, publicmimerep, etc.

  • BSP APPLICATION HAP_DOCUMENT BUTTONS

    Hello All,
In the standard BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT related to course appraisal, when the page loads from this BSP application where course appraisal needs to be done , there are some buttons like Complete, Save , print, Exit, Execute etc.
Can anyone tell where are the texts for these buttons populated from , like which table or which OTR text or text element or basic settings in standard transaction lso_eval_catalog.
Actually these texts need to be translated and so it is necessary to know that from where these texts of the buttons are coming.
    Thanks,
    Sritama.

    HI Dear.
Check it this file "document_buttons.htm" in hap_Document BSP application...
and for the button it get the data from class.
    class name : CL_BSP_HAP_DOCUMENT_CS
    example : CL_BSP_HAP_DOCUMENT_CS=>C_BSP_ON_CLICK_EXIT

  • Restricting Concurrent users on a particular BSP Application

We are having an appraisals link in the PM section of the portal which runs the HAP_DOCUMENT BSP application. We have to restrict the number of concurrent users accesing this application at the same time to about 600 so that the server will not crash...Is there a way by which i can find out the no of users accesing a partcular BSP application concurrently??

Appearently my interpretation of how Logon Groups work don't match up to their actual sophistication.
They use this number of users only as a gage to load balance between mutliple app servers.  It never uses this amount as a limiting factor.
Sorry if I led you down an incorrect path.  It seemed promissing.  However you could at least use this approach to limit the load to a single app server.  You could then configure the maximum number of concurrent connections in the ICM on this app server.  However this probably only works if you are willing to dedicate a single app server to this single application.

  • Data entered by ITS application partly not available at BSP application

    Environment:
We have an old ITS application to enter absences and presences to SAP HR.
And we have a new BSP application to delete absences and presences.
Both applications are available for the employee in an employee self service, that has an navigation developed with BSP.
    Problem:
All data entered with the ITS application, could not be deleted in the BSP application, if the user does not log off. Or until he deletes one dataset, that he did not entered after the current login. If he deleted one old dataset, all new datasets can also be deleted.
The ITS application stores the data with the function HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA.
The BSP application deletes the data also with the HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA function.
But its strange, that I can read the newly entered data with select from the Database or the function HR_READ_INFOTYPE. But when the users selects this dataset, the BSP class currently read, the HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA cant delete, because of the message "no data in timeperiod". Even the function 'BAPI_ABSENCE_GETDETAIL' reads the data.
Seems to be some kind of buffer problem. Reading the data is possible, but trying to modify/delete does not work.
    Also this did not help:
    *using more commit works.
*Try to initialize buffers with the functions "HR_INITIALIZE_BUFFER", 'HR_PSBUFFER_INITIALIZE', "HRPAD00_FREE_PLOG_TAB" or "HR_PSA_CLEAR_BUFFER"
Trying to delete the absences with the function 'BAPI_ABSENCE_DELETE' instead of the HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA function (without DESTINATION and with DESTINATION 'NONE').
Does anybody has an idea, why my BSP application works fine with all datasets, entered before the current login, but can not delete datasets I newly entered (but I can read them, I only cant delete them!). And what is more strange: after I delete on old dataset, then I can delete also the new datasets!

Is your provisioning profile for Development or Ad-Hoc distribution?
Also, it would help if you posted a screenshot of you target settings as well as your Info.plist file.

  • How To Upload a Mime Object into BSP Application??

    Hi all,
I am new to Developing BSP Applications.
I have a requirement to design a BSP Page and in the header part of the page, i have to display a JPG file from my local PC.
To achieve this, I did the following:
    1) Upload/Import  the MIME Object(JPG File) into MIME Repository and into the relevant BSP Application.
    2) After the import, i can see the JPG file that I uploaded in the MIME Repository under my BSP Applciation.
    3) In my BSP Page, I tried to use the uploaded JPG file using the following Source Code, as was explained in the Documentation.
    <IMG SRC="myfile.jpg">
I did not not do any basic mistakes and went according to documentation in using the above mentioned SRC command to upload the Image from the MIME Repository onto the BSP Page.
But when I run my BSP Application in TEST mode, the Image never shows up; I tried all different way to get this image on the BSP Page and i could not.
I am currently on ECC 6 Version. Please guide me.
    Thanks

all that you have to do is reference the image in your page.
    <htmlb:image id            = "TOG"
                       tooltip       = "tooltip text"
                       src           = "picturename.jpg"/>
    2) After the import, i can see the JPG file that I uploaded in the MIME Repository under my BSP Applciation.
Can you see this in SE80->applicationname->mime objects folder

    Hi Vijay,

I checked the mentioned class in R/3 4.7, This class is not available. I hope this is only in CRM because of PC-UI.

