Has any one been able to access Lycos mail on thier iPhone?

Although I have used the recommended SMTp and POP settings, sent a number of emails to Lycos I still cannot access my email on the iPhone other than to use a web browser!

It doesn't help that apple tv is giving us the WRONG url:
"http://es.pn/appletv" works
"https://es.pn/appletv" does not work.
I'm having the same issue on verison FIOS.
I activate via the website and the website says "activation successful" BUT apple TV never lets me watch it. Always goes back to the 3 step activation code screen.
How long are we suppose to wait at step 3: "when complete your program will start playing"?
It's always a pain to active espn on devices.. ugh.
update: FINALLY after trying 4 times it worked. I exited the espn watch app and tried again. Had to re-activate and it finally worked.
After only a few minutes of espn watch on appleTV: wow this is much better then espn on xbox-live. Faster and simpler interface and the video streams much better.

Thank you for the reply.
You were correct that deleting the app and reinstalling it was the only thing to make it work but unfortunately I lost all the documents I made, even though they were backed up to iCloud before i deleted the app. At the same time as deleting pages I had to delete keynote and numbers too, so I've lost all the documents in them too.
The mb of data which was assigned to each programme in iCloud has reduced, so. I guess they are gone for good. Is there any other way to reaccess them?
Not your fault but I am a bit fed up the the iPad. I have lost work that I've done and have no other copy apart from what was in iCloud, as I don't have a printer and couldn't email them too myself as I couldn't get into the programme and i've also got episodes of tv series I purchased that I can't download and albums that are half downloaded with songs missing, so I feel a bit swindled out of time and money and am going back to DVD , pen and paper and CDs .
Instead of using iCloud I guess the only way to make sure I don't loose any more documents it to email them to myself each time I save them on the iPad. Is there anything else you could suggest please?
I don't have any other apple products apart from iPods, so I can't access the iCloud on anything else can I?

If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

Happy to report that iTunes Match has returned to working like normal on iTunes 10.7 on my computer today. If any iTunes engineers read this thread, I really appreciate the fix.

In windows 7 click on your start menu, go to the accessories, right click on the command icon and choose "run as administrator"
Once it opens type the following command...
netsh winsock reset
Hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer

Speak to your exchange & DNS administrators at your company.
It is likely a configuration issue on the server/network side. Event/IIS logs are key on your SBS.

Hotmail works!? how long have we been able to access it from safari?

Just organising a few things on my iPhone, Syncing a few photos and tiding a few things up. I synced my latest bookmark bar from my laptop and Hotmail was on it.
I tried to access the hotmail website from my synced Hotmail bookmark bar on my iPhone for a laugh to see if I could log on because I could never do this before and had signed up to izymail last November so that I could link up Hotmail to my Mail App on my iPhone.
Anyway, I logged on and Hotmail works fine now from my iPhone Safari web browser. How long has anyone been able to do this?
It'll mean that i'll be able to check my email when I have no Wi-Fi signal or EDGE which was always a nightmare when I was out and about and needed to check email.

In the past, when i've tried to log onto Hotmail through Safari on my iPhone - it would load after I entered my password and then just refresh the same page. Alot of users on the forum were complaining about the same problem back in November/December 2007.
I haven't read any articles on Hotmail for months now appart from people signing up to izymail.
So you think I should have always been able to access my free Hotmail account using Safari as long as I had W-Fi or EDGE Signal?

Satellite Tv + Pbook ?? BSkyB, has any one yet

Has anyone yet been able to get Satellite Tv to work with your Pbook and or do you need some equipment to do it?
I am looking to get a 2.7m or 3.4m Andrew dish so I can watch UK tv here in "Forest gump country" instead of the SPAM/ADD's about half dead people needing to take medicine that will likely make them more ill.
Even a dog can direct better add's than what I have seen here.
I have seen some PCI cards and even some PCMCIA cards but would likely have to install Gentoo or some other linux version for it to be able to work with my Pbook.
Also I have seen I will need a few sim cards but was hoping to get one with multi service on one card.
Maybe Goldcard / funcard 6 with SKY + Freeview from SKY + some German service and French even though I will likely not be able to understand it, it will just be so nice to see civilized tv for once.
If not I will have to emigrate to Europe as even in deep dark Africa 10 years ago I had better, more channels than here in "Forest gump country" obviously without the TV-SPAM.

Problem is that it is not live TV.
You can buy then from Apple Itunes and also get the movies you want or go to your local DVD/video shop and rent a movie/dvd.
My mission is to get live Tv from Europe either via the internet from a company there that has bundle packages / channels simmilar to Sky packages etc. Cheaper option but live streaming.
Or go and buy a 12 foot dish or +/- 3m motorized dish for EU900 is the cheapest I have seen in Spain and get something like the Pace 2600 to get the Tv channels and then either with wireless or something like the Slingbox be able to watch it anywhere in my house or I have to re-cable the whole house and this all looks like $5000+ min.
And this might still not be enough as the signal might be too faint/weak ????

Obviously there is some free channels here but again where does it come from and what does it contain is the problem.
On tigerdirect.com I have seen some pcmcia cards that can function as TV cards for laptops but likely there is no software for Mac as portable + big stationary box is not portable so then I can just as well use my TV+Pace2600 and cut the Mac out of the loop.
The wireless option maybe using VLC and a airport wall wifi device to get it to my Pbook + patio/deck outside can be a option.

Demo, I tried this but I still get the same message.
When I look at the iBooks app on the iPad screen the slider at the bottom is permanently visible as if it is about to download. When I tap the app to start downloading "waiting" appears underneath for about one second then it disappears and the above message window pops up.
So for the last month I have not been able to read any of the 3 books I recently downloaded. I haven't been able to do much about it as I have been travelling from the UK to Asia (the long way) so Apple stores haven't been on my route. I had hoped to read the books while travelling on various flights but it's been very frustrating not being able to do so.

Best option: Restore from your back up
Next best: Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

If I connect a time capsule via ethernet to an existing internet connection and use it to create a private wifi network for my wireless devices, will other users on the primary network (not the private wifi one) be able to access my files on my TCapsule?

Like it says in the title basically.
I want to use a time capsule to store my files and backups and access it from my phone and MacBook Air. However I do not want the others in my house who are currently connected to the same wifi/ethernet router to use my connection or my TC hard drives.
I had also been thinking about wirelessly extending the wifi network (a linksys N router) but I guess that will allow everyone to access my Time Capsule?

No, if you have not provided them with the Time Capsule device password.
Users will be able to "see" the Time Capsule icon under the SHARED heading in the Finder on their Macs, but they will not be able to access the drive or the files.
