Hardware Help PLEASE - Mad Catz PC Con

Hello there. I own a Mad Catz PC Con (wired) as well as a Mad Catz Wireless PC Con. I can't get them to work on my computer. I also have an application called USB Overdrive that allows me to use the controller with applications that wouldn't otherwise support it (it's the same concept as GamePad Companion I think). The controllers used to work great for me when I had Tiger, but now that I've upgraded to Leopard, I just tried to use them for the first time and nothing happens. Is it possible that they were uninstalled during the upgrade process -- I can't find instructions anywhere on the internet for how to add new hardware on the Mac OS X. Is this something need to do with these controllers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to figure out why they won't work. When I go to the USB section of System Profiler, it lists the Mad Catz controllers like it should, so I know they computer is reading them, but they aren't working for any of the applications I have set up in USB Overdrive (again, they used to work fine with Tiger). I don't know where to go next with this. Can anyone help? Thanks alot for your time and help.

I also thought that maybe the Video Card or the CPU temperature is increasing and causes the hardware interrupts but the CPU temperature doesn`t go higher than 37-38 degrees Celsius and the SYS temp is 1 or 2 degrees lower. For example right now i am copying some files from a DVD and the Hardware interrupts are using avg. 30% of the CPU and the CPU temp is avg. 32 degrees Celsius and the SYS temp is avg 29 degrees Celsius. The temperatures are taken from the Core Center programme from MSI.If there is any other way to see my CPU`s and system`s temperature please tell me to check it.
As for the Hard Disks I am checking now one of them and there may be a problem.I will do some tests and i will inform you as soon as i can.

I am trying to set up Audition to be able to record from playback from the computer, as well as a usb mic. I have a Dell XPS 8300 with Realtek High Definition Audio. What kind of a sound card should i get that works well with Adobe, and could handle multiple audio inputs and be able to record from playback in other programs on my computer?

Whilst there are plenty of external sound devices around that will let you use multiple inputs successfully, some of your other requirements are going to cause you problems, especially with a Dell. For instance, the chances of getting a USB mic to work alongside an external interface - well it's not impossible, but to say the least, you're unlikely to get any sort of trouble-free result. This is because you are going to have to use an external driver (like ASIO4ALL) to merge both devices into something that Audition can recognise. We've been asked quite a bit about this before, and nobody's ever come up with a truly workable solution.
Generally, the thing to do is to get rid of your USB mic from the system, and plug a proper microphone into a suitable input on your sound device, and record it like that. This gives you other useful things as well, like the ability to monitor what you are recording on the external sound device headphone socket. One of the problems often encountered with Dell's approach to the internal sound device is that they simply won't let you do this - they think that there's a danger of feedback occurring and that all their users are too stupid to be able to do anything about it...
And Dell's other problem (although it's by no means limited to them) is that they've been got at by Microsoft and the RIAA. The effect of this is to make it incredibly difficult to ever record the output from any other program - because they insist that all of this constitutes piracy, even though there are loads of legitimate uses. So they disable 'what you hear' as a record input internally. There are ways around this using something like Virtual Audio Cable, but they aren't easy to set up. It's ridiculous - the audio equivalent of disabling Cut and Paste...
What all this amounts to is that you, as a naive user, purchase a computer thinking that it will help you with what you want to do. So you ask sensible questions about it, and discover that the answers are anything but sensible! Most of these things are solvable, but only with some considerable effort on your part, and possibly a little rethinking.
What's the end result you are trying to achieve? It's often easier to point at specific solutions than general ones.

WRT300N VPN setup through hardware help please

I am trying to set up a VPN from one of my offices to another. I have a Linksys WRT300N router. I want to do it through hardwear and not through software. Can this be done with this specific routher? If so can someone walk me through how to set it up?

If you don't want to use a software for VPN connection then you'll need VPN routers at both the ends like RVO42, WRV4400N etc.

Help Please! -- issue with Mad Catz controller

Can anyone help me out here? I have a Mad Catz Wireless PC Con and I'm having trouble getting it to work. After plugging it into a USB port, when I go to the System Profiler and go to the USB section, the PC Con is listed as hooked up to the USB port like it should be, so I know the computer is reading it properly, but I can't get it to work. When I open the apps I want to use it with, the buttons don't do anything. The obvious reason for this would be that the PC Con isn't compatible with those applications, but that's not the issue here because I have an application (USB Overdrive) that allows joysticks (or controllers or whatever) to be set up to work with any application, and this always worked for me perfectly when I had Tiger. With Tiger I used to use the PC Con with the emulator applications all the time, but now that I've upgraded to Leopard, nothing happens when I hit the buttons. There were no decent instructions with the PC Con. Is there anything I need to to do install the controller first before I can use it or something like that? Does anyone have any ideas for me? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

In your Preferences menu, Type section, what Text Engine Option have you chosen?

Make sure the screen is clean
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It's more likely a failed Erase Free Space, which creates a huge temporary file; that's why it looks like you have no more available drive space. You can recover from this. See these links

I tend to make my playlists right on my ipod. This did not happen for the last 2 years. Just started recently. Did get a new computer recently.

That is because you got a new computer. You can only sync all media from one syncing computer. You can sync from any computer to iPod using the manual method but that does not sync from iPod to computer.
To make this your syncing computer:

Have you attempted to reset the SMC? That would be the first step. Hold the left control, option, shift key and the power button for about 5 seconds and release. Then try to reboot. Might as well reset the PRAM as well. Hold command, option, P, R on start up until the machine restarts. If that doesnt' have any affect we'll have to dig deeper into a potential hardware failure.
If this method doesn't work, check the webcam that will tell the problem is on the iSight & WiFi cable. If your webcam is ok, then it'll be the WiFi card problem. Hope it can help ;-)

Have you tried to power off and on? If that doesn't work and the reset didn't work, have you tried connecting to iTunes to see if it is recognized?
If none of this works you probably need to visit an Apple genius bar and have it checked out by the techs.

Hardware Interrupts HELP please

My problem is this: when i open my PC everything works perfect, but when i execute a "heavy" programme(like games or a full system scan etc) after a while the CPU reaches 100% and the system is responding really slow(30-45 sec after the mouse click).I have downloaded the processexplorer and clearly the problem is the Hardware Interrupts.
I had the same problem 6 months ago, i formated the HD and everything was normal again.Yesterday the Hardware Interrupts started again.I couldn`t find anything to do(i`ve searched a couple of forums) so i decided to format the disk again hopping that everything was going to fix again(at least for some months) but unfortunately today and after trying to play Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars the system crashed and (based to processexplorer) the hardware interrupts was the problem again.

Help Please Software/Hardware Mouse And Keyboard problem.

I have a Corsair Vengeance and a Razr Black widow keyboard and the problem is that when i right click it wont let me select any options, it will flicker violently only when i move the mouse and im getting strange yellow highlight boxes whenever i drag
the left mouse button(ex Volume Sliders). The keyboard will only bring up shortcuts and the start button on my keyboard will open narrater settings. Ive noticed that it only happens when my computer falls asleep and when i turn it back on the problem will
start. Ive just installed advanced system care and ive done he maintanence. Can that be the problem? Ive already uninstalled it but the problem keeps happening.

Also run a "sfc /scannow" from the command prompt
Also in advanced power management setting disable the USB power saving options (think its called USB hybrid power saving)