  • WebDynpro equivalent of the BSP application (HAP_DOCUMENT)

    Hi-
We are using ECC5.0 and EP 6 SP15
Do you know if there is any WebdynPro application which is eqiuvalent to the BSP application  HAP_DOCUMENT (appraisals)
    Thanks
    Sharath

    Hello
I have a similar problem. SAP Help suggests that there is a webdynpro application (sap.com/msseeproPersonnelDevelopment) that calls iview "com.sap.pct.erp.mss.personneldev_appraisals". However when i look in the portal content studio i only find "com.sap.pct.erp.mss.appraisals". When i look in the webdynpro content administrator i cannot see sap.com/msseeproPersonnelDevelopment. Does anyone know where I can download these?

  • Error in Appraisal HAP_DOCUMENT bsp appliation - Weight zero for objectives

Error in Appraisal HAP_DOCUMENT bsp appliation - My client requirement is to store appraisal document with induvidual performance objectives even with zero (0.00) weighting. But on processing (saving/navigating to next status), standard business check "FM HRHAP_BC_DOC_BODY" is called which checks for "Weighting can't be 0,00"... Is there a way to skip this...
(Note - the default weighting for each of the five induvidual objectives is assigned as 20. On going into the document and on chaning this weighting for any one or for more than one weighting to zero, this standard check is performed)
Suitable answers / suggestions would be rewarded....

I dont think that is possible.
ESS is based on netweaver platform, and we can show a BSP page in that.
But the structure of HAP document is completely different where in there are many documents and also there is a controller which also plays a crutial role.
    Regards.

  • BSP_ALL authorization object for BSP Application

We develop a BSP Application and want to give the correct authorization object in the user roles.
After looking on help.sap.com We see, we must add the BSP_ALL object and give the name of the application.
I add the object in the role but it not visible in the role. In the profile I see the object but it's not possible to me to change the value ' '.
Why can I see this object in the role ? and how can I adapt the value of this object ?

The class of this Object CRM is not defined on the table TOBCT

  • Mime objects in BSP application

    Hi all,
We have a BSP application with mime objects (images). We have assigned a default user to the application node in SICF. But when we test the BSP page in the browser, it  still prompts for the userid/password, for the images.
How to set the user for the mime objects so that it doesn't prompt for any userid/password.
    HI,
we noticed that one of the images was refereing to another BSP application , hence was prompting for the password. So we uploaded that image in the same application and now it works fine.
    Thanks anyways..
    Thanks & Regards,

where are mime objects stored? within your application?
if yes and if you have assigned default user and password in application node it should not be prompting for user id password.
is this prompt only happenning for mimes or for the application.

  • BSP Application object reference

    Hi,
In My Z BSP application, I have used the standard class CL_BSP_HAP_DOCUMENT_UI application class.
In one of the button click, a HRHAP00_DOC_BC BADII is implemented. In this BADI, i wanted to get the reference of the BSP applicaiton object. I wanted to know which button of BSP is clicked to bypass some piece of code. In R/3, for the same button SY-UCOMM is filled. when the same is run from portal, this SY-UCOMM is not set. How to get the reference of the BSP object in this case.
    Regards,
    Lekha.

    Hi,
you´ll have to create your own BADI (definition and implementation) as a Z object. Check first if behind the button that you mention it is possible to implement another BADI. It might be necessary to work also with a Z class instead of CL_BSP_HAP_DOCUMENT_UI. You´ll have no other choice, since you may not modify standard objects.
Once you have created your interface, BADI definition and BADI implementation, you can add a method for catching the event OnClick. It might be necessary to define an event in the interface behing the new BADI for catching the event and calling the method that will process the information.
