Hard drive crashed/ Photo shop elements 7 can't be reinstalled/license key valid for one installation

Good Day All Forum People!
My hard drive crashed! I cannot install my Photo Shop Elements into my new hard drive. The License key is designed for one download to one computer. How do I download not only my Elements 7, but as well all my tutorials/training videos.These are original videos not copies(I Paid For) in 2009 for college.

If that does not work for you then you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

As far as your tutorials and training videos go, you will likely have to research that yourself since no one here is likely to know what those were nor where they can be acquired.

Well, yes, data does get corrupted sometimes.
The trick is finding what data.
By 'cleaned' are you therefor meaning that the drive has been erased and the system re-installed?
Because that's the quickest way to deal with such a situation.
Back up the system first of course,
Add back 3rd party apps one at a time in case one of them is causing the problem.

What's your OS? Acrobat 8 is not compatible with any modern OS.

You won't be able to install your original Acrobat 7 at all, or use your original serial number. The server which used to allow this was switched off.
But assuming you have a compatible system, like Mac OS 5 or Windows XP, licensed users of Acrobat 7 can download a replacement and get a replacement serial number.

There is no serial number for a trial version. You get the serial number when you purchase. You should be able to select an option to continue with the trial if it is not indicating the trial is over. If the trial is indicated as over, that can happen prematurely for a variety of reasons.

Hard Drive crash, photos gone...iPhoto inoperable. Help!

I had a tragic hard drive crash, 98 bad sectors. Computer guys installed new drive, did sector copy, installed Tiger. I seem to have lost my entire photo library (and music files C-Z) and now cannot even upload new photos from my camera. When I tried to open iPhoto it says "No Photo Library." When I choose "Create New" it doesn't work
I saw someone else's posting about Tiger having no iPhoto. Could this be part of the problem of a) why I can't open iPhoto, and b) why I can't find any of my old photos?

actually able to find the names of my old iPhoto
folders, but cannot open them or anything. They are
marked with small blue icons.
I assume that iPhoto will now start in each user account, and give you access to the iPhoto Library for each user. Log in to the user account from which you want photos transeferred. You will find a folder named "Shared" inside the folder named "Users" on your startup drive. In the "Shared" folder, create another temporary folder. Launch iPhoto and drag the selected images that are to be transferred to this temporary folder (you could just as well "export", but that will change the creation dates of the exported images). Quit iPhoto, log out of the account, and log in to the account that is to receive the images. Launch iPhoto in this account, activate the Finder and navigate to the "Shared" folder. Drag the temporary folder from "Shared" into the albums pane of the iPhoto window. The photos will be imported into this library, and an album created.

Quite possibly, yes, but it depends on how extensive the file damage was. It might be worth spending 30-some dollars for a FireWire enclosure to see if the disk can be mounted on the desktop (in which case you can drag folders onto your healthy drive), or whether an application like DiskWarrior can correct at least some of the problems.

I think my hard drive crashed.... can it be replaced?

My macbook just crashed two nights ago. I tried to reboot, but did not work. My firefox was open, my iMovie was opened... then I switched it off and on back. There was this image (a box/folder with a question mark on it). Then I tried to reinstall my OS, but it could not find the HD. But at least my DVD drive still works. So, I guess my Hard Drive just went kaputt!

Yes, your hard drive is probably dead. You can use any drive, of course, but I would strongly recommend buying a new, boxed drive.
I have installed laptop drives, including Apple portable drives, and it is quite easy. Follow the instructions, and remember to ground yourself before touching the new hard drive to install it in the computer.

Let me start with the general advise...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

In which case, unless you have an existing subscription to iTunes Match, you're out of luck. I could have helped pull back the media and playlists from the device if they hadn't been wiped already.
I guess you could take a look at this iLounge Article anyway. In some cases the database on a device can be wiped without actually deleting the hidden media content. Even if it has been wiped there may be a chance that an undelete tool could restore the deleted files, but it is a long shot. Either way the playlists are gone for good.
For the future see Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy. The tool can also be used to backup other important documents and data.

I just put in a second hard drive which I am using as my start up disk. I want to know if I can install OS 9 on the other hard drive so I can use my older programs.

We need to re-install and no matter how we try the message is buy a new one. We don't need a new one, just need to use our original one.

I think this probably needs a ticket submitted to support unless someone moderates here who can reset your license. I believe that your product was activated when your drive crashed and you obviously could not deactivate Adobe since the drive died. I have a similar but worse problem because mine is an upgrade and I do not have the original Adobe X license. Unless they have a way to take care of that type of situation, I may be out of luck. I am going to submit a request for help (probably be calling them on Monday to see if I am out of luck or not.

Hard Drive Crashed, Photos only on Apple TV 1st gen. Help!!!!!!!

I have installed the patchstick creator from http://code.google.com/p/atvusb-creator/. I also have Cyberduck. I have connected to my Apple TV via Terminal on SSH and on Cyberduck with the protocol SFTP. However in the Pictures folder there are no photos!!!! But on Apple TV it says there are 3000. Please Help!!

There are a couple of posibilities.
Make sure the tick box next to the individual episodes are checked in the TV Show section (not the AppleTV device section).
Your itunes database may be corrupted and tripping over in some way. Unlikely if you can transfer to iPhone.
Could you have deleted/moved the files using Finder and itunes still thinks they're there but can't find them? Unlikely if you can transfer to iPhone.
iTunes may for some reason be thinking these files are not compatible with AppleTV 1 - possible if there's been some change to the way iTunes assesses suitability for AppleTV.
iTunes is failing to sync with AppleTV due to a network issue.
Personally, I would try both the following:
1 - Ensure you have a backup of the TV Shows outside of iTunes. Delete the TV Shows from iTunes. Re-add them from the backup. Try again.
2 - Create a new test user account, configure AppleTV for sharing/streaming only under AppleTV's Computers menu for this iTunes. Add the problem files to the new user iTunes account, do they work from there?

ouch. okay, i've only ever seen that error message once before ... in that case there turned out to be registry damage on the machine. xks finally managed to fix it by using a registry cleaning utility:

Reinstall Acrobat Pro 9 after a hard drive crash?

So I am sitting here looking at the disk I have and the serial number. I cannot remember where we bought this and I am not sure I even have that documentation anymore. All I can recall is that it was 2 licenses per disk. I do know we did not buy it thru the adobe website.
Can I re-install on the new hard drive or am I going to have problems activating because there is obviously no way to deactivate the old one since the hard drive crashed?

If you have only installed once, then you still have one activation left. If you have no activations left, then you have to contact Adobe and explain that you lost the harddrive so that they can reset your activation count.
